I think a double decker bus would make a great platform for a full solar-electric conversion. The high sides provide room for a whole array of panels to be folded down each side of the bus, and then raised horizontal when it's parked up.
I know this company as she was a derby bus coach. I'm 100 sure you'll look after this old girl. can't remember if she lived on ascot drive or the bus depot in the town centre.
Don't know where you find the time for all the projects, especially with the farm, Forgot about the first bus you started many moons ago but glad to hear it's back in the pipeline what's the plan for both, temp accommodation or campers?
Love the sound of that engine
When I was a kid, used to ride this kind of bus to go and come back from school.
It would be great to see some more of the bus
Once the engine cleared itself out,it seemed to be pretty clean..,💪👍😁
It runs pretty decent 👌
Was there something stuff in the fuel?
Judging by the sound and smoke that has to have a Gardner 6LX engine! 😂
Nice sounding engine
I drove that in London! Check the body framing at the rear, they have a habit of rotting around the engine bay.

Yes.. and the bus has less weight.

M1373 - London general Sutton garage, with route 213 blind still in rear!
Maybe you might wanna try to restore the mcw metrobus into its original condition ( including the interior ) instead of leaving it to rot
This bus looks like it is from the 1980s or 1990s.. how many kilometres has it done.
Why would do this to such a beautiful bus having worked on MCWs
Good luck with that.
Thanks
