Day 1 of 360 fragrances of 2023 SERGE LUTENS La couche du diable

A descriptive review of Serge Lutens La couche du diable, a unisex fragrance with oud, rose, saffron, and labdanum. Some say La couche du diable translates to either The Devil’s bedsheets, or the Devil’s diaper; but I really think it’s the Devil’s coochie. This fragrance is potent, dry, and reminds me of a dusty attic in summer. Recommended for people who like to say things like “would you like a piece of hard candy?” Or “back in MY day, we didn’t have these fancy gizmos and doodads; like computer phones, or electric light.”

I got my bottle and love how dark and mysterious it smells, the Incense is sooo good. 😈😈😈👹

It IS definitely dark, and I suppose mysterious. It is incense heavy. I wouldn't say this is a "compliment puller" although I did wear this and have a young woman start sniffing the air like a bloodhound, while quite angrily repeating "something SMELLS LIKE CHURCH!" over and over, so that's something, right?
