Oh yeah the devil directors said that the Blu Ray is their preferred format for this film …. Personally I’m still not sold on 4k…. Feels like I’m just paying more for a Blu Ray honestly

@AVAPopCulture Yes, Diabolik is a bit slower when it comes to shipping. I support Orbit and Diabolik. I order half my stuff from each. I love both!

I pre ordered the standard edition 🎉 I'm not a collector that needs all the extra stuff that i will never need so I'm happy with just the movie. So glad its finally coming 🎉
every collector is different! for me, I like to have what I feel like are the "definitive editions/sets" of the films I like....I look at it like this, if I was collecting cars like my dad used to, I wouldnt collect the base model, Id collect the loaded special editions lol - the ones everyone would covet later...I look at films the same way!! especially when the price difference is usually $25 or less! but there is no wrong way to collect! just love films and physical media baby!!!!!
@AVAPopCulture yes of course, and I totally understand why people like yourself want the definitive editions, but for me, the movie is what I am collecting, not cards and posters and other stuff that I will never use. So as long as I have the definitive 4k movie disc, then the rest is not worth paying double in price for. Also collecting 4k media is expensive enough, so in order for me to get all the releases that I want I would never afford getting them all in the definitive editions. But yes ultimately Collecting physical media is great for ourselves and the community in whole 🎉👍😊
@@021om6 that is what makes it great! we all have our approaches and collect in different ways and value different things - the artworks takes me back to being a kid in the early 80s picking unheard of movies by cool cover art for instance, so I value that...but what is most important is preserving the films, giving them new life, and keeping physical media alive and important!

Instantly preordered Hitcher from Orbit and threw in Village of the Damned since I’ve never seen it
oh I appreciate that!!! yeah I think I covered Village of the Damned in my first "news" video! I get excited about stuff I am targeting and want to make sure others know abot them and dont miss them, so I will definitely try to keep those videos up!!
The Hitcher is excellent, but not feeling the artwork, though amazing extras, so might go for a lower release. Love my Dog Soldiers release too!

Gotta say I am glad I ordered the Umbrella Blu-ray box set as I prefer the poster and umbrella box artwork way more. Not a big fan of this artwork BUT I did order as it’s filled with amazing features. These second sight releases artwork are starting to look all the same but happy it’s being released in 4k such a long wait years waiting since they first announced this. Look forward to that book etc 🎉
the you're next and hitcher art work are kinds feeling the same -especially when compared to the Dog Soldiers set...but they do load it with quality and extras! I hate that I missed on the Umbrella late night with the devil set!!!
I love the Texas Chainsaw & Martin , and dog soldiers artworks but yeah I hope they move onto other artists.
I would email umbrella asking about late night to see if they will add more stock as I have seen them do that previously.
There is a 4K German MediaBook release with similar artwork of Late Night With the Devil, but not sure how good it is...

Hmm so the WM Universal steelbooks are just from Best Buy/ FYE Alex Ross ones from years ago. They sold out but local FYE had WOlfman and Bride steelbook for $10 years ago but i wanted the set which is now WELL over $200. so hope these dont get bought by BOTS and go for even more.

@@AVAPopCulture Not everyone is like “us” and upgraded to 4k. Hell, if I could go back I probably wouldn’t have. A lot of it has been a waste of money. But your comment is just dumb, like a blu ray is inferior or something.

I was just talking about this…Second Sight puts out a set like this and I can get it shipped to me cheaper ($66) than the MSRP of Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid which only comes with a foldout pamphlet. 😂
Sorry I know I keep bringing it up but it’s just so damn funny to me how much value you get with these sets. I almost feel like they should cost more, like I worry about Second Sight and Arrow turning enough of a profit sometimes. Lol

yeah taht is interesting, but to be honest, they both have the same content and all of the content so I will probably never pop the bluray in lol

I'm wondering how many people know what your hat is a reference to. I knew immediately it was Return of The Living Dead. Have you ever wore that hat out in the real world and had someone comment on it?
I just wore it several days around Universal Studios Florida and Disney world and nobody ever acknowledged it lol...I wear it out all the time and so far, nothing LOL
