Notice..not one cuss word..he didn't need to use 'em because with his nervous ticks, bulging eyes, New York accent and funny delivery it was more than enough to leave your face sides sore from laughing!!
One of my favorite Rodney jokes was on a Carson appearance, he said: Johnny, people got the wrong impression of me. They think all I do is get drunk and go to the track. That's just not the case. Johnny says: they're wrong about that? Rodney says, of course they are. I get high first then I get drunk and go to the track. 🙂
I've loved Rodney Dangerfield for a very long time and remember some of these Tonight show appearances I saw live. I think I've heard all his jokes a million times but I always watch these reaction videos because I love seeing new people "discover" Rodney.

Rodney Dangerfield was a comic genius, His movies are funny try watching Caddyshack 1980 film, I was 6 years old at the time. I remember him on Johnny Carson My mom would let me stay up late on Friday night, so I could watch it. By then I was 9 or 10 years old. In the mid 80’s back then there were only 3 channels or networks. RIP Rodney Dangerfield he past away in 2004.
I like you`re laid back mellow attitude. Rodney is a classic. Sort of a white Richard Pryor but came before him with a more honest self deprecating attitude.

U've seen Sanford & Son clips ( 1 of the greatest sitcoms in the history of colorized) I would like 2 pass along 2 suggestions; actor Whitman Mayo as Grady from Sanford &Son, when actor Redd Foxx was in a salary dispute with the network. The story, Grady would be housekeeper & aide to Lamont while Fred was away in St. Louis. The episode wherein Lamont discovered what he thought was marijuana, but was parsley. 😊 2ly the classic stand up comedian Victor Borge who started as a virtuoso pianist & combined comedy and classical music. I got to see him live. Great comedian.
Loved your reaction,.the joke that always gets me, is when he says his wife hit a tree with the car, and her excuse was that she blew the horn,..like she blew the horn at the tree to get it to get out of the way,.a tree rooted in the grown,...hilarious, he's hilarious,..he did movies too,..but to me his best one is Back To School, do check that one out, Adrienne Barbeau plays as his cheating wife, and all those wife jokes come alive every time they're in a scene together,..Godspeed, Peace ✌
