Is it just me, or is the Pikmin Community full of brilliantly talented animators.
We’ve been having to create our own content for 10-year interims between each game.
@voidtv8401 10 long years, to be exact. I can see that the Pikmin Community deserves these high-quality animators and meme creators. This community just continues to amaze me as it grows every day.

I love how the recruit and otchi bounce a little whenever long legs stomps the ground while olimar and the pikmins are completely unaffected.

Easily the best surprising boss in this game
The most surprising moment outright- it actually felt like something pre-Wii era Nintendo would have done, back when they had more wacky creative vision.
Video is already 10/10, but with the quick cuts from vibing pikmin to leafmar throwing it back always gets me even tho i know it happens. 11/10

The fact groovy long legs doesn't move to different parts of the arena as fast means the pikmin could probably have a long party before needing to go back so they don't get crushed

It makes me curious if the pikmin met Groovy long legs before the game. They sing the duration of the fight, and groovy long legs doesnt step on pikmin that are dancing.
If the captains werent here the pikmin would probably be in a symbiotic relationship with Groovy. The pikmin jump into the air while dancing (they cant usually do that) so if groovy were to just lower himself down the pikmin would easily jump to reach him. But again, if the captains werent here, they would be working together. Non-flying Pikmin could hold onto him at night. The bright lights of groovy attract pikmin, but creatures with large eyes like bulborbs would likey be dazzled and stunned or infatuated with pretty colors, making them easy prey for jumpy, amped up pikmin.
When I first encountered this boss, I was just absolutely amused. The bopping music, the way the boss stomps in sync with the music, it became one of my favorite boss battles of all time. And I honestly wish that Pikmin 4 had more long legged bosses like in the older games.

I love this the claymations adorable. But come to think of it, this is one of the scariest enemys, not because ist particularly threatening, but because it really brings your guard down, and this animation is the perfect example of that.

The textures of the pikmin and captains being imprinted with fingerprints adds so much charm and it also just works really well, loved it!

This is truly accurate to how I felt fighting this boss. The theme is straight up fire. Also, Leafling Olimar knows what's up.
