Hello, Good to see outstanding views of your latest video.Spent a bit of time in Ambleside when I was 14 ,doing gold ofE Now 40 years later its fantastic to see the majesty of the Mountains again. ATVB2U my Friend. Scott Somerset
Hello Ian. I recently found your channel and have now enjoyed quite a number of your videos including this one. It always makes me smile you you get distracted by the lure of a cosy pub and a few pints! What I really admire is when, like in this video you stop for a pint of three (or more!) then turn out of a nice warm pub and walk a further mile or two to find a wild camping spot. I think many of us (me included) would be asking the pub landlord if they had any rooms to let! Mike in Powys
@@t2fn - I've watched quite a few of your Staffordshire Way videos already. It was interesting for me that it ended at Kinver which is just a few miles from where I was brought up and I used to drink in quite a few Kinver pubs in the 1970s. We're in mid Wales now so prime walking country, as you've already sampled! We're just a few yards off the Heart of Wales Railway path. Mike
@@mikedowning4603 the Heart of Wales path looks interesting, I may have to add it to my list! I'm already planning to do the Wales Coast Path, although probably not until 2024.
@@t2fn - Well if you ever do the Heart of Wales Trail let me know. You'd be very welcome to cup if tea or something stronger and to pitch at our place!

It's always a temptation! You should check out the Staffs Way videos, I think I ended up camping in beer gardens about ⅓ of the time!

That would be great, thanks!
I’m doing the tour in a couple of weeks, so videos are helpful. 👍
Thanks! Hope the weather is good for you!
