for some one who i thought was a bit of a bellend during his club career, Bellamy on sky is genuinely second to none. Really insightful analyst who talks alot of common sense.

He's grown as a pundit. He still talks rubbish occasionally, but it helps when you're put in a room and sat next to intellectual powerhouses like Tim Sherwood and Paul Merson.

Ethan Ampadu is the future of Welsh football, from his first game at Chelsea, he was marshalling the midfield ahead of him. He is like a JT, born leader and a real talent off as well as on the ball. If Chelsea for whatever reason give him a chance, he will be a world beater

Some great attacking talent coming through but the defence and defensive midfield is a real worry in my opinion
Connor roberts RB and Joe rodon from Swansea and James Chester CB Been Davies LB with ampadu and Allen holding. That is more that good enough to be top 20 team in the world
Ham is Rodriguez I take your point but most of those players are playing the championship. Joe Allen isn’t the player he was 2 years ago and needs to be playing at a higher level. Ampadu is a great talent but has a lot of developing to do and needs to be playing regularly. Also what worries me more than anything is how vulnerable the defence has looked in the last few games and we’re not getting much control in centre midfield. We looked good against Ireland but they’re a poor side. Against quality opposition like Denmark and Spain we looked very vulnerable.

Dose mean so much to us welsh who have followed the team since we were old enough to understand. We are just happy to compete and see better days. Get behind the team have a sing song and see fellow Welsh men and ladies or supporters of the national side have the buzzing feeling. R.I.P Gary Speed you will live long in the memory of welsh football.
I still say Bellamy should have been made Wales manager.
And people need to be keeping an eye on Rhys Healey. He needs to be playing in a better team.

@@andrewgraham4510 - As opposed to Ryan Giggs..? Bellamy has more experience working with youth teams than Ryan's few games in charge of United as an interim.
@@TyrannosavageRekt He was a number 2 to Van Gaal. Bellamy has not managed first team football.
@@andrewgraham4510 - Neither had Giggs. Being number 2 is not the same thing as managing. Bellamy has been doing lots of work with academy players over the last four years. Just because they aren't playing at senior level or in the Premier League doesn't mean he isn't getting experience.
Talking about Bale international retirement all ready Sky Sports??? He's only like 29 year's old still has maybe 2/3 years to go.
It's a fair point. He will be done either after the Euro or World Cup. That means within the next few years their next generation of talent has to be set up and ready to improve on where the national team is.
Things go by quite fast in this respect, it's not a club where you're always with them.
Injury proneness can only get worse from here and his track record isn't great

Wales have a great pool of talent. The best we’ve had in a long time. Those you mentioned plus Daniel James, Chris Mepham, Declan John, Tom Lawrence, Reagan Poole, Connor Roberts
@@anj1982crj Depends what you mean by 'great' I suppose. Good I'd say, not great. England have great young talent (Sancho, Nelson, Foden etc), not Wales. Those young players are levels above any player you mentioned.
Brooks in Bournmouth looks promising. But Bale is a unique player. Like asking who is going to take over from Cristiano Ronaldo in the Portugal national team.
This interview really makes me think that Bellamy should be manager at some point for Wales, obviously a great player and right now Page looks favourite but one day soon, Bellamy for manager
Bellamy has too much of a temper. He got fired by Cardiff because of it when he was youth coach.

It's such a shame to look back at 5 year old comments. Jarrod Bowen would've been a great one to get called up while young and have his international hands tied to Wales.

Wales have a great future ahead of them, but I don't believe they have a ''present'' to begin with, with Gareth Bale specifically. He did well to take them to the Euro 16 semis but other than that he has not done much for Wales in my opinion. I remember him having to sit out against Northern Ireland in the final qualifier match for the WC because of his injuries. They went on to lose and not qualify. He's a great player but I think lack of ability to stay fit during important moments will always taint his legacy in the national team.
It's great to look back at old comments and see that some people were calling it correctly from the past. 👍🏽🏴
