- 故 종현 빈소 조문 온 현아(Hyuna)·유키스(U KISS)·SS301(더블에스301) '침통' [MD동영상]
20일 오전 서울 송파구 서울아산병원 장례식장에 마련된 그룹 샤이니 멤버 故 종현의 빈소에 현아, 더블에스301, 유키스, 슈퍼주니어 이특, 은혁이 찾아와 고인을 애도했다.
故 종현은 18일 오후 6시 10분께 서울 청담동의 한 레지던스에서 쓰러진 채 발견, 인근 대학병원으로 이송됐지만 결국 사망했다. 향년 27세. 서울 송파구 서울아산병원에 빈소가 마련됐으며 일반인 조문은 같은 병원 장례식장 지하 1층 3호실을 통해 가능하다. 유족의 의견에 따라 부검은 진행하지 않기로 했다.
故 종현의 발인은 21일 오전 9시. 장지는 미정이다.

Personally I'm thankful!! Thankful to see all these artists from different companies coming together to see one last time a friend, a colleague, someone who made a change!! And I'm thankful for all of their fandoms who give us support in a time like this!! I've been a shawol for 8 years and this pains me heavily... i just want to let everyone know that all the fandoms are welcomed and we'll return the favor and help you guys out when the time comes 💙💙

Ukiss and Shinee debuted the same year. Both basically grew up as a group at the same time. Kiseop look like he was about to cry.

i think why this was the most shocking suicide of celebrity because he was actively working as an idol for the past month before he died. thats is why people around him felt devastated and fan all around the world seems not to believed the news at first.. honestly i still cannot believe it until now.... T_T
A month plus ago an actor passed, this month an idol and a comedian... Its very devastating for all three entertainment fields in South Korea...
Adding on to your point that he is still active and it is sudden, I think it is also a sensational issue because he clearly has shown signs of depression to people around him and he wasn't really hiding his illness. It makes everything extra sad and regretful to his friends, fans and loved ones because they all felt like if only they did something more to save him.
That's exactly why it causes enormous pain to all. He was an active idol before he died. And I totally understand that feeling that friends and people around him may have thought of, they could've prevented it if they just noticed that he was about to really commit suicide. I feel sad for all of them. I feel sad because he is gone. I liked him. I love SHINee. Debuted as five now will be performing as four. T_T

I hope people would stop asking why YG artists are not around. Now is not the time to start another issue by questioning why the idols are not there. This kind of atmosphere is what stresses idols out... that they are supposed to behave a certain way and are dictated by the public.
Epik High, Taeyang and Lee Hi visited so far and maybe the others did but were not caught on video. Or perhaps are still going to visit. Maybe their schedule cannot let them pay their last respects but I am sure they have Jonghyun in their thoughts.
YG ENT sent flowers. This is a difficult time for everyone. The last thing they need is people criticizing others for not even being there. Jonghyun wouldn’t want that.

When these things happen you tell yourself bad things happen everyday it’s no different... but yeah it still hurts. We can’t blame anyone for not seeing his cry of help. We didn’t see it. Pretending that we did would be foolish. His agency, his group members, his family, his friends, his fans can’t blame anyone for it. It hurts to say but it was his decision to make. Time will eventually make it more bearable. We all know we can’t heal the pain from losing someone. It just gets a little bit better everyday until it’s a memory. Wherever good or bad.
I really hope he rest in peace now but also free from being who he wanted to be when he was alive.
I think what hurts the most is to know that he was still a human. Just like you and me. Being a star makes no difference from what you and I live everyday. To me, personally, an idol is this superhero I can look upon and that is invincible and always know how to make me FEEL.
I am not a shawol but I feel their pain. Kpop is a huge family where no one is left out no matter what.

종현오빠. 오빠 곁에 이렇게 많은 사람들과 팬이 있어요. 샤이니 종현으로써 너무너무 열심히 살아왔어요. 오늘은 눈이 내리던데, 천국으로 갔죠? 오빠, 이제 그곳에서 그 누구의 억압도 받지 말고, 스트레스도 받지 말고, 오빠가 만들고 싶은 노래 실컷 만들어줘요. 그리고, 나중에 나중에 오빠 만나면 꼭 들려줘요. 오빠의 노래를 듣고 자랐고, 오빠의 무대를 보면서 자랐어요. 다음 생애에는 웃음 많은 오빠로 태어나줘요. 고마워요. 그 동안 수고 했어요.

This makes me want to cry and brings back memories of when my own family member took his own life. I remember the day we got that call💔 Native Americans also have high suicide rates, I personally can feel that pain. We carry the traumas of our ancestors. I can say time will heal and positive thoughts. Navajos (my tribe) don’t think or talk about death and negative thoughts because it’s taboo, you always have to think positive for other people and yourself.
I know these videos might seem a bit rude or uncalled for at a time of loss like this but I do enjoy seeing how big of an impact jonghyun has had on other idols. he was such a happy, beautiful soul and talented artist, he clearly made many friends in his life who admired him. it's good to see :)

he was loved when he alive, and even he was not with us anymore we can see he really was loved by tons of ppls. how some idol gathering together regardless of they are still part of SM/group anymore. even luhan and jaejoong fly to korea to paid their last respect to their families. rest well jonghyun ah...you will and always be remembered
At first I kinda felt weird about watching these videos but I realised seeing how many lives jonghyun touched and how many people came to pay respect to him gives me a warm feeling.

forever 1993 Kim Joo Hyuk’s funeral also had a lot of people visit. Both are well loved and gone too soon. :(

YouDunNeedToKnow nope.. SS301 is subunit.. They used that name because SS501 is copyright from previous company. They probably use ss501 when 5 of them together.. But the members still use ss501 if they introduce themselves

YouDunNeedToKnow at this moment, ss501 is on hiatus but in 2016, the sub unit ss301 (already exist since 2008) were able to gather to make comeback while the other 2 were in army. The maknae will be finished his army next year and they always said they want to make a comeback with 5, that's why they'd try to make early comeback with sub unit. You can look at youngsaeng's ig where they took pic together excluded maknae since he's in army
