aw
this channel is so underrated ,and the question is WHY? She teaches everything( even more than that) that a person with millions of subscribers does. what I like most about her channel is she doesn't teach common things all the time, even if the problem is common the way of her explaining is quite different, such as the topic "articles" , I have always been baffled over the uses of articles and every time I search about it a lot of channels pop up with the same information when to use and when not to use which is just for beginners but Kayla's article video was relatively excellent in that regard. Keep it up
my favourite idiom for today lesson was ( if you cant take the heat stay out of the kitchen ) .
thank you so much today lesson , that was supper dope .
you teach in a way that helps me alot .. thank you
Great teacher 👏
A very useful video. Thank you very much.
Your teaching and you both are beautiful❤
Hello Kayla. Thank you for another great video. I've been studying English for a long time, but you're always able to teach me something new. Been looking for a channel like yours for quite some time. I had managed to learn all the fancy words from textbooks that no one else uses besides professors and wanted to find a way to sound more natural. It's great to have a channel like yours where I can finally learn real-life phrases in such an entertaining way. You’re very beautiful too 🙃
You are the exact person that benefits from my channel. Thanks for your comment Marcell. I think it's important to advance your English in academic ways, but also more casual ways that will help your daily conversations. 😀
Great better english if enough time will come to watch .thanks a lot

EXCELLENT 👏👏👏 CHARLES STAUDT FROM BRAZIL 🇧🇷
The band 5 seconds of summer has a song called "She looks so perfec" and in this song they use this idiom "simmer down".
my favourite word instead of a phrase was snorky you have used it in two different context and took a different meaning but it´s cool
Thanks a lot, kayla. I do really appreciate it. Keep it up.

Grateful for your diligent work. You're an amazing teacher
Your style of teaching has a natural flow, and you make it look so easy.
Frankly, learning a language is almost impossible task. Because there is always a lot to it, no matter how much effort and time you put into it. However, your style is so motivating and supportive, I feel so encouraged to learn more. Thank you. You are the best! Also you look nice in that lovely dress. Feeling lucky to met your videos.

What a beautiful country!❤
Good morning, teather!!
Good morning!
I've always heard it said: don't translate word for word. That's fine,
"I've got a lot on my plate" because is easy to understand/guess for English novices like me, but "cut it out."? How do you know that "cut it out" means Enough is enough! or Stop!. What's the catch?
I'm waiting for you!😃
It's live!
Hi there Kayla. First of all thanks so much for this great lesson. When I look up the last phrase in online Camberidge dictionary it says, " If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen" Is it a British equivalent phrase or the same? Thanks in advance.🖤🖤🖤🖤
Great, can i call for you to speaking how to listening English?
KAYLE SAB KUS❤
Hello Kayla can you please explain the difference between "right here/there" , "over here/there" and "right over here/there" ?
Kayla is out. I am the teaching assistant. (kidding).
Example A: Kristoff sees that Anna needs help and runs to her and says, "I'm here, what do you need."
Example B: Kristoff tries to find Anna and shouts, "Anna, where are you?" Anna saw Kristoff and shouts back, "I'm over here".
Example C: Kristoff is trying to find carrots in the kitchen but can not find it. Anna points at the carrots on the kitchen counter and says, "They are right here."
Example D: Continuing with Example C, if the kitchen is really big and Kristoff stands far away from the kitchen counter, Anna may also point at the carrots on kitchen counter and say, "They are right over here."
In Example B, Anna can also say, "I'm here". However because there is a distance between Kristoff and Anna, Anna says, "I'm over here." If Anna stands in front of Kristoff, she should NOT say "I'm over here".
In Example C, Anna can also say, "They are here". However because Anna wants to emphasize how obvious where the carrots are, she says, "They are right here." "Right here" = "here" + some emotion.
@@fanzheng1412 thanks buddy!
Some more for your guys -
1. Knock it off - stop doing something
For example - hey don't make noise, baby is asleep. Either you go out to play or you better knock it off
2. Buttering up -praise someone in order to get your work done
For example- he always tries o butter up his boss
3. Get a grip - relax, and chill ( especially when you are unduly worried, angry, and overreacting.

4. simpering around - similar to butter up but we use it for smiling expression (artificial smile)
For example - he is simpering around his crush
5. call it a day - to stop doing something /finally give up on it
For example - I have been working all day, let's call it a day
-we tried to talk him into it , but no avai ,it's time to call it a day
6. In the nick of time - at the last moment (especially when something bad is going to happen
For example - he was about to hang himself but his parents arrived in the nick of time.

For example - don't worry even tho now he is a bit stubborn he will fall in line and join us .

For example - I finally mustered up some courage and asked for my promotion to our autocratic boss.
- I plucked up the courage and told my colleague to mind her own business .

I head a lot of it - cut it out (movies)
Appreciate your hard work and dedication, We got a same content (English teaching videos). Hope you grow faster, Good luck...
My favorite phrase is "I have a lot on my plate". I will try to remember to say it the next time I go to my favorite buffet.
I think "idioms" got a bad rep. "Natural English" sounds better... more natural. I'm just saying...
Thanks for that feedback. The word idioms feels formal, I consider myself more of a casual teacher, so I think you may be correct
Simmer down
There's a lot to it
Theres nothing to it
Half baked idea
Cut it out
To have a lot on your plate
To grill someone
Double down
Whip up
Boil over
Make a mess
To stir the pot/ to stir the emotion
When life gives you lemon make lemonade
Roll out
If you can't take the heat stay out of the kitchen
Fucking good buddy 👍
how about roasted for grill😅
