- Today I show you how to make “Magic Water”! Which is a natural immune boosting, water mixture for your chickens!
Magic Water
1 1/2 gallon mason jar with chick waterer
2 heaping teaspoonfuls minced garlic
1/8 cup raw local honey
~1/4 cup raw Apple cider vinegar
Thank you for sharing! Made some for mine right along with you!
Thank you! 🥳We make our own raw apple cider vinegar by chopping up apples and covering them in ACV and allowing it to sit for a month.
Thanks for sharing. I’ve always added a ACV to my chick water but now I’m going to go make some magic water for them.
Very useful
Thanks 😊
Thanks! Aloha
Thank you for watching all the way in Hawaii!
1/8 a cup is equal to 2 Tablespoons.
If making the night before should it be put in the fridge
Your description says 1 1/2 gallon but video says 1/2 cup which I think is what you meant
I will be getting 15 chicks. Seems like a half gallon would be a lot for one day? I've heard that I should put out "fresh" water daily. Does that apply to magic water too?
Does the magic water need to be refrigerated?
Awesome job. But please don't okay music whine your talking.
Does this help with sour/impacted crops?
I honestly don’t know? I don’t think it would hurt to try.
We do first flashing of chicks with this magic water?
We typically give this to them for the first couple of weeks and then give them plain freshwater.
Can you just list your recipe will be very helpful. Vinaka..
The recipe should be in the description. Thank you for watching!
Can you give this grown chickens who are unwell?
Absolutely!
Great video. That honey looks like molasses lol
We buy a dark wildflower honey locally, haha
Everyday I will give them?!..
We typically give this to them for the first couple of weeks and then switch to plain water.
ACV inhibits calcium absorption. That's a no. Too much garlic will cause anemia
