Made these 2x so far. After the first time, I wasn't sure if it was me or if I just had one of the best chicken wings I ever made and possible ever had in my life. Made 50 wings for a family party yesterday and everyone was blown away. This recipe is AMAZING and EASY! Cooked it on my pellet grill and came out perfect. Thanks Chud!
I just cooked wings yesterday on my offset following your directions. The butter on the wings was MONEY half way through. Thanks Chud! Skin was nice and crispy.
Gonna do smoked wings for the first time this weekend. Thanks for the tips. I usually do wings while I camp over the fire and they come out great. can't wait to try smoking them. My sauce: 50/50 blend of Frank's wing sauce and Heinze 57. It's amazing.
Stumbled across your channel, made the wings just as you suggested today, used the maple syrup/sarrichi coating, turned out fantastic! New sub here! Good work and thanks!
I once ate 40 wings at hooters along with a pitcher of beer on a Friday ( pay day ) after work with about 5 of the guys. All of us electricians. However I was only 18 and not supposed to be drinking beer. As we were about to leave I stood up and grabbed the almost empty last pitcher on the table, proceeded to empty it into my stomach and as I sat the empty pitcher back on the table I then emptied my stomachs onto the table. This became a legendary lunchtime story amongst the crew and still remains a one time event. God, I love hooters.
I'm definitely trying to smoke my wings like this tonight. I have a pellet smoker vs offset. Last time I tried, I cooked at a lower and slower temp thinking it would make them more tender, but I wasn't able to pull the flat bones out like that. So I'm going to try the higher heat tonight. Flats are my favorite because of how you can just pull the bones out.
Sorry for the comment on the older video. I like your style of BBQ. I'm a new subscriber. Your video really helped me with smoked wings. I have an off set smoker and only tried wings once, now I'm going to be making them a lot more. Thank you. Great video.
Just bought a smoker yesterday, and these were the first things I made today. Turned out good, but a very very very very small tad overcooked. Still very good. His video said he had his on for an hour. At around the 35 minute mark he was at temp and added butter. Mine were the same, but then got slightly above 200 DG. Should I have turned down the heat once it got half way, or taken them out earlier? Which would be better?
I recently stumbled upon your show and I have been absolutely hooked. When I find time off I'll for sure try some of your recipes. Shout out from Galveston Tx!
Thank you, Bradley/Chuds BBQ! I just followed this video using my recteq 590 and it turned out FANTASTIC! I used full-size drums bc they were $4 cheaper a lb than classic small wings/drums and the recipe worked. I've had my smoker for a week and have tried a bunch of different recipes from different channels and this one was my first that turned out perfect. My wife and son liked them and my son said he's never had chicken that tasted as good. I probably watched five or six other videos before landing on this one. This was the highest cook temp I think I saw (good for full size drums) and also the most simple. I like simple, especially on a weeknight meal that needs to come together after work. My only change was at 10 mins til done I basted a few legs in a Carolina BBQ sauce just to see how it would do and it was really good. Might do all of them that way next time. Thanks again! 👍🇺🇸
Great video. Try soaking your wings in white vinegar for 20 to 30 minutes before seasoning them. Then drop them in the grill. Amazing profile with smoking.
Try my favorite sauce: 2-part sriracha, 1-part local honey, and 1-part agave syrup with a touch of garlic powder. The agave really brings out the sriracha flavor while the honey lends an earthy sweetness. The whole is better than the sum of its parts!
I like to deep fry in peanut oil till crisped ( of course I gave em a short duration brine), then while piping hot , toss em in my "special " rub.........then to smoker with heavy Cherry Heartwood schmoke for about 20 minutes. Not dried out ( you might think so but not), smokey, crispy skin and delicioso!
Could you make a video on fire management for all the different types of smokers! I just got a drum smoker and I’m assuming it’s similar to the mini chud box, but I’m not quite sure how to manage the fire/coal
If you're looking for some ideas perhaps it's time to go around the world? Take bbq from different countries and put your twist on it. Love your cooking. Best wishes from Cape Town.
So after watching this video , my wife and I did just like you did (but in my propane smoker) The wings came out INCREDIBLE ! thank you for your help . I will be watching more videos you do . What do you have on baby back ribs ? also , where can I find your sauce ? thank you
They look awesome my man, I do regular franks with butter, 325 for about 50 mins, they look just like that, I also found drying in the fridge didn`t make much difference. I also did a tbls of corn starch for more crispier wings. I don`t bother with either, 325 for 50 mins there great, love the video.
Bradley: “I rarely plan ahead” Bradley in brisket Mac and cheese video: “You’re gonna want to throw this smoked cheese in the freeze for about a week” I love it haha
we have similar personalities, i was rollin lol. i dont have an offset i have an SNS Grill but do everything indirectly anyways. cooking up some wings on Sunday.
2023 checking in here. Superbowl is tomorrow, wings are in the fridge dry brining. Already know they are going to be good because I made them a year ago. Re-watching to remind myself.
18 year old me at CJs in Gainesville (may she rest in peace) once ate 100 Caribbean wings on All-you-can-eat Wednesday. It was an unprecedented act of Fatness..... Not proud of it, but not ashamed either....
First time I ever tried Buffalo Wings it was the hottest summer on record across Europe in the beginning of the 2000s. I was on tour with Twisted Sister, as tour manager. None of the hotels or venues had AC! We just did a show in Switzerland. At the end of the night someone put a huge bowl of at least 50 buffalo wings in front of me backstage. I ate em all. I've been making my own since. This will be my first try at making em in my Pit Boss smoker. Thank you for the tips!
I traveled from Chattanooga TN to Austin for Leroy and Lewis and Franklin's. Well worth the trip. I found a damn snake in my boot tho. Epic time and epic food! Thanks guys!
So a bit confusing to me. What was your total time smoking at 300 degrees for those wings? 1.5 hours, or 1 hour? I did the same today on a pellet smoker at 300 degrees and it took about 1.75 hr total time to get them right. But they were great. Crispy and not rubbery. Was it the butter?
Hi, Robinson Joseph, you made beautiful and crispy chicken wings most of them say buffalo is it actually buffalo animal wings or normal chicken wings like a hen I saw you took the hen chicken wings when you started the video however why people don't use wing tip someone who just use flat and drumeats thanks this video is helpful for everyone who wants delicious chicken wings thanks.
Wings and taco’s everyday, I like to marinate chicken wings in cherry Dr Pepper for one hour. Dry them off, and season with my honey Sriracha seasoning then smoke with cherry wood @ 300 degrees. Take them off a cover with Buffalo sauce mmm mmm good.
I like how you talk about what you are doing and why. You are a very good teacher. It’s in the details that make a good cook into a great cook.

So far the pellet grill wins the wing super bowl. Even leg quarters drum and thighs skin like paper. 345 for about 40 minutes ❤
Hey TH-cam give this man some money!
You can donate
@@FasterthanSpeed414 I'm good. Don't even watch this channel anymore.
@@elicalvo3446why? Lol

He’s like the friend that everyone loves to have around
40 full wings/80 pieces. They were massive, and I loved every one! Chicken wings are the best.
Thanks!
Love your channel and all your great info. You have helped me make my BBQ game immensely better. Thank you!

Great to hear! 🔥
Dude, finally got up to LeRoy & Lewis last week - best barbacoa I've ever had!
300-325° at 35 min mark mop melted butter over top. Then, let crisp up for another 20-25 min. Take off, sauce up, eat up.

A very under the radar demonstration on 3 ways to eat flats. I'm a # 2 guy.
Chud's BBQ is my spirit animal.
Just made these. Best wings I've ever made. Maybe the best I've ever eaten.
11:25 dude is me when I make wings at home 😂 love your videos man. Love coming back to these older cook vids
I'm seriously addicted to these videos, my God!
Always a funny line or two to keep things lite. Keep em coming. 👍
That pre-bite bone removal technique.... fantastic

Can you do a wood video, how to choose your BBQ woods

I was rewatching this because my son wanted to watch some Chud after a rough night but MAN am I buying some chicken wings soon now!
6:29 My reaction when I tasted the wings...lol thanks for the awesome video!
My wings in the weber kettle were nice. Made my sauce using hot honey and franks wing sauce. Most excellent
Thank you, Bradley/Chuds BBQ!

"In my boot...there is a snake!" Excellent as always :)
I'll try this today. Greetings from Vienna, Austria.
Would you say the overnight dry brined ones were noticeably crispier than than the ones that were not?
Great video. Try soaking your wings in white vinegar for 20 to 30 minutes before seasoning them. Then drop them in the grill. Amazing profile with smoking.
I watched this video and. DAMN!! I made these wings tonight for my friend and they were a hit. Thank you for all your help 😊😊
Made the wall of flame at Pluckers only Texans know what that is. 🔥
Lmao pluckers is the goat, is that a Texas only thing?

Hey bud where u get your logs from ….. and what’s the best
I like whenever you get excited after I cook
Definitely my superbowl wings recipe 😋. Thanks
Wing tips are the best part of the wing crunchy. Tips .
Thanks for the tips. Smoked/grilled wings I seem to always struggle with getting crispy skin on all of them.
I like to deep fry in peanut oil till crisped ( of course I gave em a short duration brine), then while piping hot , toss em in my "special " rub.........then to smoker with heavy Cherry Heartwood schmoke for about 20 minutes.

Any recommendations for cooking wings on a pellet grill?
Good work.
I'm making some tomorrow for the first time and yours made me salivate...lol
Cheers mate, a great video.

How long do you leave the torch in the chimney like that?

can you elaborate on the cornstarch trick? coat them with it pre-cook?
Ya fridge doesn’t seem to help much. I don’t. Just pellet smoker for 40 ish minutes at 345. Awesome skin.
Maple and smoke! It's what this Canadian does here in Vermont!
This is totally changing my wing game!!!
Thanks!
Have you tried wrights peach chipotle bbq sauce it’s on point
Anyone know where to get that brush he applies the butter with?
So, did you cook these at 300, 325 or 350?
I might have missed it but how many hrs in the smoker
Bradley: “I rarely plan ahead”
Bradley in brisket Mac and cheese video: “You’re gonna want to throw this smoked cheese in the freeze for about a week”
I love it haha
Hahahaha. Yesss! 😂
The best presentation! Thanks brother.
What kind of knife is that? It's superrrrrr sharp! I need it!
This video should have way more views!
we have similar personalities, i was rollin lol. i dont have an offset i have an SNS Grill but do everything indirectly anyways. cooking up some wings on Sunday.
Great video man, thank you. What do you think about corn starch or baking soda on the smoked wings, for extra crispiness?
Do you flip the wings

Good to see a Shout out for Jordan Wright. Also...I think I may have eaten about 50 in one setting, but that was in those teen years.
Always solid videos
I was literally just craving some sriracha wings last night! Now you really got me wanting some!
Where did you get that apron?
How did you get those wings crispy? We tried this method and still not very crispy. 🤦🏽♂️
Is that a Franklin offset smoker?
Awesome vid, I have to try this out, thanks for sharing.
Nice job on these! I’ll be cranking up the heat on my next cook!
Sweet baby rays and yellow bird habenero is great
They look great. Lots of good tips here.

fantastic! what do you think about pellet grills and wings? Love your stuff and keep the awesomeness coming! Yes put that sauce on the site!
76 wings my mom made. Best fried wings
I really like using beef tallow instead of butter to baste- but butter is great as well.
73, it was a really long sitting. Best $15 I ever spent
Hit that all you can eat!
This video right here is enough convincing for me to buy an offset smoker!
Thank you love your content and your explanations. Keep up the good work
Made these today. Turned out great!
thanks for the corrections I needed to stop making my wings ruby!
Going to try this for the big game tomorrow.
