I like these kind of videos, restoring old cars back to life. Especially the Toyota Echo, a car with great gas mileage is what we need now considering the world's economy. This car can be a daily driver for most people.
100k is really nice. I bought my 2 door echo for $900 just recently but it has 232k miles on it and it's shedding off its clear coat like crazy. other than that you really can't go wrong with these babies
It’s Toyota man, I mean TRUE Toyota, for not a big money you can pick her and she will run for a looooooong time, economic and very strong for ages, it even can go 90 mph if you drive it correctly. I love my Toyota Echo 2000.
I bought a second Echo some months ago. Its a 2004 sedan. It cost $2500 with 169000 miles. I bought my first Echo a decade ago. It was a 2001 sedan. It cost $4500. It had 125.000 miles on it. I am the third owner for both cars. The 2004 was used by the second owner has a taxi. Echo sedans are hard to find. Used Echos here sell for an average of $3000.
I have almost this exact car (mine just has power windows) and I love it. I’m excited to see what you do to fix it up. Please do how to videos if you can since this car doesn’t have many lol
Si es estándar nunca morirá simplemente cuida la palanca de cambios. Canbia el aceite frecuentemente .si el cable de aselerasion se parte no se te ocurra ponerle un remplaso tiene que er el original .los puntos del motor pueden ser remplaso .
As someone who has zero interest in cars beyond the convenience they provide I think this will be my next car! Every toyota I have ever owned has had over 200k on it and not one of them ever broke down in my 30 years of driving, Ac has always worked on every one, just put oil in them and change the filter occasionally, so I will never buy anything else until I get at Ev which probably wont be a Toyota because they have lost the plot not seeing them as the future.
In Canada the rust kills them. the steering components are not as good as as a camry. The echo was designed to be a light weight faster Corolla to appeal to younger crowd. they were so ugly at the time compared to a civic or even a bmw or vw bug, jetta fox etc. despite their looks they are dead reliable. Get one with no rust and smooth and replace any similar matrix corolla trecel parts.

About to buy a 2003 Toyota Echo for 4K with 100K miles on it here in America 😁 rare and reliable. Glad to see it’s very durable! 😄

Had a 2000 Echo for three full years. To this day, regret selling it. It was a wonderful car.

My 2001 Toyota Echo got up to 100-105 mph. Miss that thing
I love the Toyota echo, I just bought a 2003
How much you buy it for? How much mileage was on it? I’m about to buy one for 4K with 100K miles on it trying to see if I got a good deal.
It had around 144k miles on it and I got it for around 2,500$

12:14 It's either 2000-2002, 2003 and later had different front and rear Enjoyable video nonetheless. Thank you.
the honeycomb grill came out in 04
Purchased a 2001 Echo twenty-two years ago. Hardly any maintenance in 22 yrs. Get up and go to this day.
I've owned 40+ cars i love my 2000 echo
After sitting for three years, the gas was probably bad. Glad it started.
1) Never start an engine you want to keep until you have checked:
A) Got enough clean oil and gas?ar
B) Is the air cleaner clean?

Smart Hornets
Im remember my yaris 2003
The cheapest best quality car. These last a long time. High km there's no such thing. If see these cars with half million km still running strong
