Writers are not Gods. Though they have the power to shape the stories of the multiverses they rule over, they are still just as susceptible to emotion as the Audience who watches their stories. One such fallibility is exemplified in Violett who, during intense stress, subconsciously manifests chains which latch onto her wrists, ankles, chest, and back, and attach themselves to the floor, locking her in place for all to see. Deservedly, as she can't run from the horrible things she's done. She can never run. It's all her fault. I made this a while back - around the time I originally conceived of the idea for I Did A Bad Thing. You can tell why because of the subject matter.
