As an ex paramedic working in rural areas these Phostoxin (Phosphine) tablets were sadly used by farmers who could see no way out of the troubles they faced. I know first hand how very dangerous they are to the extent that when a patient had ingested one we needed to transport them in an open vehicle to get them to hospital but alerting the hospital what was coming as it's as he said EXTREMELY Dangerous! Just don't use it

I found two queens in my hive that the waxmoths had gotten into.

People keep recommending putting them somewhere light, or even leaving them sitting beside the hive which makes absolutely no sense to me because they come out at dark at my house ,actually in the evening right before it gets dark. You leave a frame out even if it's honey frame and not brood, and they WILL annihilate it, guaranteed, first night ...Guaranteed every time, I don't know why this fallacy is being spread and besides that they're attracted to my porch light

You mentioned using cold to kill the larva. I live in Kansas. It frequently gets down below freezing. When you said "minus" temperatures did you mean minus Fahrenheit or Centigrade?
Would exposing unused frames to super cold outside temperatures for a day in winter be adequate for control if the frames are then immediately put in plastic bags?
