The S-1 and T-8 are the most powerful of the mini Aria devices. The J-6 has it’s own tricks (chord library) but lacks full access to the sound engine within. This is a good pairing.
Yes, I totally agree with you! The size does not make them even less powerful them bigger Synths. They are very powerful.👍

Worked it out. Midi cable.
Exactly they are sync via midi cable. 👍
You can see it at the beginning that I just press "Play" on the T8 and the S1 start playing also. You can't ear it because I just bring it in latter when I turn up it's volume. But You can see the green on the play button.

The Roland S-1 it's great! IMO👍
I also love the T8 but I don't know very well the Volca Beats because I don't have one. What I like the most about the T8 is it's live performance capabilities. I'm thinking on making a 1 Year user review video.✌️
