It was fun many years ago when I first attended. Now I actually have a gyroplane of my own and it will likely never see a Bensen Day event! Don't ask if u don't want to know!
I did try, unfortunately it was run into the ground. However now that certain elements are gone from this earth maybe the event will be run with zest and zeal instead of angst by the event planners and organizers and they won't quit in the middle of the event. I was a fully fledged Sunstate member and not an experience I want to have again.What is the current status of Sunstate Rotor and Wing club? ........... It's defunct! But hey, go check it out everyone, decide for yourself. Maybe I will do a fly by without landing this year.
I am not familiar with Sunstate… and for the last few years i have had a fantastic time during Bensen Days… that is why i keep coming back and encouraging others to visit…
@@lagyro Likely due to fact of Sunstate Wing & Rotor Club being defunct. I was so unimpressed with the leadership cept one year out of 3 I attended it has caused me to stay away even though I am only a few hours away. Just to be clear...Not attempting to diminish your experiences. Pointing out my disappointments in recent yrs. past.
In my opinion, you should visit Bensen Days as an outsider, see what gyros are displayed, talk to people who have nothing to do with the organizers… if that’s your kind of thing… By the way, i have many good friends pilots who couldn’t care less about participating in fly ins…
Gyroplanes are rotorcraft, and as such they have some inherent vibrations present at all times. How much vibrations are tolerable is a constant argument. That being said, you should keep in mind that videos as this one are not a good way to identify bad vibrations... in previous videos I have mentioned the argument as to why videos shot with action cams are not a good tool for that purpose.
No music please! The motor sound and the blades are the true musik...😂😂 Maby the Communication on the radio is o.k. too..
