Crap, only now I notice that I've put Andy Serkis as narrator, when it's obviously Rob Inglis. Anyway, thanks for watching! And special thanks to @AlexSonicsMusic for providing better choirs for this track. Can you tell what they're singing?
@@RunarLundvall About 2-3 weeks. I don't know if I have a clearly defined method, but I started with the first Rohan Fanfare and the choir announcing Aragorn's arrival and then worked outward from there. Some places required a few do-overs (Éomer preparing to face the corsairs) but mostly what you hear is quite close to the original ideas, with most time spent on orchestration and timing.

Tentative guess, but it sounds to me like Aragorn's oath?
@@luinérion Spot on!
Man, I adore this. This is one of my favorite scenes from the books and the score goes with it phenomenally.
Great work. Well considered and constructed. Very evocative.
Impressive as always. It's ideomatic and fresh, and 8:37 - that length of a track is no joke!
Huh, now that you say it, it is indeed my longest composition yet (though I can't take credit for one minute of it)
@@monoverantusOut of curiousity - how long did it take? Did you sketch beforehand?
