So I just started riding bikes and my first box bike is ordered and on its way in 2 weeks. I’m tryna learn as much as I can about box bikes and watching ur videos when ur cruising around LA, It’s just so nice and satisfying and it feels like I’m riding the bike aswel idk how

Mini bikes and Compton just go together. We used to work on one guys engine, they don't play. They drop serious funds on these things. Some are built for big money races. Some of those things will hit 100+.

I grew up in the late 80s and 90 in this place, we were the only Mexicans on Skateboards in this area. A few times we got jack or try to get jack by our skateboards but that didn't stop up from Skating. I live on 50st. between Central and Hopper.

John, I definitely feel the same way about sidewalk riding as opposed to having to be forced to ride on the bike lanes sharing the dangerous roads with distracted and entitled drivers. I dont understand why most places around the world have designated bike lanes right beside regular car lanes on the same road. Its simply not safe.

last thursday i was riding my electric skateboard doing 30mph on bike lane, car on the side didnt see me and turned into his house right in front of me, i smashed his passenger door at 30mph lol. atm i didnt feel anything hurt, but the next day i can barely get out of bed being so sore

John Hicks --- I grew up and lived most of my early life on the border of LA and Inglewood. Two blocks over from my house is Inglewood. About a mile from City Hall and Inglewood High School.
I had friends i grew up with that I played sports with and went to school with and ditched school with to get high that lived in Inglewood, Crenshaw, Baldwin Hills, Windsor Hills, Leimert Park, Hyde Park, down in Morningside Park, South LA. My friends and I would ride our bikes or skateboards from where we lived at Florence and Manchester east down Florence or Manchester , Imperial, Century, Slauson all the way to Watts sometimes. Always getting weird looks from the people in those neighborhoods wondering what these 12 , 13, 14 year old white boys were doing in the hood. The cops would stop us asking what the Hell are you doing down here? Hahahahaha
Now my brother and I live in Westlake District of Downtown LA two blocks West of the 110 and between the 10 and 101 a mike from Echo Park Lake and East of Alvarado and Mac Aurther Park and its lake. We're two of maybe a dozen white people who live in that neighborhood. And four are homeless hahahaha. We're only three blocks from Rampart Division LAPD Station. We are the older white dudes that all the homies know. The OGs that the Rockwood clique knows are down and not to targets. LOL.

The reason LAPD gives you a certain look when you ride by them with a gopro. They think you are a cop watcher or someone who records police to hold them accountable with their interactions with regular people. Just my opinion.

I used to drive trucks in the late 80s. Compton was no place for a white boy when the sun went down. Even during the daytime, I had one eye looking over my shoulder. I made my drops and got the f*** outta there. Lol.
