    Dmexotics is pretty much my favorite reptile channel over the years. Always shows rare/exotic stuff you don’t get to see often. Always enjoy the content! Thanks

    Hey! I did a quick Google search about the rhyno rat snakes and it says males usually have yellow ventral scales while females have white. I don't know if that's completely accurate, but thought I'd mention it as I was curious about the difference and what it may mean.
    Keep doing what y'all are doing. Those prospective buyers who "ghosted" you or backed out without giving any notice/reason are truly missing out on some wonderful and beautiful animals. It's definitely their loss and some other buyers lucky day! If I had any extra money to put toward a new snake, y'alls animals would most certainly be at the top of my list. I hope everyone lucky enough to get an animal from y'all knows just how fortunate they are and that they enjoy the animal(s) for many years to come. 🤘🏻❤️‍🔥

      We will sex all of our animals regardless because a lot of that doesn’t always hold true. It could but not sure. As far as the flakey people…the only lists I keep after the smoke clears are them. Many come back but you know what they can expect at that point.

    Hello, writing from europe. The native reptiles here are very rare since all reptiles and amphibians in european union are protected and in order to legally own them you need paperwork kind of like cites and then as far as i know you need a permit if you are keeping reptiles native to your country
    The only species radily available on the european market are the tortoises

    • @DMExotics
      @DMExotics  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For the USA, only a handful of native species are heavily regulated while most are not an issue. Because we have different states, then state native species can have more regulation within that state than out of state. We also see some heavily regulated US natives in Europe which is a similar situation.

    I would make people wanting on the waiting list pay a deposit. Otherwise it’s first come first served. As the old saying goes “a bird in hand is worth two in the bush”

    • @DMExotics
      @DMExotics  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      So I think what most people don't understand is there are many challenges for what I do compared to what everyone else does. I am operating on an international level and what I offer in advance does not always mean I can get it. I leave the real questionable stuff off of my available lists and try to offer only the things that are in hand(overseas) or what I am pretty confident will arrive. There are also large segments of my waiting lists that I cannot fulfill due to it just not coming. I have been doing this for a very long time so it is the best way that I can manage the unique way my business operates. The only alternative is to just do a "ready, set, go" method for all customers but that carries a different level of insanity and is a crappy way to deal with all of the real customers that DM Exotics has. At some point I stop dealing with the public....that fixes all issues.

    My guess is the baby with the white chin is younger or just a little slower in it’s ontogenetic color change.

      @DMExotics  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Steevee14 You are going to have your hands full running through the internet and TH-cam trying to convince the world on that one. I think at best the two are synonyms but clearly general consensus leans towards ontogenetic.

    • @DMExotics
      @DMExotics  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think I’m going to keep them. We had some people back out on our cb23 babies after jumping on our waiting list because they were not aware of the price(even though posted on my website). They sold to back up buyers like I explained. The axanthic stuff adds a bit more to the cost.

    • @kyleinthecloud415
      @kyleinthecloud415 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DMExotics totally understand! You know I have been questioning something though. I have noticed in a lot of your videos you talk about those who don’t follow through with holds. Have you ever considered a first come first serve system that doesn’t allow holds? If people are serious, they should be holding their money ready or saving and then inquiring when they are ready. If you didn’t take holds, sure you’d probably get less people interested, but those people looking for holds typically aren’t coming back or find similar elsewhere for one dollar less (lol). I’m sure you’ve weighed the options if I had to guess.

    • @DMExotics
      @DMExotics  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@kyleinthecloud415 I think what most people don't understand is that we are running an international business and are only in the US for a few weeks. The waiting lists are a courtesy and are mostly suited for our regular customers, our patreon members and legitimate new customers. I could easily tell everybody a date and time to let the games begin but that also is a very different kind of chaos. Much of what we sell you will find nowhere else and our prices are always very good because we are a direct source with no middlemen. I am happy to see flakes go elsewhere and be a headache to other sellers in the USA. We also don't delete those names and start over again, we compile lists of time wasters and keep them for the future. Maybe we don't say enough about the giant customer base that we do maintain but, at some point, I will stop selling to the public and also stop returning to the USA and only do exports. Before you move to suggest accepting deposits, if we were in the USA sitting with animals, I could easily take deposits. However, we don't live in the USA and if you don't do import/export, you will not have any idea as to how many variables there are in sending animals internationally. I would rather deal with a few flakes than hold money hostage in the event that I cannot supply animals. The way things are today, kids will try to get you cancelled just for holding and returning a deposit complaining how long you kept their money 😂
