Winter Landscape in Black and White Pencil

Here's a landscape drawing in a slightly different technique. I used Faber Castell Polychromos black and white pencil and Koh-i-Noor Gioconda black and white pencil. The surface was 1 1000 grit waterproof sandpaper.

Fixative or not, that's a stunning picture. I am also appreciative of the 1000 grit sandpaper use. Cannot wait to try that myself !

clever use of the pencil for the bark of the tree. do you seal with fixative your work? i have found that depending on the kind of pencil it may darken or even smear lightly the colors.

Yrah, I do. Koh i Noor fixative works with charcoal and graphite. With pastel not so much. I prefer Conte there.
