The chromatic theme in the prelude of this piece makes a great exercise for the one-keyed baroque flute. Transcriptions are available in the original key of a-minor, along with the other minor keys from f#-minor through c-minor. It is a challenging work for awkward forked fingerings and intonation. This is my first experience with hearing it in its original context. Marvelous.

Great focus and concentration. I laughed knowing how great and old music is preserved by someone so young. Beautiful and I must admit I feel a bit jealous or plain admiration. Thanks!
This is the better of the interpretations of this work by current day artists. I lean more toward a legato approach, but this is really good. The pedal work is fantastic, really above most others. Note: I don't watch the video for the first two or three listenings and make my observations from those. This is a great artist.
