    There are so many carrier oils that can deeply nourish and support the wellbeing and appearance of the skin - it was hard for me to choose just 5! Are there any that should have made the list?

    As a cleansing oil ,I’ve been using Olive and Castor oils for several years. I no longer use makeup , my skin is flawless and I’ve learned to appreciate the childlike naturalness I’ve regained as a result.
    I would like to know which oils are best used as a moisturizer on normal , sensitive skin .
    I’ve tried cocoa butter and shea butters , butters don’t work well with my skin. I would love to discover an essential oil of your recommendation. Thanks Amy.

      thanks for watching....are you looking for a moisturizer? to nourish and hydrate? Carrier oils and butters will do that, but no essential oils....

      thanks! grapeseed oil is a great oil for the face! Packed with nutrients and antioxidants. Oils for "anti-aging" - avocado, pumpkin, carrot seed, aprocot, argan, rosehip, evening primrsoe, borange, sea buckthorn, pracaxi, apricot....

    Hi! Glad to watch your content. I wanna remova all my skincare routine to natural. The ingredients in my skincare contain several chemicals that make my skin worse. Clogged pores, oily at T zone, but some parts feels dry and sore also even peel. Acne scars are also present and form uneven skin.
    Would you like to give me suggest, what should i use for my face?
    I'm ready to start my carrier oils journey ❤

      Awesome to hear this! Always better I think to use plant oils. For the face simple carrier oils like jojoba, argan and rosehip work wonders! I would do: 50% jojoba, 25% argan and 25% rosehip in a blend and use that before bed, after cleansing your face!

    For years I have been using fresh rose hips from my garden then dried to make a lovely oil for my skin. Unfortunately I no longer have my lovely rose hips to use but have been using organic dried rose hips. I soften them first with my carrier oil smooch them then heat them in a very low oven less than 100 degrees 8 hrs or more. I usually used almond or grape seed oil; I liked the properties of their absorption. I am a little confused as to what I am making since # 5 is rose seed hip oil, so what am I making
    I would like to try the avocado oil is this the same as the stuff I cook with?

    • @officialamygalper
      @officialamygalper  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes! What youa re making is called an "infused" oil and it has different properties than the expeller pressed rosehip seed oil. Both are nice. But if you are looking for the powerfully anti-inflammatory and skin reparative properties of rosehip for skin, I'd purchase the rosehip seed oil!

      Why on earth do people say this? As if the destruction of everything we and our loved ones know, is this somehow exciting prospect. It's insanity. Hell on earth, regardless of whether my family and I would be poofed away, is and SHOULD BE absolutely horrifying. Knowing the non-believers I love would experience that fate, is heartbreaking. Knowing ANY person would experience that is horrifying and heartbreaking.
      Possibly there is naivety, a lack of compassion, or hatred clouding your judgment.

      you could. But essential oils and water don't mix, so you'd have to shake your bottle really well each time. and I'd only use water in a spray mist bottle.

    I'm wondering your thoughts on argan oil. I seem to have very sensitive skin and prone to breakouts. I once used a moisturizer that helped clear my face up, it had aloe in it. I tried using it again and now I noticed it itches my face so I'm guessing I'm allergic to the preservatives or something. =/. What would you recommend specifically for people with acne, blackheads, and sensitive skin?

    • @officialamygalper
      @officialamygalper  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Everybody's skin is different, and without me actually meeting you and seeing your face, it's hard for me to "guess" - but I will say that Jojoba and Tamanu would be my first picks....just do a patch test on your arm for 24 hours and see if you have a reaction? and use a little!

    I'm missing something here. I'm just an older guy who wants to try an essential oil (helichrysum) on my face for dark spots. I know you dilute the essential oil into the carrier, but you make it sound like I have to dilute the carrier itself? Do you mean you would/could dilute the carrier oils with other carrier oils? Thus you can use pumpkin, apricot, and avocado "straight" out of the bottle, but if you use rosehip or pomegranate you need to add much more of some other carrier oil to it?

    • @officialamygalper
      @officialamygalper  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      great question. And yes. I would recomend "doluting" down rosehips or pomegranate oils, BUT you couold also use them stragiht on the skin. I suggest diluting those two carrier oils down because 1) they can fell tacky on the skin, so by mixing them with another carrier oil like Jojoba for example, it will make it feel less tacky and lighter on the skin. 2) rosehip and pomagranate tend to be more expensive, and tend to go rancid more quickly - therefore if you mi them with a more stable less expensive carrier oil like avocado, or jojoba, you can improve shlef life and save money. Hope this helps?

    • @TamiLovesRioSamba
      @TamiLovesRioSamba 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You are going to love helichrysum essential oil on your face. Yes, you must dilute this essential oil with a carrier oil to avoid damage and irritation. Pomegranate oil is like castor oil in feel. You can use it straight up, but I prefer to mix it with a much lighter, dryer oil for smooth speadability and less sticky. Raspberry seed oil is a great choice to mix with Pom oil.
