Thank you for recording a brilliant tutorial and explaining some of your techniques. it was very useful to see the whole process from start to finish. Including how you made the changes at the end. It shows how important it is to take a break and come back to your drawing later, allowing you to spot where it can be improved.
You also mentioned the difficulty in getting the darker values with the graphite pencils and possibly trying out powdered graphite. Can I also mention that you can buy powdered charcoal, which may give a darker value and could also be worth a try.

Thank you so much Maylynn! Honestly I never thought I could do this 4 years ago. It just happened gradually with practice and honestly I think adult coloring helped a lot! You should pick something simple and give it a try. You might surprise yourself!❤️❤️❤️

Faces are hard at that angle! Amazing job fixing his eye, Karen. It’s scary to make corrections, worrying we’ll make things even worse. Especially with so many hours invested in a drawing. Your chimp is beautiful!
