- I hate top 5 or top 10 videos. I understand why they exist and why people make them and have even done them myself, but I can't stand them! This is why!!

So freakin true. Here in the states, the fishtube scene seems to be heavily dominated by folks from regions where the water is especially low alkalinity, and they have never once touched on the carbon equilibrium or the fact that the majority of this country sits on limestone, and dont understand why they keep killing plants from these top 5 youtubiest TH-camr copy of a copy of a rehashed video about plants youtubers were able to grow without knowing why. Yeah this is a huge hot button issue for me 😂
I used to be embarrassed about struggling with certain plants until I started looking at the nuances of water chemistry. That part tends to be ignored because it can be hard to fully understand before the algorithm demands that next upload, and even harder to explain all the potential variables in an 8 minute video.
After days of round the clock editing I was just about to publish our ‘top five easy (something video)’ 😢 so in a nutshell your saying we should go top *ten** 😂
I like Top 5/10/whatever videos tbh, they’re a great jump-off point for research.
I watch a video of Top 10 Blue Fish, I see one that might fit my niche, I research it specifically for another two hours…it’s a good workflow for beginners!

I can’t grow pinitfita. I’ve tried submersed and emersed. It just melts… conversely, I just put in some staurogyne repens for the first time ever and I’m seeing the first signs of growth after 2 weeks. 😊

Apart from guppy grass I have erm 2 amazon swords and crypts .. bought from some guy at an auction ... funnily one crypt is going thru a melt stage the other one is fine which I find weird
