I'm not black, but I live in the hood. South Central Los Angeles. The threat ain't as big as people make it out to be, most people who get killed had ties to gang culture and the others are just unlucky. At the corner of my block a young girl was killed by a stray bullet back when I was in elementary, when I was in middle school a barber at the same corner was found dead in his underwear with stab wounds and just last year some guy who had barely gotten out of juvy was shot and killed while in his car across the street from the elementary I used to go to. The danger is real, but just mind your own business and don't cause troubles to other, nor look like you mean trouble.
