Just picked up my SRBS inconel full size this morning. As soon as the compacts drop Im going to pick one of them up mas well. I think these are the best value going at this time for what you get. The fact that its half price of the RC3 and performs better should be a no brainer for folks. On top of that B&T's mount design is superior as well. I have heard they originally designed the mount and that makes sense because Surefire wouldn't just let them produce their own version of it. Thanks for the video gentlemen.
@maze1914 THATS A HOSS. We had a Compact 762 Rbs for a while. I wish we kept it for a belt fed. Sound was interesting. It sounded like a Gun shot. But with the Volume turned waaaaay down. At first I didn't think I'd like it, then took off my ear pro and realized I was 5ft behind a 308 gun with no hearing discomfort. But I will admit. That series was Heavy. I'd really like to see how many rounds it can handle cyclic before popping though.
If you have the Compact…Is there a huge sound difference in the SRBS full size and the SRBS Compact? Don’t think I’m interested in the full size based on length and weight, but if the Compact is noticeably louder, I may consider the full.
@ thanks. Last question since I’m down to my final decision. I for sure want the Inconel compact. Would it be redundant to get the full size SRBS 556 Ti if I plan to get the SRBS 762 Ti for a general use on .308, 6mm ARC, .300 blackout and 5.56 ARs? I’d assume the 7.62 sounds about the same as the full size SRBS 5.56 on 5.56 ARs? Seems the specs are identical just a larger bore obviously.
@JGoodZX6R I'm not sure how the 762 performs on 556. I do have the slab side 762's which are lighter, and inconel. Again, I'd really suggest against putting ti on a semi gun. It's just too easy to heat up. But, if that's what you really would like, I'd say it doesnt make much sense for the 762 on 556 if you have the 556 compact. And RBS style (flow whatever) work best with higher pressures at the muzzle. 300blk subs would benefit more from a standard style, like the rotex series, then they would with any reduced pressure design (if youre looking for "hollywood" quiet)
@PS-cc4hm so if you begin to really get the suppressor cooking, it will begin to turn a light fde almost bronze ish color. We need to test it more, but we did heat one up, and poured a little water on it to cool it faster, and it appeared to remove that fde color. I'm not sure if that's an everytime thing or not. But so far it seems like that color can be removed if you would like to. Personally I love the fde ish color they change.
