    Does the SD card overwrite when full or do you have to reformat or erase it when full? Thanks. Nice video.

    I missed the part where you can retrieve your recordings? Do you have to pay a fee? Does it it have a built-in GPS?

    You're defeating the purpose of the parking mode settings to not use the accelerometer using the cigarette plug. You need to use the three wire plug with ACC wire.

    • @DroppinGearz
      @DroppinGearz  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The set up is on a ACC. It works how it’s supposed to.

    When you grounded to that bolt in engine bay, did you have any issues? I am installing the same setup in my car, but the ground ring blackvue includes is far too small to fit on that ground bolt. Curious if you had the same issue?

    • @DroppinGearz
      @DroppinGearz  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t remember right now. I think I might have cut the ring to open.

      I’m planning on buying this dashcam too, so I’ve been watching some videos and I saw one of them said the same thing, but they just placed the little metal ring on the side of the bolt, and tighten it up more. Maybe you can do it like that too

    My question is how long does that battery last with the car off when it is well charged?

    • @DroppinGearz
      @DroppinGearz  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hours. Never dies while parked during the day and at night it records for hours while in the garage. I have never checked how many hours to be exact because it’s inside. Will have to check.

    For the love of god, nobody follow what this guy just did. Never run a cable to your engine bay’s fuse box like that, as a matter of fact, there’s absolutely no reason why a battery pack that requires less than 20A get power from the engine bay fuse box.
    There’s an interior fuse box for a reason, tap into that.
    He used up his glove box space, left an ugly mess with the cables, exposed the cable to the engine with no protection whatsoever.
    Don’t tuck in your cables in between your trim panels, you most likely have airbags that you’re putting the cables in front of.
    So many other things to point out, but I have lost hope for these DIY TH-cam videos.

      The interior fuse box on these cars is in the trunk and they are all live from the battery. The cables were ran through the trim edges and corners around anything that is underneath. EVERYBODY powers a hole bunch of stuff from the engine bay fuse box unless you go with a switch. The cable in the engine bay is away from heat or anything else. If you noticed there were cables for other stuff routed a different way with wire sleeves. I don’t see the issue 🤷🏻‍♂️

      @@DroppinGearz That’s not an issue, trunk or near the driver side door, all it means is one cable has to be longer.
      There’s usually always one circuit that turns off when the car is off such as F10, F17, F19, or F33. - 2019 Camaro
      Notice how your cables are routed compared to the factory cables, your cable is exposed behind the door as well as in the engine bay.
      Doesn’t matter where in the engine bay you route cables, it will get hot in there and potentially melt your cable insulation or severely shorten its lifespan without the proper protection.

      @@im_sarge_bro4542 Hey, I've been trying to find someone that has routed theirs to the trunk.. but I didn't think there were any good fuses to use in that one. Which ones should I use?? F10 for Accessory and which fuse do I use for Battery all time use?? Please let me know Im new to this lol. Also not sure where Ill put my ground wire yet. Let me know if you've done it before.

    • @im_sarge_bro4542
      @im_sarge_bro4542 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It varies by the vehicle, you'll just have to use a multimeter and verify yourself. There should be a place where all the ground wires are connected to under one nut near the fuse box. If not, you can use any nearby bolt and a crimp on terminal to obtain a good ground. @@siccbet449
