I want to thank everyone for commenting!! A couple quick points: I got really good fair pricing and was treated very well at my local Tacoma Destination Harley Davidson dealership. This video is only intended to go over my real world numbers since there is so much misinformation on the subject it seems. I am no expert, so I do recommend doing your research and due diligence in terms of what you should and shouldn’t purchase along with a bike. All the options HD provides with a purchase can be beneficial to the right person. I only hope to share my experience and ideas on this topic with you guys to open up the conversation to more good information. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR WATCHING AND COMING ALONG FOR THE RIDE!!!🤜🤛
Hey nice to see a Tacoma destination Harley.I live in Nashville now but Washington State for 30 years.I bought mine at down town Harley there before they moved.
We appreciate all you guys and gals who pay through the nose so we can buy them in 10 years with low mileage for next to nothing and roll some numbers on that odometer. Thank you!
You’re actually tier 2. The paper you were holding is just showing you what percent of the population are in different fico score ranges. Yes, you can buy the extended service plan after the first 2 years of warranty but the price goes up. So if you know you are going to keep the bike for more than 2 years and you don’t want to pay for mechanical failures after the first two years than it’s a better decision to buy it at the time of purchase. You’ll save money. Plus you can finance it into your loan instead of a large out of pocket expense in the future. An extra 5 years on top of the 2 should only be in the 3,000-3,500 price range. Not 5k! That’s gouging. HD paint protection is more than just the ceramic coat. It also comes with a 5 year paint warranty which is actually the more valuable portion of the product you’re paying for. Gap is a must have if you don’t have a big down like yourself. Suggesting that it’s a needless add on is a major financial mistake for some people who don’t have a lot of equity when they buy. Hopefully this helps people looking to make a purchase. You got a great deal on this bike. Enjoy man. The 2024’s are rad.
Wow!!! So cool I got a comment from you Matt, I’ve been watching you for the last year now! I appreciate the wise words and information for those watching and reading. The 1k paint protection I was offered was not ceramic, it was a ppf package which for the right person is totally worth it, but for myself, I’d rather diy it and save some money. And completely agree on GAP, if people’s insurance does not provide it, buying it up front is a must. The guys over at Tacoma Destination HD took great care of me, I have nothing but good things to say. I have been LOVING the bike, I test rode a 23 Lowrider St, and RG ST last year, and this bike feels like a completely different bike.
Matt is giving good advice here. If you are buying anything like a car or motorcycle, get GAP insurance. You are going to be underwater on that loan for the first 2 years probably unless you make a hefty down payment. Very transparent video. Nice work and enjoy the ride!
I was at my local Harley dealership yesterday where they have more inventory on the floor than I’ve ever seen there. I’m 63 years old and I’ve been riding since I got my first motorcycle in 1975’. and I’ve owned just about everything you can imagine to include a handful of Harley’s. I’m riding a 16’ Heritage that I bought new for about $17K. A new one today is $22,500. I realize the prices like everything else in life have increased dramatically but Harley prices are just astronomically high now. A new Street Glide/Road Glide is about $30K. I bought a new 09’ Street Glide prior to my Heritage for about $20K. My buddy and I were thinking it’s gotta be hard for a younger person trying to buy a new Harley today when your payments are going to be $500 or more plus the cost of insurance which is higher now as well. I realize it’s an Apples and Oranges comparison but just to make the point, I recently had a beyond mid-life crisis and bought a new 23’ Suzuki GSXS 750 which is a 112 HP in-line four cylinder naked type Crotch Rocket for $10k total out the door. No, it’s not a Harley but if I’m a younger man trying to get by in todays world, buying any type of a Japanese bike is obviously a much less expensive alternative. Incidentally, my local Suzuki/Kawasaki dealership had a pretty minimal inventory in comparison to Harleys. It’s not hard to understand why and sooner or later, this is going to catch up with Harley.
im right there with you.im 65 this year.got my 10th harly last fall.2019 flhx 2000 miles 19000.i found he bike online in bmw dealership.had it shipped from ill, to mass 75.00.midnight blue.all stock.not for long .💀
True, I saw a beautiful new CVO Road Glide at Battlefield HD the other day and shockingly didn't have a price tag on it. Being curious I inquired and when the salesperson told me $52k I couldn't believe it!! When he saw my jaw drop he started to validate the price and went into great detail about it. Mind you, I have 2ea. 1998 (1st gen.) Road Glides, both have well over 100,000 miles on them and have no computers on them or anything fancy. They are simple and reliable, I can fix absolutely everything on it myself and have over my 15 years of ownership. These new bikes albeit are nice they're extremely expensive and in my opinion way overpriced. Gone are the days of wrenching on your own bike. If you purchase one of these things you are now married to any Stealership for anything it needs and they don't call them "Stealerships" for no reason. To each his own but I wouldn't trade any of my 2 Road Glides in an even exchange for one of these newer bikes and I'm totally serious. I'd never find another one as they're very rare and it has the best motor that HD ever made "Evo" that powers it. I also average 55 mpg on my bikes and it is the lightest Road Glide ever made even without any Carbon fiber bits on it. I'm glad HD is making advancements and modernizing but the prices are just ridiculous. They've FINALLY hit the $50k threshold, I guess here soon we'll see $60k as that seems to be the next benchmark. Corporate greed and union wages are out of control, hope they can continue to keep their doors open. Honestly, I don't know anyone in my circle of friends who can afford a $50k motorcycle.
yeah..cvo saw those prices.insane.really that big a difference?i got the 2019 for the heel shifter.now they include on the cvo model.lol@@kennethwise7108
It’s like this, guy. Seems like you’re screwing up the math, you’re probably same as me, more on than off. But really you’re not making any sense. You sound stupid, “oh my 78 datson was better then my 1952 dodge” A Cadillac isn’t a car to be scored and it’s cheaper than a Rolls Royce
When I started to ride motorcycle in 1957 minimum wage was $.25 an hour and gasoline was $.17 a gallon. Today minimum wage is $15 an hour and gasoline is over three dollars a gallon if I finance. My road glide and I pay $400 a month. I can think of it as a lease because that comes to $100 a week. I broke my new 2021 Road glide and I have 30,000 miles on it so for me it’s pretty cheap
Congratulations. How did u do the gap? I thought it was insurance only thing. I want one too but in my town there's no BMW mechanic I'd have to take it to Houston or something
To clarify: Harley offer a two year limited warranty. There are dearleships who offer lifetime powertrain warranties. These are aftermarket warranties not offered by Harley Davidson. Great information on this video, but just wanted to set the record straight.
I fell in the tier 1 when I bought my street Bob and it wasn’t much better through HD Financial (7.5%). Ended up just going with my credit union. Awesome video, glad I found this channel
I just can't stomach that purchase price. To each his own i guess. I'm happy with my 4 bikes in the pole barn. Bought them all used, paid cash, don't need to insure them all of the time. I have two sons and we take trips down to the Ozarks or Smoky Mountains. Lots of fun. Oh, $26k total. BMW 1200RT, BMW 1200GS, Triumph Tiger 800, and my wife's new toy C125 Honda Super Cub. Have fun and be safe.
FYI - Credit Scores at 720+ are considered Tier 1.. some Promo Deals from Manufacturers will say 750 or better…. I bought a 2023 Road Glide Fast Johnnie at a 3.9% through Eagle Finance 60 months.
Never use dealer financing unless you absolutely know you qualify for special rate promotions. The finance office always adds a percentage or two to the buy rate. Plus, ALWAYS ask to see the buy rate if you do use dealer financing.
@@jamesatkins3616 I might have to go out of state to get one. There is no way in hell i am paying $35k otd for base paint chrome bike that msrp is almost 10k less.
I have the same bike, same color. My price was the same as yours, before I added heated CVO grips, stage II RF speakers in fairing and saddlebags, Krome Werks 4.5 inch slip ons, highway pegs and 5 year full warranty including tires and wheels. Put $17000 down and got a loan from my credit union for the balance at 6.5 percent interest. Total was just over $40k out the door. Can’t stand having a payment, even at 309 a month so I sold 8 ounces of gold and paid “Casper” off. Title OTW. Love this bike. Thanks for sharing your videos, they are really helpful. BTW, I almost got whiskey fire on black but when I saw the white onyx pearl on black in the sun, I had to have it!
That is one honest Dealer. I am hearing that some HD Dealers are asking as high as $1,500 for set up (PDI) plus $500 for Processing Fee. Some are jacking up the price and forcing you to pay by $1,500 for Paint protection and security system (total horse shit, this is not a $400K Ferrari). You don't have to buy the extended warranty from the same Dealer. If you find a better price elsewhere, go there. If you live in a high income area, call out of town smaller Dealers. Those Dealers will treat you better and they won't charge stupid $hit on top of the MSRP.
Wow! That's a ton of cash. So as an older guy (geezer), I bought my 2020 RKS out the door in Las Vegas for 23K cash. Out the door! Ya I get it; I don't have the cool video game screen but trust me, as you get a little older and realize the tech is quickly antiquated, you (me) look for simplicity. RKS has a speedo. What else do you need? The bike and the highway. The rest is fluff designed to suck the cash right out of a young guy's pocket. Score for HD.
Thank you very much for sharing! Very few people on TH-cam (if any) go into this much detail on a big purchase like this and the knowledge is really helpful. Regarding the 2 year warranty, l have a 2021 Road Glide Special and after a year of owning the bike I switched from HD Syn3 oil to a very well known brand that exceeded every requirement in the HD Owners Manual. This brand sold oil change kits that included an oil filter. Not too long after, I took my bike to the dealer to have new tires put on, they did a 15k mile service that included a 3 hole fluid change. When the head of the service department (32 years of experience) brought my bike around front after completing the service, he asked me what oil and filter i used on the last oil change. When I told him, he looked at me like I had poured sand into the engine. Then he just dropped his head like he was praying over the grave of his best friend. After a while he slowly raised his head and looked me right in the eye and told me to use only HD brand lubricants and filters on the engine. The only warranty claim I’ve had on the bike was replacement of the rear tire pressure sensor. But after my encounter with him over the engine fluids, I went back to 100% HD. Just for tellin’ ya.
Good video. You are an intelligent young man. It is none of my business how you spend your money. Just another perspective. I've had maybe 25 bikes over 50 years of riding. Only one bike purchased new. The remainder purchased used or salvage. One can be just as happy on an $8K bike as a $35K bike, even more so if you enjoy the accomplishment of bringing a bike back to like. I pay no loan interest, minimal depreciation, and my insurance (no collision) runs around $120 per year per bike. Just a thought - there are tons on new bike videos but few on used / salvage bike enjoyment & savings. A talented person like you might be very interesting focused on that niche. Best to you.
Good call, I’ve been meaning to introduce the Triumph and truck to the channel, the Harley content has really been doing well so I haven’t filmed anything for TH-cam on the Triumph yet but I will try to this week, thanks for the support!🤜🤛
Thanks for sharing. I’m also in Washington. After talking with a few dealers in the area, their biggest issue with selling 24’s are with the folks who have newer trade ins like myself. The trade in value for late model touring models have dropped significantly since the new models arrived. They seem to only be selling to those with no trade ins because the folks with 21+ models are getting destroyed on their trade. I bought a black with black trim 23 Road Glide Limited w/RDRS 5mo ago. I got a pretty dang good deal at $35k otd. I went to a few dealers to see what I could get on trade and highest was $20k. That’s insane and that’s on a Limited model which are unchanged for 2024. I only have 1,300mi and it’s immaculate. As much as I love the changes to the 24 models, I’ll be keeping my bike for the foreseeable future and I’m ok with that. Enjoy your bike and ride safe 🤙🏼
@@SodiumfreeridingI do ride quite a bit. I bought the bike right before being deployed which is why the miles were low at the time. I now have well over 10k miles. Pretty ignorant and useless comment.
I just bought a 2024 Breakout and since I bought a couple of products in Finance, I qualified to get a 6.39% for 60 rate. Way better than Navy Federal, which I was shocked.
Grt stuff Brother I love the color and congrats on the first new vehicle God is gd all the time, what I got out of the video was put more cash down to lower that $500+ payment ouch! but ride safe and rock! that 2024 Blessings!
Bruh, that dealer just ganked you. That bike is $25,999 from Harley. That dealer charged you an extra $4000. These dealers be scamming. And what they're really doing is the salesman is adding on the additional $4000 so he can get his cut. This should have been your walk out price $21,858.75
The msrp $25999, once you add the engine blackout paint and etc the price goes up. In reality, you're not getting on a new RG or SG out the door for $25999. Also, keep in mind when you add your monthly insurance cost to these bikes, your monthly payments goes up about $100. This bike is costing over $600 a month, but life is short and you can't can't take any of this stuff with you so enjoy. This is how I look at it. 😁👍
@@markurbancowboyyou're right you can't take your $$$ to the grave. Can't take the motorcycle either. Perhaps $$$ is better spent on things that are eternal. Just my humble opinion though.
As of Feb 2024, $30~40k OTD for a touring motorcycle of this caliber is pretty normal. I am in a shopping mode for my next touring bike, so I've been looking here in Los Angeles area (we are by far the most expensive location in the US...thanks Gavin). Ducati Multi V4S was about $38k OTD (at Beverly Hills dealer), BMW S1000XR with paniers and a few options was about $28k + tax (2023 model at Burbank BMW), 2024 BMW K 1600 model ranges will be well over $35k for sure OTD, and Honda Goldwing OTD was about $32k (tour version) but with more options such seat upgrade and so on will be about $37k+. Yes, they are all expensive - especially here in California. I am sure in other states, the prices will be about $3~4k lower. Where ever you are, if you are into this life style as we all know, we will somehow find a way to justify this and make it worth every penny.
Congrats, glad to see the younger generation making smart financial decisions when making a purchase. You keep doing what you are doing and one day you'll join my club of paying cash for your bikes. Congrats again and ride safe
You can boost your credit score before a purchase by getting your credit limits raised. It gives the same boost as paying down your debt. Also, if it’s taxable, it’s negotiable. If they won’t budge on the fees, make em take the cost of the fees off of the price of the bike. Get your financing done on your own, and then allow Harley to see if they can beat it. I’ve got the 21 limited.
I got a 1.99 interest because I would not budge when they kept offering 6-7 percent.. ended up walking away and than got a phone call the next day with the 1.99 interest offer 😮and my credit was 730 at that time..they always offer the highest and work backwards because of incentives they receive from the bank.. you have to go in there with the mindset that you are willing to walk away and have them work in your favor. You probably could have had a 5% interest rate. I’ve bought a ton of new vehicles and bikes, next time work em. The bike is beautiful! Congrats brotha.
Nice, 10.09 not bad if you look back in around 2010-2015 rates. People forget that rates are were they should be at this point. Anyway, it's always a good reminder for those young and old about financing. Good advice.
Thank you for the kind comment. I think the other issue is a lot of people who have never financed anything other than a car don’t know that interest rates are higher on pretty much everything besides cars..
@@OffWeekGarage no doubt. I want the exact same bike so your vids were perfect. I went in today to look at my local place and they didn’t have any in stock. Honestly I wish they had the Alpine Green with the black but I guess that’s not a thing. 1 question I did have for you. Have your tested the car play yet? Also if so does the car play nav pop up on the Harley screen or just on your phone? Thanks a lot sir!!
@@qdean3312 I made an infotainment video on that, the CarPlay map does pop up, and if you’re in touring mode almost the whole screen is the map. It’s a little hard when you’ve got your phone, Sena headset and bike infotainment all wanting to talk, I haven’t really used CarPlay much due to that. It works flawless, but it takes me a couple minutes to get it dialed in which I just don’t choose to do. It’d be beneficial on a trip for sure though. The phone tends to want to pair to the bike when you turn the bike on, and then that causes the Sena to lose connection with the phone. So then I have to disconnect my phone from the bike, connect to the Sena again, then connect to the bike.
@@OffWeekGarage ooo you know what I do remember you talking about that. I’m new to the Sena world. Never used it but my buddies do. Makes sense for sure when your on long trips to use the car play nav. But of course the sena is important also when you’re riding with friends. Hopefully they figure this issue out. Again thanks a lot for all your answers big dog. Be safe out there!!! 💪🏾💪🏾
@@qdean3312 yeah it’s just the way it goes with all this tech, at any given time my phone is Bluetooth’d to at least my Apple Watch, and then headphones or Sena and bike, it’s a miracle it all works 😅, I can’t really put any blame on the bike or infotainment for that, it operates as intended so no gripes here!
Good dealers have dropped the extra surcharges post Covid as far as I know, that’s how it was for me. Matt Laidlaw talked about this in his videos and how that has got these new bikes cheaper than the 2023’s!
@@OffWeekGarage Freight, dealer assembly and prep is not the "surcharge" fee that was added on by Harley. It was a specific line item called surcharge. But your deal, is pretty rare in that if you did not pay for freight, dealer assembly and prep, that's pretty crazy they'd drop that. Like another poster mentioned, a Road Glide is 25,999 on the Harley website, but you paid 29,049. Seems like it got broken down maybe like, 25,999 for the Road Glide itself, 1350 for the black trim, 850 for the paint upcharge, with about 850 in dealer fees, plus the line item 367.75 for misc fees. Either way, with that total of dealer fees, it's lower than a lot of dealerships out there for sure.
I love the newer Harley's but they are worth the price. My first two Harleys were brand new. First a Sportster and then a Softail back in 2020. I loved them both but I ended up getting rid of them for a truck. I told myself I would never buy new again. The price otd and interest in top doesn't make it worth its value to me. I know I wanted another bike but know I would not spend crazy cash. So... I just recently picked up a 95 Fatboy with a bunch of extras for a screaming deal. 3500$ lol
I got my 24 roadglide for 35 out the door. But ... also have wheel and tire warranty. Gap, pipes, and a tour pack. With my traid in. So I think I did good.
Thanks for the honesty and discussion of actual numbers on your purchase. I am always amazed at the amount of keyboard warriors come out to say negative things about your honest numbers. Onky you know what you can afford and what your willing to sacrifice for yourself to have a gorgeous new ride. We all know about depreciation and everything that goes along with anything purchased brand new. The one thing that negative Nancy's ALWAYS forget about is the amount of enjoyment and mental health positives one gets from putting on 2 wheels. Enjoy it! Love it! Great video! #1moreday #tomorrowisnotguarenteed #mentalhealthstrong
With the roads so bad in Orlando and considering that they do not clean up after accidents. I would do tire and wheel protection only. I can tell you around town , I have seen pot holes that turn into moon creamers, man hole covers not put all the way back in place, large bolts and roofing nails laying on the road. Pieces of car bumpers laying in the middle of road.
Good luck to you. It was helpful to watch it. I refuse to pay HD that out the door price. That is me. I don't see a value riding these bikes. Just can't. I bought a new Goldwing, paid 23K out the door, got 5 years extended coverage after the factory is over (8 years total) for get this 780.00 for 5 extra years. Advice to all, do not take a 7 year loan even with super credit score.
I would say you got a fair deal. I bought a 21 road glide limited for 34 out the door. 12k down payment, my monthly payment for 60 months is 420. I didn't get any add ons or extended warranty. Also financed through my credit union 😊😊😊
I got my 2012 FLHTK for $21K OTD. $11k down, $10k financed thru HD Credit @1.9 APR.! Paid it off in 3 years. I still have it, and it’s worth way more for me to keep it now, than to trade it for a new one.
I was tier 1 when I bought mine. got 3.99% promo interest with $2000 trade credit on a '23 RGS. They dropped the price over $2000 because 24's are coming out and paid off my trade in(2020 Triumph speed twin 1200). I put $6k down and made a hell of a difference on loan payment. They get you on the fees and taxes though. Wouldn't let me pay taxes on my own. I hate financing it but I guess it really came out of the $6K I put down.
Good video. Definitely put things in prospective. Don’t listen to all the people bashing what you paid. Most of them either can’t afford it or are doing the same financing. The bike looks GREAT, hope you enjoy it
I bought my first Harley a 2005 springer classic my first RoadGlide in 2010 so I’m listening g to a kid buying a 32k bike! Plus 125.00 per month for insurance and this is considered a win ?
Great content…thanks for sharing. I have a 2020 streetglide special, but absolutely love the new roadglide. I am trying to hold back for another year, but the new 2024 models are making it hard! Enjoy the new bike
I bought a 2014 Street Glide last year and got couple of the add ons, such as the gap. I don’t know if that’s a good idea but I still pay each month with my payments. Finance for 7 years for $298 a month but with add ons is $315. Might as well pay for what you want in life and enjoy while you can guys… life is short!!! 👍
A new ‘24 117 Streetglide here in Holland does cost: $43.000 in black/black!! Insurance all risk without discount prox $ 170 per month, road tax $12 per month. I drive a RKS ‘23 without loan😅
Congratulations on your new bike be safe and remember next time negotiate your selling price you could’ve gotten probably three or four grand off here in Las Vegas but who might say my dad has the CVO 2024 and he paid the same price as yours 29 grand I thinkhis house got way more stuff on it. What do I know I’m just a young girl.
$114 per month for insurance? I have state farm. Full coverage, better than HOG, $26 per month. Congrats on the new bike! She’s beautiful. I have a ‘19 RG.
It used to be when rates were high dealers would give good discounts Or you could get a good finance rate now it just looks like greed across-the-board. Think I’ll hold onto my 105th anniversary Fatboy that I paid seven grand for four years ago. Does everything I needed to do?
With 40+ FICO scores, it’s important to know which FICO was pulled (could have been two, and may vary by state. I’ve seen some older data points for scores used but nothing recent. Did your app show what score was pulled?

You sound stupid, “oh my 78 datson was better then my 1952 dodge”
A Cadillac isn’t a car to be scored and it’s cheaper than a Rolls Royce
When I started to ride motorcycle in 1957 minimum wage was $.25 an hour and gasoline was $.17 a gallon. Today minimum wage is $15 an hour and gasoline is over three dollars a gallon if I finance. My road glide and I pay $400 a month. I can think of it as a lease because that comes to $100 a week. I broke my new 2021 Road glide and I have 30,000 miles on it so for me it’s pretty cheap
I have a 22 BMW R18B 21.5k OTD with gap, best deal I could find a touring bike. I just rode recently from FL to Texas and it was a great ride!
Good looking bike
Congratulations. How did u do the gap? I thought it was insurance only thing. I want one too but in my town there's no BMW mechanic I'd have to take it to Houston or something
To clarify: Harley offer a two year limited warranty. There are dearleships who offer lifetime powertrain warranties. These are aftermarket warranties not offered by Harley Davidson. Great information on this video, but just wanted to set the record straight.
Thank you for the information, you are correct!!
thanks for the transparency! sick bike, life is short
Dang right it is!
It is a beautiful bike and thank you for being honest about what the numbers look like.
I'm still riding my '64 FLH I bought in '69 for $1200. And the "57 FL I bought in '77 for $1800. But I don't have an infotainment display.
So what?
👍👍👌
Very useful information for people who are curious! We all appreciate the honesty
Can’t wait to see what else you do with this
Thank you so much for the support, I’ll keep it coming for you guys 😎⚡️
I fell in the tier 1 when I bought my street Bob and it wasn’t much better through HD Financial (7.5%). Ended up just going with my credit union. Awesome video, glad I found this channel
How did you manage usually is very hard for banks or credit union to finance motorcycle!!!
Great video. Just went through same exact process for a new 2024 Nightster Special. First bike.
Such a great video. The younger generation really needs to hear this. NEVER finance accessories and gear!!
Thank you for the support sir!!🤜🤛
I just can't stomach that purchase price. To each his own i guess. I'm happy with my 4 bikes in the pole barn. Bought them all used, paid cash, don't need to insure them all of the time. I have two sons and we take trips down to the Ozarks or Smoky Mountains. Lots of fun. Oh, $26k total. BMW 1200RT, BMW 1200GS, Triumph Tiger 800, and my wife's new toy C125 Honda Super Cub. Have fun and be safe.
March 4 2024. I just bought a new black low rider st Cash 30K out the door Maui. Yeah I don’t care I need the speed for therapy. Mahalo brah
I paid $29K OTD yesterday for a 2024 Street Glide in Whiskey with the blackout option and full built-in maps option. $14K trade in and the rest cash.
Good deal!!! Congratulations! 🎉
important info. I hope it helps keep some people out of trouble. Money ain't free. Thanks.
You got really good deal. Dealer in Parker CO wants $35k OTD for these. I politely told them to go kick rocks.
That's crazy. I'm getting $32k OTD at my local dealer
INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!! They will never see me at the dealer door.
In south Florida they start at 31.9 oooofffff
I paid $30,057 for my black streak glide with the black paint.
@@jamesatkins3616 I might have to go out of state to get one. There is no way in hell i am paying $35k otd for base paint chrome bike that msrp is almost 10k less.
My out the door price in cali a few days ago was very close to the same i got the same bike but in Blue burst
and chrome
Congratulations on the bike!!👏
Don’t forget to speak with a bank/credit union for financing. They’re often offer much better interest rates than any dealer.
I appreciate your honesty and all these details. I think you’ve probably enlightened and helped a lot of your viewers.
That was great and very informative. Being very transparent and truthful on your buying experience. Great episode
Thank you for the support man!!🤜🤛
I have the same bike, same color.
Heck yeah, congratulations, sounds like you’ve got enough EPIC ride on your hands, enjoy and ride safe!!🤜🤛
great deal over all, remember you can refinance anytime when your credit improves. try a credit union
In wayne county Michigan hd 2024 road glide sale for 40,000 k Plus.
My local HD dealer did that on a used bike I bought from them . Hit me all those
Same at my local dealers. They add their "fees" and then offer a rebate which does nothing to the actual msrp of the bike.
If you wait until a big holiday like Christmas they usually offer 1.9 to 3 interest rates.
How about a video on your Triumph Speed Triple? I bought my Harley thinking I’d sell the Speed Triple but it is too great of a bike to let go.
Good call, I’ve been meaning to introduce the Triumph and truck to the channel, the Harley content has really been doing well so I haven’t filmed anything for TH-cam on the Triumph yet but I will try to this week, thanks for the support!🤜🤛
A very smart youngster here. Bravo.
Thank you sir!!🤜🤛
I just got mine yesterday and got a great deal on the trade and the bike….little over 30k OTD. Financed 25k
Man, I was looking forward to a new road glide. However, $500 something a month is just too rich for my blood
I think the electrical problems would keep me away!
$85,000 costs here, in Thailand, where I live (+3,000,000 THB)...
Thanks for sharing your numbers. I think it helps dispel a lot of the rumors out there that dealers are hammering people with $5000 markups.
Absolutely, glad I could help, they were stand up and straight forward, I came in ready to buy and they were ready to sell!
You don’t ride the one ya have, why would you even think about getting a new one?
@@SodiumfreeridingI do ride quite a bit. I bought the bike right before being deployed which is why the miles were low at the time. I now have well over 10k miles. Pretty ignorant and useless comment.

Glad I could help!! Buy it if you can, so worth it!
My apr threw harley is 6.89 on a 23 roadglide
I just bought a 2024 Breakout and since I bought a couple of products in Finance, I qualified to get a 6.39% for 60 rate. Way better than Navy Federal, which I was shocked.
Glad you shared all of this information. I test rode one and man, great experience.
Grt stuff Brother I love the color and congrats on the first new vehicle God is gd all the time, what I got out of the video was put more cash down to lower that $500+ payment ouch! but ride safe and rock! that 2024
Blessings!
Would a credit union loan give you a better interest rate? Or to get brand new you have to go through Harley?
Appreciate the information. I have HD insurance on my bikes... never had any issues.
Good stuff, glad to hear it, thank you for the input!!
Just picked mine up on Tuesday.
Great job sharing your experience and doing great job with your videos
Bruh, that dealer just ganked you. That bike is $25,999 from Harley. That dealer charged you an extra $4000. These dealers be scamming. And what they're really doing is the salesman is adding on the additional $4000 so he can get his cut. This should have been your walk out price $21,858.75
Yes, the paint and blacked out motor costs more
The msrp $25999, once you add the engine blackout paint and etc the price goes up. 😁👍
@@markurbancowboy$600 a month is crazy for a motorcycle. This life is short, but then what?
@@SummerAdventures
Can't take $600 with you to the grave; enjoy life while you're here. If you can afford it, get it.
Well said and very true!! I’m up north of you in Washington State. I’ve ridden it mostly in the rain so far 🤣
I really like your bike man, I love the new infotainment. Congrats ! Welcome to the Harley family!

Congrats on the new Road Glide! That White Onyx Pearl has me intrigued, and I can't wait until the 2024s roll into my neck of the woods.
Check em out when they do, they ride completely different than last year’s model
Congrats brotha.
for sure you have to be willing to walk away.
@@603HD1 Absolutely

Thank you for being so open about your purchase.
Excellent financial review - looking forward to more of your videos 💪🏼
Right on, thank you!!
How did you get rid of the Freight and Dealer Assembly & Prep Fee? I have not been able to walk into a dealer that does not have this added.

Life time power train warranty? That's crazy. I only got a 2yr on my 2020 when I bought it new
I love the newer Harley's but they are worth the price. 3500$ lol

Holy crap! 10.9% interest is wild… I thought my 1.9% on 48 months was too much.

They may not like you then. I was tier one and got 6.39 for 60 months through Harley on my 24 Breakout. They killed Navy Federal's rate.
Your deposit should be covering the taxes and warranties and upgrades you have the dealer installed
I heard black paint has a charge now
I was tier 1 when I bought mine. got 3.99% promo interest with $2000 trade credit on a '23 RGS.
Dude, that is an amazing bike!....$32k is way too much but hey....Better than buying a Camry!
Good video. Definitely put things in prospective. Don’t listen to all the people bashing what you paid. Most of them either can’t afford it or are doing the same financing. The bike looks GREAT, hope you enjoy it
