    Excellent video - its not about buying the bike - its about maintenance - I had the same Yamaha RX for almost 15 years and I took great pride in maintaining it - Hopefully, I will be able to maintain my CB 350 the same way, if not better !

    Chain cleaning at home. Its amazing sir. In matter for 10-15 min, it became like a new chain with the synthetic lubing and simple kerosene. thanks for these updates in simplest of simplest ways so that anyone can do. Also re insiting on turning off the bike and doing it which shows the safety points which you always insist. Thanks again

    Great way to clean the chain.. Even company people don't do such detailed cleaning.
    WD 40 is basically kerosene and does not damage O rings..I have been personally using wd40 without any issues. WD 40 is actually a good cleaner. It has been working for me..I am not saying people should start using without doing some research online.
    Also it would be good to clean front sproket as well.. Keep up the good work

    • @motovin77
      @motovin77  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks and totally agree, no one can clean your chain better than yourself 😀
      WD40 is 10 times more expensive than kerosene, so I prefer to use Kerosene in a spray bottle.
      On usage of WD40 I happened to read mixed reviews of using it on O ring chains, but Kerosene seemed most popular one, end of the day WD40 is an expensive kerosene 😀
      Sprocket cleaning too early as the bike is brand new.

    I hav tried everything for O Ring chain maintenance. Successful and most easiest way is to pour SAE 90 gear oil when ever you see the rings getting dry, the gunk will get thrown away while you ride if chains are wet. Downside, you get a dirty wheel, but jus wipe it down. I got 35k out of one set. I hav read several oem manuals recommending only one thing " keep rings always wet", they dont even say cleaning.

    • @motovin77
      @motovin77  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hi sir. The only thing you do. Wash the chain with diesel that's all. Because wd40 has main ingredient is kerosene. And if kerosene is used you can clean with it ,dry the chain with cloth don't use your bike all night then lubricate with diesel. Again wipe the chain. Thanks

      It's mostly due to the chain slack only, get it aligned properly and make sure it's not running too tight. Things should return back to normal after some bedding in of new chain sprocket set.

    • @motovin77
      @motovin77  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      90 grade oil is suitable just that it will keep drying up unlike the chain lube which sticks on longer and oil would spray on to the tyre and rims rack time you lube.

      Yes you can wash the bike after lube but avoid high pressure jet directly to chain as it was get the lube off, I use pure kerosene only and you get it in small the me kirana store, 80/- litres and can last more than an year...vs the Motul or 3M or Wurth chain cleaner is 600/- for 400 ml and lasts 3-4 times...

      WD40 for chain is a debatable topic 😀 some recommend and some don't due to its contents, which might damage O Rings, also I would not recommend due to the cost, Kerosene is the best you can use and it's hardly 80/- a litre.
      After cleaning you can dry wipe and lube to keep rust away... This is needed every 800-1000 km or monthly
