I've been using this for my hyperpigmentation since pandemic. There's no fast result, but I can see a difference after 2 to 3 weeks. I pair with azelaic acid serum in the evening. Hopefully they come up with another serum that focuses on Vitamin C derivative with at least 10% strength with another Tyrosinase inhibitors. SKIN1004 products barely misses.
Rob, have you tried Beauty of Joseon's Rice + Alpha Arbutin Glow serum? It's divine! Also contains niacinamide and fades hyperpigmentation quite quickly. I love how hydrating and soothing it feels on the skin ❤❤
I started to watch you channel, and subscribed during lockdown. I have been trying to help my 13 (almost 14) year old son with his breakout prone skin. I have always had really dry skin, and my older daughters have never really been breakout prone, but I have watched and learnt things to help him. I also use your sunscreen, which my son also likes. This morning he asks me "Do you know Mad About Skin? I'm subscribed to him! I told him "yes, I watch him all the time, and the sunscreen that you like is his brand". Rob, I love you, but, I am dizzy with the Holy Grails-I just got Vitamin 5+! Still working on my Vegreen Vit Campoule, and have a bottle of G&G Vit C in the fridge! My husband is losing his mind with the products taking over the bathroom. And, when push comes to shove Tretinoin is still my Holy Grail, even with it’s issues. But, I will still probably buy this😂

I am going to have to get that next…I currently use a melazapam cream that has 20% azaleic acid that burns too much (non-prescription bought off amazon) but when that’s finished up I am going to purchase the MAS super serum.
I wasn't able to get this serum anywhere so I got a facetheory one instead with similar ingredients - the Exaglow serum. Paired with their Polypep collagen boosting serum you recommended - been about 3 weeks now and I can definitely see an improvement in my hyperpigmentation so would recommend as an alternative x

i love it.....been a week, no scent no sting no burning. but clear bright skin. using their face wash and brown cream too. just love it. only the nozzle slips if my fingers are wet and the bottle is plastic not glass and a little tight to pull out the dopper but results fab.
So happy you have finally reviewed this product. It has been one of my holy grails for over a year. I absolutely love it!! People actually commented on the brightness of my skin when I started using this. I use it at night now as I use the Numbuzin 5 serum in the am as I feel it has a higher amount of Vitamin C that my skin can actually tolerate. Love you❤

I'd seen this when I purchased the other Skin1004 Ampoule with the peptides (Pore Minimizing) you'd recommended a month ago or so. I need brightening so I thought why not! So I bought it. Now I use the Poe Minimizing with the peptides ampoule along with my Gleek & Georgeous Vitamin C in the morning and this one in the evening with my Gleek & Gorgeous Retinal and especially on my chest where I do have hyperpigmentation. It's working! The velvety feel of my skin immediately after is amazing. i'm so happy with these products. And I'd gotten their water gel SPF (and i have yours!) and it too is amazing.
Hi Rob, the ampoule sounds like a great product! I’m currently using the MAS serum and antioxidant serum, followed by a sunscreen in the morning. Might add this serum to the routine to truly tick all boxes of brightening ingredients

Hi Rob, Love your channel! I was wondering if you could do a video on a skin care routine for a teen boy with acne, considering shaving. My son is 16 and has some acne and slightly oily skin. He doesn't like to listen to me and isn't into skincare or grooming. He only needs to shave every few days, but it would be helpful to know what to put on his skin after shaving, the best cleanser, etc. He needs a simple routine that he'll actually follow. Thanks for any advice you can offer. P.S. I've been using Ole Hendrickson's Strength Trainer moisturizer ever since you recommended it in a video you did on peptides. I love it!
I wish my mom tried to make me take skincare seriously when I was sixteen But as someone with oily skin as well I say simple effective stuff for now since he is still young I would suggest CereVa oily skin cleanser n lotion with super goop unseen sunscreen.. super simple shouldn’t clog his pores n effective Ps: myself use cereva face lotion n super goop sunscreen but as I’m older I use more advanced stuff for my skin but he is young so no need to overdo it for now Also if he wets shaves hopefully he is using a safety razor n not a plastic one 🥲🥲
James Welsh got me onto Skin 1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule about 2 years ago and I absolutely love it. I use it once or twice a from October to April. I might give this a go too then. I'm guessing I'd use this instead of the Centella Ampoule, not as well as. I'm excited

I love you Rob but my brain. Can't get past how quickly you say you go through products. Even applied "lavishly" no way you can get through 100ml of serum in 6 weeks. Even applying twice a day it takes months to get through 30ml nevermind 100ml (and that's with me appling on my neck and chest also aand i mean right onto the lady lumps too not just the décolleté and they're Ecups, so a lot of skin to cover 🙈)
I recently got through 2x 50ml serums in a month. I applied generous amount and up to 3 times a day. I know it seems wasteful but it really helped me fade severe post acne hyperpigmentation within a month. There’s almost nothing left of the dark spots that were spread across my cheeks and chin, so it was worth it.
Yes! From last year's November to May this year I managed to finish one bottle of 60 ml of serum. Face, neck, decollete and the beginning of my tatas 😂
I think it also depends where you live. I live in a more subtropical region most of the year and it'll take me 4 months to go through a serum. Then I moved to a drier climate and the same serum only lasts me 2 months. Same for moisturisers.
Hi Rob! Just started using the Numbuzin - so far so good. Trying to find my right Tranexamic acid serum after trying Allies (no longer available in the UK) and Regimen Lab level (couldn't stand the packaging!). I've got the Skin1004 ampoule and the cream in this line that also has Tranexamic acid in. RNW niacinamide serum and blanc shining toner and emulsion all have Tranexamic acid in too - so have got those all on order. All fragrance free and seem to have some lovely accompanying ingredients. Anyone used them? Can't find any TH-camr talking of them. But to me they sound awesome!

Dang it! I found out the hard way im allergic to something in the madagascar centella serum. My dace went bright red and was on fire. Really gutted, because i was so looking forward to something brightening and gentle😢.
I have bought this earlier and i am currently using this again, (my second bottle) so far it is really nice, but for stubborn melasma on The upperlip it doesnt do much. The rest of my face i do see diffrence☺️

Wondering the same thing… I use Timeless Vita C and have only been using this product for about a week as the second step in my skincare routine. My skin started getting irritated. I’m glad I watched this video- I didn’t realize this also had vita C, so that’s probably my problem. I’m going to back off on my Timeless, and just use this for a month to see what I think.👍🏻

I think numbuzin is quicker to work but skin1004 is more gentle and also easier to get hold of so it will all come down to personal preference.. love x

I am confused! It was launched quite a while ago! I mentioned it in the comments before when tranexamic acid came up. The only issue for some here is that it's 4% niacinamide, and you know how it is with everything having niacinamide in these days! 😂 But yeah, great product. I also found it works really well on the red stretch marks people with EDS get when losing weight. It's crazy good value for the quantity.

I would suggest CereVa oily skin cleanser n lotion with super goop unseen sunscreen.. super simple shouldn’t clog his pores n effective
Ps: myself use cereva face lotion n super goop sunscreen but as I’m older I use more advanced stuff for my skin but he is young so no need to overdo it for now
Also if he wets shaves hopefully he is using a safety razor n not a plastic one 🥲🥲

James Welsh got me onto Skin 1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule about 2 years ago and I absolutely love it. I use it once or twice a from October to April. I might give this a go too then. I'm guessing I'd use this instead of the Centella Ampoule, not as well as. I'm excited

I love you Rob but my brain. Can't get past how quickly you say you go through products. Even applied "lavishly" no way you can get through 100ml of serum in 6 weeks. Even applying twice a day it takes months to get through 30ml nevermind 100ml (and that's with me appling on my neck and chest also aand i mean right onto the lady lumps too not just the décolleté and they're Ecups, so a lot of skin to cover 🙈)
I recently got through 2x 50ml serums in a month. I applied generous amount and up to 3 times a day. I know it seems wasteful but it really helped me fade severe post acne hyperpigmentation within a month. There’s almost nothing left of the dark spots that were spread across my cheeks and chin, so it was worth it.
Yes! From last year's November to May this year I managed to finish one bottle of 60 ml of serum. Face, neck, decollete and the beginning of my tatas 😂

I think it also depends where you live. I live in a more subtropical region most of the year and it'll take me 4 months to go through a serum. Then I moved to a drier climate and the same serum only lasts me 2 months. Same for moisturisers.

Hi Rob! Just started using the Numbuzin - so far so good. Trying to find my right Tranexamic acid serum after trying Allies (no longer available in the UK) and Regimen Lab level (couldn't stand the packaging!). I've got the Skin1004 ampoule and the cream in this line that also has Tranexamic acid in. RNW niacinamide serum and blanc shining toner and emulsion all have Tranexamic acid in too - so have got those all on order. All fragrance free and seem to have some lovely accompanying ingredients. Anyone used them? Can't find any TH-camr talking of them. But to me they sound awesome!

Dang it! I found out the hard way im allergic to something in the madagascar centella serum. My dace went bright red and was on fire. Really gutted, because i was so looking forward to something brightening and gentle😢.
I have bought this earlier and i am currently using this again, (my second bottle) so far it is really nice, but for stubborn melasma on The upperlip it doesnt do much. The rest of my face i do see diffrence☺️

Wondering the same thing… I use Timeless Vita C and have only been using this product for about a week as the second step in my skincare routine. My skin started getting irritated. I’m glad I watched this video- I didn’t realize this also had vita C, so that’s probably my problem. I’m going to back off on my Timeless, and just use this for a month to see what I think.👍🏻

They were on sale at the start of summer so I added two bottles to my shopping cart. I absolutely adore it. I have melasma, and even tho I use other stronger ingredients like hydroquinone this is my go to serum. I use it every day in the morning. Its specially useful for those months when I can't use hydroquinone. 🎉

I think numbuzin is quicker to work but skin1004 is more gentle and also easier to get hold of so it will all come down to personal preference.. love x

I am confused! It was launched quite a while ago! I mentioned it in the comments before when tranexamic acid came up.
The only issue for some here is that it's 4% niacinamide, and you know how it is with everything having niacinamide in these days! 😂
But yeah, great product. I also found it works really well on the red stretch marks people with EDS get when losing weight. It's crazy good value for the quantity.
