Safety above everything else. Those are likely instructors, not Drill Sergeants, so their job is to get the soldiers through the training safely. When you are running an exercise that involves live fire, explosives, or anything else high risk, you have to have your recruits locked in to what you want them to do. The night infiltration course is not the time to yell at recruits for no real reason. Give them their instructions and make sure they understand what they need to do in order to avoid an incident.
