I don't know why people think that having a skip button is synonymous with a bad story, the leader of the team said in the stream that players should have the right to experience the content the way they want to.
They even mention "no matter how polished the contents are" which means it's not trash. They just want to give us freedom to skip.

The story is definitely a focus, a lot of the focus in the game is on character interactions, it has a bit of a Persona feel.
I mean, the way you can tell is a taste thing is that you hated the song at the beginning, that's probably the best way for you to know if the game is for you or not...
I honestly thought I’d be uninterested in the game because for a while I thought it looked boring outside of combat, but the opening song caught my attention (and a certain white haired lynx guy lol, I’ll admit that). What’s funny is that I’m normally not a metal music fan, which is definitely saying something. So I decided to give it a try and if I don’t like it then I’ll just stop playing. At least I tried c:
@@foxianjade i definitely think this game is just catering to a smaller niche like some of their other titles (specifically something like tot). a bunch of ppl will tune in at launch but the hype will die and people will make their impressions. i think it'll have medium popularity as opposed to hsr and genshin. not necessarily a bad thing... i think it'll benefit the fandom for sure lol
All i see here are regrets waiting to happen when zzz comes out and all the bs reactions are flushed down the drain. Waiting for it 😇🙂
