*THEORY* You know when the journalist mentioned his daughter, that "daughter might be info-chan , and the reason why she is helping ayano is because she was furious when she found out about what ryoba aishi did to her dad, and wanted to avenge her dad, Another intersting thing is that yandere dev showed us the sneakpeaks of the final game, and when ayano choses something harmless to eliminate her rival, info chan seems a bit suprised when ayano didnt kill her , instead of "suprised" what if she was mad? why? because if ayano chooses a harmful method ( ex: stabbing, crushed, s*icide) info chan will have MORE proof that she is a psychopath, and her mother will be exposed too, but if ayano chooses a harmful method (ex: befriend, matchmake, rejection) she will have less proof, So, my point is, the ending depends on what sins you commit, if you harmfully eliminate your rival, info chan will betray you , ayano will be behind bars and will never have senpai . if you eliminate your rival in a harmless way, she will fail and you will have senpai, and just that, remember the rumors that at the end of the game you will fight info- chan, this might come true if you choose not to harm any of the rivals, you will now fight info chan because of that. ( and info chan dropped her dad's tapes in the school grounds after listening to them that explains why they are in plain sight) I hope this made sense :)

When Ayano gets a uniform from Info-Chan it is for the Kokona's quest.. i dont remember that you as Ayano can get that uniform to wear. When Ayano has blood on her uniform she changes or in the swimming class uniform or in the gym class uniform. Edit: and when you change you must throw the uniform and burn it.
That wouldn't make sense, though. That was, what, tape 6? The final tape and him, as well as Ayano's parents, leaving Japan happened right before the events of the game begin. This means him finding the blood on Info-chan's clothes would have happened well before that.

Here's my theory... (Warning : You might get bored reading this) First up, someone in the comments say that the Journalist was Kokona's father, but I think it was incorrect. If you offer help Kokona, she didn't mention that her father was a journalist, and also Kokona's father stayed in Japan while the Journalist move out from Japan (as you can hear from the tapes). The girl who ruined the Journalist's career was Ryoba Aishi, aka Ayano's mother. The Journalist was the father of who we all know, Info-chan. It says that the journalist's daughter was always playing her computer. And that's when I believe his daughter was Info. Since the journalist was too focused to get his career back, he forgot to took care of Info. One of the tape says, that Info came back home with lots of blood in her body. Since her father don't want to get involved on Info's business, info thought he didn't care about her at all. Then she decided to make this "plan" That involved Ayano and her mother, still I don't really know what's her plan that she got. But what she didn't know, the journalist was actually cared for her, before he leave Japan. So based on the tapes it’s pretty clear that info Chan is the journalists daughter, and the reason he’s in America is to escape Ryoba, in the basement tapes she talks about leaving Japan to find him. I genuinely feel sorry for Ayanos dad tho, I thought he actually fell in love with her but he was really just kidnapped with no where else to go.

I have a theory: The Journalist married a Yandere. In tape 6, he mentions that he met a woman that as soon as they met, she wanted to spend every waking moment with him, wouldn’t let him out of her sight, and got possesive if another woman even looked at him. That’s pretty much all the evidence I have, but I just found it odd that YandereDev chose to have the journalist describe his wife with these sentences.
@@lamariah807 I went back and checked the timeline video and the answer is no. Ryoba’s sister finds her senpai, kills all the girls interested in him, and marries him in 1995. However, the woman met the Journalist in 2003. But I will admit, that possibility was in the back of my head, but unfourtunately, it turned out to not be true.
Okay I know I’m late to the party but hear me out. Remember the Fun Girl Easter Egg ( Jay from the Kubz Scouts upload it) she said that “In this universe, my father only had one daughter, she’ll never know she ever had a sister.” She also states “but the worse part is, is being forgotten.” Megami’s aunt had left the family business to search for “her sister” she believed she had. Fun girl also states “My universe is identical to this one....with one difference.” So what I’m getting out of this is that there are two different universe’s with the same people, but just different reality’s. Since she said “the worst part is being forgotten” i think that since there are two different universe’s she wasn’t reborn in the second one, meaning that she never existed and no one knows who see is. OK OK THEORY TIME If u watched LaurenZside play the "yandere simulator 1980 mode" (which is a game based off of yandere chan's mom) you'll be able to understand this better. Yandere's mom made friends (with red hair) with someone who is obsessed with murder and violence. LaurenZside guessed that was Info-Chan's mom. Then here the journalist said he didn't know what his wife saw in him, which may because the redhead girl is obsessed with his weak figure in some way?? Then they gave birth to Info-Chan, who also has this weird obsession with violence (like her mother) and she helps Yandere Chan with her murders. BOOM, there we go. OH MY GAWD WAIT WAIT. You can notice how the jornalist is disturbed. When he mentions of letting a woman die only for he to prove something abou Ryoba, i noticed how his sense of justice was disturbed, how HE felt disturbed by Ryoba's actions. Plus... thinking if I didn't know about Ryoba, or the Aishi family, I would strongly support her in the judgment. You can tell *why* she received so much support from across the nation. It really looks like he's just a weird old man, lost in his life, trying to blame a woman to get fame. Specially thinking that he stalked a schoolgirl in 1980. I like how people say that Taro is the Journalist son but theses tapes comfimed it to be untrue because he has no son he only has a daughter which when his wife give birth to his daughter and died so there's no way that Taro is his son. The lore of this game is insane. I think the mysterious tapes is Ryoba (Yandere Chan’s mom) killing her rivals to confess to Yandere Chan’s dad and the basement tapes are about Ryoba and her husband going to America to track down the Journalist. When I first heard the mysterious tapes I thought the girl that the journalist was trying to get arrested was Info Chan, but now I think Info Chan is his daughter.
It’s interesting to consider that Ayano’s mother left the journalist alive as a loose thread. Why would she? Yes it’s a risk to kill him but it’s an even greater risk to let him live. Why wait for him to make the next move? Did meeting her husband make her soft and hesitant to kill? Or is there another pawn we aren’t made aware of yet? Or one we haven’t considered, like the journalist’s wife. From the way he describes her she sounds like a Yandere. In my mind it doesn’t sound too far fetched for a yandere to ruin someone’s life in order to make sure they’re completely dependent upon you. Or better yet get someone else to do it. Perhaps there was an arrangement in 1989 between Ryoba and Info-Chan’s mother much like the one between their daughters in the present.
This gotta be info-chans dad. The fact Royba (Ayanos mother and idk if I spelt it right) actually played off innocent and knew he might be up to her. To install yandere simulator you first need to download a zip file opener application (I recommend winrar) then go to www.yanderesimulator.com and click the download page. Ok, soooo, I thought about it at 3 o'clock in the morning so there's a good chance it's just another weird paranoia, sorry for my english too :v The person who destroyed his career is Ryoba, aka Ayano's mother, and his daughter is Info-Chan Maybe it does not make much sense, but nobody knows much about Info-Chan, only that she helps Ayano with some services in exchange for pictures of panties (that she sells for boys, a way to get so much money). I really doubt that the journalist is Kokona's father, even if some things in the story look quite alike. Actually, in Kokona's befriend/betray mode, when she's invited to Ayano's house, Yan says that her parents are overseas, maybe it has to do with the journalist? Anyway, I have no idea about who Ryoba was stalking, is it someone we know?

Kaylah Hopkins I think it's related to Megami because Ryoba knows Megami's dad had a crush on her in 1989. And I think Ryoba's trying to use Megami's dad to get rid of Megami which is the hardest BY FAR to eliminate, so I think one of the methods to eliminate Megami is by Ayano's mum.
Ryoba has a younger sister and that sister married the journalist and they had a daughter together. And if their daughter is Info-Chan is that means that info-chan and Ayano are cousins.
I think I know the "plan" that info chan's, it's probably tricking Ayano to go murderer to get her senpai, and maybe info chan could expose her, then she probably would show all the evidence to the police. Since, she is a high computer hacker and knowing many secrets, she would know what her father had experienced in the past and to test it out to see if it is true.
I wouldn't be surprised and probably if that works Info-Chan would more than likely send a message to Ryoba and her husband who is 100% the Upperclassman that she stalked back in the 80s essentially taunting her because she put her daughter in Jail and it'll be revenge on Ryoba on Info-Chan for ruining her Dad's life and it'll be like Ryoba took her Father away from her and She takes away Ayano from her Mom.

Obviously the journalists daughter is NOT Kokona. Though maybe info-chan is a more convincing candidate. Remember, Kokona is a test rival. She is not a part of the final game. The evidence points more to Info-chan because of the fact that she is always on her computer. And Kokona says that her dad is still in Japan trying to pay off Musume-chan's father's loan.

After watching the true ending of 1980s mode.... it's so weird how the mother of info chan is set up... It's possible that Ryobas sister is the mother of info chan. She gives birth to a daughter at the same time the journalist does, and the description sounds like an Aishi or Yandere of some kind... specifically someone with Ayanos condition. But at the same time, other events dont line up. Ryobas sister marries her Senpai in 1994, but the journalist finds his lover in 2003 on the same timeline.... So it sounds right but not right...
Hello, I would just like to share a theory as to who this investigator is, I believe that this man is Info-Chan's father talking about Ayano's mother. I am aware that there isn't much evidence that it is Info-Chan's father but I would just like to share small information I caught up during the tapes. As of now, we don't really know much about Info-Chan, but from 10:50-11:10, the investigator says that his daughter spends a lot of her time on the computer, as well as that his daughter somehow has a lot of money on her - this links to Info-Chan as she spends most of her time on the computer and trades with Ayano in game. Another clue is that at some points after school, she comes home covered in blood, I think that this information is about Info-Chan covering a murder performed by Ayano which explains why she would've been covered in blood when coming home, this also links her in mission mode as she is the tutorial in the mission and yet somehow knows how to cover a murder in general. This is just a small theory I have just come up with, you all don't have to agree with me, but I thought I'd share this. Thanks you 😊
I really like this theory, it seems to make sense. The only thing I would question is why info-Chan would help Ayano. Yes, she gets money out of the pantie shots but that’s about it I think. Isn’t it weird that in the beginning of the game she texted ayano and already knew her intentions? She must know about her mom’s case in 1989 or something. If info Chan is his daughter, then why would Info Chan help the daughter of a person that ruined her father’s career?
@@bangtansugay5021 I believe that Info-Chan is probably helping Ayano to study her behaviour and learn more of her family history out of sheer curiosity/fascination. Or that she's planning some kind of revenge on Ayano for her father and his years of self-deprecation, and, as a result, would probably try to use what information she's gathered on Ayano and her antics as evidence against, not just Ayano, but also her mother as some kind of influence to her and to finally bring them to justice (if possible); in other words, some kind of betrayal/revenge scheme. The fact that these tapes are around the school grounds, could indicate that Info-Chan has listened to these tapes and purposely scattered them across the school grounds to either: A) - a warning to Ayano, to let her know of what has occurred to her family's past and that history could repeat if she's not careful which could end very differently to her mother. B) - an indirect threat to Ayano, to warn her that Info-Chan is on to her, and to inform Ayano of what her father's past intentions (also career) was and that she's planning to take some action to her (whether it'll be within the laws of justice are unlikely, due to her coming home covered in blood and that she doesn't seem to care that much about murder). On the other hand, it could simply just be poor disposal of her father's tapes that Ayano accidentally stumbled upon. This could've been done for the reason of hiding them from Ayano and/or other students; or disposing them out of resentment towards her father, since they weren't close, though this one is the most basic and easiest reason to believe they're around. However, it could be that Info-Chan is just as psychotic as Ayano, and wishes to help her for her own personal benefit and finds entertainment watching her kill her rivals (again, this could've been the case as to why she came home covered in blood in the past). Either that, or she's simply using Ayano to embezzle cash for those pantie pictures and among other tasks to upgrade her computer setup or to swim in cash. here are my theiories after hearing those tapes.. 1- Ryoba and her husband went to America to track down the Journalist. Because at the 10th tape the Journalist said that he will travel to run away from Ryoba and also in Ryoba's 10th tape she said that she and her husband will travel to America to track down that Journalist. 2- Info chan is the Journalist's daughter. He said that she had a computer when she was young and in another tape the headmaster said that a mysterious person wanted a room in the school with many computers and she wants nobody trying to look at her in that room. I think she is doing this because she is mad about what Ryoba has done to her father and is trying to get revenge on both Ryoba and Ayano. So she is helping Ayano by trying to catch Ayano commit murder/do anything harmful to any girl that likes Taro so that she can go and tell the police about that and then Ryoba and Ayano would both be in jail for what happened and the Journalist and info chan will have victory.
In another tape, Ryoba said she is taking ayano’s father to America. To track someone down, and Ect. I think the reason Ayano’s parents is overseas is because of this.

story time Imagine Ayano being the journalist's real daughter. As a way to keep Ryoba from harming him, he lets her influence his daughter's life more than he should have. What if a side effect of the "Yandere Aishi" condition is not being able to give birth and people with this "condition" are scattered across Japan, and the Aishi's make it their priority to take in all these people and raise them under the Aishi name? The journalist places these tapes where Ayano could find them (though they could easily be for someone else but i like this better) and they tell her about the horrible things Ryoba has done. Ayano wouldn't have known and wouldn't have realized he was talking about Ryoba, or that she was the daughter that the journalist was talking about. i also imagine at the end of the game info-chan figures out her father is dead because of ryoba and takes it out on ayano and decides to absolutely RUIN ayano's life by leaking her and ryoba's secrets to the police. they get executed. info-chan takes senpai. the end.
Only 2 people I can really put together with the tapes are these 2 1)info-chan's father is the journalist and he was fighting with yandare's mother which makes quite sense 2)yandare is the daughter and the father was fighting someone with VERY similar acting like yandare's
I mean think about it. A long time ago (probably still today) in the old versions of Yan-Sim, info-chan mentioned that she was in some sort of newspaper club and journalism. But apparently no one really was interested in journalism anymore. So this is another reason why info-chan might be the journalist’s daughter. Quick thought: I think when Osana was going around the school for potential clubs she mentioned that the club that info-chan was in was no longer running or something? I don’t remember the whole details but it was something like that.
Guesses for who the daughter is: -Osoro (if you google it, a theory comes up about Osoro being the daughter.) Blood on clothes, scary -Nemesis (Always after Yandere Chan, seems to hate yandere chan, scary, blood on clothes -Info-Chan, Computers, (MAYBE she dislikes her father for abandoning her so she help Ayano because Ayano would be one of the people the journalist despises because Ayano is the result of Ryoba marrying Ayano's dad)

I have many theories (I don’t know if any of these have been confirmed or denied since this video came out, or in the 1980s mode) I think we’re all sure that info-chan is the journalist’s daughter, but what about her mom, he said that she was very possessive and would get jealous if another woman so much as looked at him, I think that info-chan is related to the Aishis, maybe her mom was a distant relative or something so she had the same condition as all the other Aishis, and everyone thinks that info-chan is just helping Ayano to avenge her dad, but what if it’s because they’re related, maybe info-chan has the same or a similar condition to Ayano and so she’s helping, it also says that the journalist was a bad father and doesn’t try to be in his daughter’s life a lot so maybe she’s trying to get revenge on her dad of sorts by helping the daughter of the girl who ruined his life, maybe she’s trying to help Ayano to get recognition some how, or maybe she might be doing to avenge her dad, but that seems too easy for me, and maybe the easiest option is the right or best one, but when the full game comes out, I hope that it is just PACKED FULL of lore and I would be very happy if one of my theories even came true, I also think that it would be very interesting if Ryoba killed the journalist in America and how info-chan would react. We also know that Ryoba had a sister who gave birth to a daughter the same year Ayano was born, I don’t think that Ryoba’s sister married the journalist because the timeline doesn’t match up, but I am VERY curious to know who Ayano’s cousin and aunt are and hope that it is explained later, I think it will be though because that seems like a very odd detail to add in for no reason, even if all of my theories end up being completely wrong and I’m just stupid, I’m very excited to see just how deep the lore of this game can get and I’m very excited to see more from this game in the future

Or they could be one in the same is the journos wife had cheated on him, making her the 'sister' of Mrs Saiko, who the school was built for, and confirming what Journo said about his wife just using him as something to have control over. Which begs the question what business did Ayono have with with Mr Saiko, was she just trying to get her daughter enrolled, or does she know about the affair and has blackmail about it? What school girl was she stalking? Was it own her daughter? The Journo would have mentioned a daughter if he knew about it, or her husband even since it was the boy of which she was stalking as a teen...

You know when the journalist mentioned his daughter, that "daughter might be info-chan , and the reason why she is helping ayano is because she was furious when she found out about what ryoba aishi did to her dad, and wanted to avenge her dad, Another intersting thing is that yandere dev showed us the sneakpeaks of the final game, and when ayano choses something harmless to eliminate her rival, info chan seems a bit suprised when ayano didnt kill her , instead of "suprised" what if she was mad? why? because if ayano chooses a harmful method ( ex: stabbing, crushed, s*icide) info chan will have MORE proof that she is a psychopath, and her mother will be exposed too, but if ayano chooses a harmful method
(ex: befriend, matchmake, rejection) she will have less proof, So, my point is, the ending depends on what sins you commit, if you harmfully eliminate your rival, info chan will betray you , ayano will be behind bars and will never have senpai . if you eliminate your rival in a harmless way, she will fail and you will have senpai, and just that, remember the rumors that at the end of the game you will fight info- chan, this might come true if you choose not to harm any of the rivals, you will now fight info chan because of that.

First up, someone in the comments say that the Journalist was Kokona's father, but I think it was incorrect. If you offer help Kokona, she didn't mention that her father was a journalist, and also Kokona's father stayed in Japan while the Journalist move out from Japan (as you can hear from the tapes). The girl who ruined the Journalist's career was Ryoba Aishi, aka Ayano's mother. The Journalist was the father of who we all know, Info-chan. It says that the journalist's daughter was always playing her computer. And that's when I believe his daughter was Info. Since the journalist was too focused to get his career back, he forgot to took care of Info. One of the tape says, that Info came back home with lots of blood in her body. Since her father don't want to get involved on Info's business, info thought he didn't care about her at all. Then she decided to make this "plan" That involved Ayano and her mother, still I don't really know what's her plan that she got. But what she didn't know, the journalist was actually cared for her, before he leave Japan.

I have a theory: The Journalist married a Yandere.
In tape 6, he mentions that he met a woman that as soon as they met, she wanted to spend every waking moment with him, wouldn’t let him out of her sight, and got possesive if another woman even looked at him. That’s pretty much all the evidence I have, but I just found it odd that YandereDev chose to have the journalist describe his wife with these sentences.

Remember the Fun Girl Easter Egg ( Jay from the Kubz Scouts upload it) she said that “In this universe, my father only had one daughter, she’ll never know she ever had a sister.” She also states “but the worse part is, is being forgotten.” Megami’s aunt had left the family business to search for “her sister” she believed she had. Fun girl also states “My universe is identical to this one....with one difference.” So what I’m getting out of this is that there are two different universe’s with the same people, but just different reality’s. The lore of this game is insane. I think the mysterious tapes is Ryoba (Yandere Chan’s mom) killing her rivals to confess to Yandere Chan’s dad and the basement tapes are about Ryoba and her husband going to America to track down the Journalist. When I first heard the mysterious tapes I thought the girl that the journalist was trying to get arrested was Info Chan, but now I think Info Chan is his daughter.

It’s interesting to consider that Ayano’s mother left the journalist alive as a loose thread. Why would she? Yes it’s a risk to kill him but it’s an even greater risk to let him live. Why wait for him to make the next move? Did meeting her husband make her soft and hesitant to kill? Or is there another pawn we aren’t made aware of yet? Or one we haven’t considered, like the journalist’s wife. From the way he describes her she sounds like a Yandere. In my mind it doesn’t sound too far fetched for a yandere to ruin someone’s life in order to make sure they’re completely dependent upon you. Or better yet get someone else to do it. Perhaps there was an arrangement in 1989 between Ryoba and Info-Chan’s mother much like the one between their daughters in the present.

Kaylah Hopkins I think it's related to Megami because Ryoba knows Megami's dad had a crush on her in 1989. And I think Ryoba's trying to use Megami's dad to get rid of Megami which is the hardest BY FAR to eliminate, so I think one of the methods to eliminate Megami is by Ayano's mum.
Ryoba has a younger sister and that sister married the journalist and they had a daughter together. And if their daughter is Info-Chan is that means that info-chan and Ayano are cousins.
I think I know the "plan" that info chan's, it's probably tricking Ayano to go murderer to get her senpai, and maybe info chan could expose her, then she probably would show all the evidence to the police. Since, she is a high computer hacker and knowing many secrets, she would know what her father had experienced in the past and to test it out to see if it is true.

Obviously the journalists daughter is NOT Kokona. Though maybe info-chan is a more convincing candidate. Remember, Kokona is a test rival. She is not a part of the final game. The evidence points more to Info-chan because of the fact that she is always on her computer. And Kokona says that her dad is still in Japan trying to pay off Musume-chan's father's loan.
-Maybe info’s Chan’s mom fell in love with him because he was the only one apart from her that knew the truth about ayano’s mom.
-And I think info-chan is only helping ayano to avenge her father from the fate that ayano’s mom caused.
Maybe this is why Info chan is helping Ayano... to get revenge for ruining his father's reputation? Just my theory though.

this lore is insane. i’m pretty sure he married ayano’s aunt, ryobas sister. if you look at the time stamps at the end of the game in 1980’s mode, ryoba’s sister finds her husband, and the journalist finds a wife at about the same time. and shortly after the journalist and his wife have a daughter. 1. from the way the journalist describes his wife she sounds like a yandere, which is a curse in the aishi bloodline. and 2. the journalists daughter sounds an awful lot like info chan. it has to be her. i mean think about it, why would i game developer put this in the game when it’s just a coincidence? info chan and ayano are cousins. the journalist also says that his daughter has a lot of money for her age and he’s afraid to know where it comes from, sometimes she comes home with blood etc. she has that much money because she’s in information broker. also, in the last basement tape ryoba announces that she and jokichi will go to america and when jokichi asks for how long, she says: “i don’t know depends how long it takes till i track him down”
Everyone is saying that he may be Info-Chans dad... and it probably is... but what about Kokona? Her Mom died, her Dad drinks, and lost a lot of money... either way you look at it it makes sence... just a thought. But it makes more sence for Info-Chan to be his daughter.

THEORY:
It’s most likely this is info-chan’s father. And when he says “she comes home with blood on her clothing” it’s clothes that yandere-chan swapped out for her own. (To get a clean uniform y’know). So the theory is: the reason info-chan “befriended” yandere-chan, was to sabotage her (in any way) at the end of the game, to possibly avenge her father (because it’s most likely Yandere-chan’s mum killed him). I know it seems hella far fetched af, but I kinda just figured that makes the most sense

After watching the true ending of 1980s mode.... it's so weird how the mother of info chan is set up...
It's possible that Ryobas sister is the mother of info chan. She gives birth to a daughter at the same time the journalist does, and the description sounds like an Aishi or Yandere of some kind... specifically someone with Ayanos condition.
But at the same time, other events dont line up. Ryobas sister marries her Senpai in 1994, but the journalist finds his lover in 2003 on the same timeline....
So it sounds right but not right...
Hello, I would just like to share a theory as to who this investigator is, I believe that this man is Info-Chan's father talking about Ayano's mother. I am aware that there isn't much evidence that it is Info-Chan's father but I would just like to share small information I caught up during the tapes. As of now, we don't really know much about Info-Chan, but from 10:50-11:10, the investigator says that his daughter spends a lot of her time on the computer, as well as that his daughter somehow has a lot of money on her - this links to Info-Chan as she spends most of her time on the computer and trades with Ayano in game. Another clue is that at some points after school, she comes home covered in blood, I think that this information is about Info-Chan covering a murder performed by Ayano which explains why she would've been covered in blood when coming home, this also links her in mission mode as she is the tutorial in the mission and yet somehow knows how to cover a murder in general. This is just a small theory I have just come up with, you all don't have to agree with me, but I thought I'd share this. Thanks you 😊
I really like this theory, it seems to make sense. The only thing I would question is why info-Chan would help Ayano. Yes, she gets money out of the pantie shots but that’s about it I think. Isn’t it weird that in the beginning of the game she texted ayano and already knew her intentions? She must know about her mom’s case in 1989 or something. If info Chan is his daughter, then why would Info Chan help the daughter of a person that ruined her father’s career?
@@bangtansugay5021 I believe that Info-Chan is probably helping Ayano to study her behaviour and learn more of her family history out of sheer curiosity/fascination. Or that she's planning some kind of revenge on Ayano for her father and his years of self-deprecation, and, as a result, would probably try to use what information she's gathered on Ayano and her antics as evidence against, not just Ayano, but also her mother as some kind of influence to her and to finally bring them to justice (if possible); in other words, some kind of betrayal/revenge scheme.
The fact that these tapes are around the school grounds, could indicate that Info-Chan has listened to these tapes and purposely scattered them across the school grounds to either: A) - a warning to Ayano, to let her know of what has occurred to her family's past and that history could repeat if she's not careful which could end very differently to her mother.
B) - an indirect threat to Ayano, to warn her that Info-Chan is on to her, and to inform Ayano of what her father's past intentions (also career) was and that she's planning to take some action to her (whether it'll be within the laws of justice are unlikely, due to her coming home covered in blood and that she doesn't seem to care that much about murder).
On the other hand, it could simply just be poor disposal of her father's tapes that Ayano accidentally stumbled upon. This could've been done for the reason of hiding them from Ayano and/or other students; or disposing them out of resentment towards her father, since they weren't close, though this one is the most basic and easiest reason to believe they're around. However, it could be that Info-Chan is just as psychotic as Ayano, and wishes to help her for her own personal benefit and finds entertainment watching her kill her rivals (again, this could've been the case as to why she came home covered in blood in the past).
Either that, or she's simply using Ayano to embezzle cash for those pantie pictures and among other tasks to upgrade her computer setup or to swim in cash. I don't know, this is probably a poor extension to this theory right here, but I'd thought I'd share this out of interest. 🤟😉

here are my theiories after hearing those tapes..
1- Ryoba and her husband went to America to track down the Journalist. Because at the 10th tape the Journalist said that he will travel to run away from Ryoba and also in Ryoba's 10th tape she said that she and her husband will travel to America to track down that Journalist.
2- Info chan is the Journalist's daughter. He said that she had a computer when she was young and in another tape the headmaster said that a mysterious person wanted a room in the school with many computers and she wants nobody trying to look at her in that room. I think she is doing this because she is mad about what Ryoba has done to her father and is trying to get revenge on both Ryoba and Ayano. So she is helping Ayano by trying to catch Ayano commit murder/do anything harmful to any girl that likes Taro so that she can go and tell the police about that and then Ryoba and Ayano would both be in jail for what happened and the Journalist and info chan will have victory.
In another tape, Ryoba said she is taking ayano’s father to America. To track someone down, and Ect. I think the reason Ayano’s parents is overseas is because of this.

Use the mod "1980's mod" It will explain everything. You will be playing as Ryoba Aishi, AKA Ayano's mother. If you don't wanna do the mod then just go to Laurenside 1980's mod in her yt channel or other youtubers channel. It's a really interesting story.

Imagine Ayano being the journalist's real daughter. As a way to keep Ryoba from harming him, he lets her influence his daughter's life more than he should have. What if a side effect of the "Yandere Aishi" condition is not being able to give birth and people with this "condition" are scattered across Japan, and the Aishi's make it their priority to take in all these people and raise them under the Aishi name? So when Ryoba finds out the journalist that she threatened in 89 has a child with this condition, she makes him give her the child? The journalist places these tapes where Ayano could find them (though they could easily be for someone else but i like this better) and they tell her about the horrible things Ryoba has done. Ayano wouldn't have known and wouldn't have realized he was talking about Ryoba, or that she was the daughter that the journalist was talking about.
i also imagine at the end of the game info-chan figures out her father is dead because of ryoba and takes it out on ayano and decides to absolutely RUIN ayano's life by leaking her and ryoba's secrets to the police. they get executed. info-chan takes senpai. the end.

I mean think about it. A long time ago (probably still today) in the old versions of Yan-Sim, info-chan mentioned that she was in some sort of newspaper club and journalism. But apparently no one really was interested in journalism anymore. So this is another reason why info-chan might be the journalist’s daughter. Quick thought: I think when Osana was going around the school for potential clubs she mentioned that the club that info-chan was in was no longer running or something? I don’t remember the whole details but it was something like that.
Guesses for who the daughter is:
-Osoro (if you google it, a theory comes up about Osoro being the daughter.) Blood on clothes, scary
-Nemesis (Always after Yandere Chan, seems to hate yandere chan, scary, blood on clothes
-Info-Chan, Computers, (MAYBE she dislikes her father for abandoning her so she help Ayano because Ayano would be one of the people the journalist despises because Ayano is the result of Ryoba marrying Ayano's dad)

I have many theories (I don’t know if any of these have been confirmed or denied since this video came out, or in the 1980s mode) I think we’re all sure that info-chan is the journalist’s daughter, but what about her mom, he said that she was very possessive and would get jealous if another woman so much as looked at him, I think that info-chan is related to the Aishis, maybe her mom was a distant relative or something so she had the same condition as all the other Aishis, and everyone thinks that info-chan is just helping Ayano to avenge her dad, but what if it’s because they’re related, maybe info-chan has the same or a similar condition to Ayano and so she’s helping, it also says that the journalist was a bad father and doesn’t try to be in his daughter’s life a lot so maybe she’s trying to get revenge on her dad of sorts by helping the daughter of the girl who ruined his life, maybe she’s trying to help Ayano to get recognition some how, or maybe she might be doing to avenge her dad, but that seems too easy for me, and maybe the easiest option is the right or best one, but when the full game comes out, I hope that it is just PACKED FULL of lore and I would be very happy if one of my theories even came true, I also think that it would be very interesting if Ryoba killed the journalist in America and how info-chan would react. We also know that Ryoba had a sister who gave birth to a daughter the same year Ayano was born, I don’t think that Ryoba’s sister married the journalist because the timeline doesn’t match up, but I am VERY curious to know who Ayano’s cousin and aunt are and hope that it is explained later, I think it will be though because that seems like a very odd detail to add in for no reason, even if all of my theories end up being completely wrong and I’m just stupid, I’m very excited to see just how deep the lore of this game can get and I’m very excited to see more from this game in the future
So then info-chan might me the journalists daughter or Mr.Saikoi's daughter... Or they could be one in the same is the journos wife had cheated on him, making her the 'sister' of Mrs Saiko, who the school was built for, and confirming what Journo said about his wife just using him as something to have control over.
Which begs the question what business did Ayono have with with Mr Saiko, was she just trying to get her daughter enrolled, or does she know about the affair and has blackmail about it? What school girl was she stalking? Was it own her daughter? The Journo would have mentioned a daughter if he knew about it, or her husband even since it was the boy of which she was stalking as a teen...
