Jason Mackay Abegglen, Garth Daybell's colleague, was called as a rebuttal witness and testified in the Chad Daybell trial. Here is his testimony from May 23, 2024.

The whole family knew he killed her and just went along with it... Friggin' crazy!
It wasn't just McKay Garth's (now wife but not at the time)mother in law testified to the grand jury the same tale so if Garth and Emma want their father to get away with multiple murders then their lies are gonna be exposed .

This defense attorney is sickening. I understand he needs to do a real good job so that when they lock Chad up he can’t claim poor representation. But, lord this man makes my skin crawl.

Chad’s words when he took the phone from Garth were weird, “This is the husband”. He didn’t sound even remotely distressed.
This is my favorite witness. I think that’s what really happened. Emma and Chad MADE Garth change the narrative. Tammy was murdered, but they needed to spin the “natural death “ idea. Garth has repeatedly changed his story to please Chad and Emma, and to get that life insurance $$
The truth always comes to the light. So Tami was already dead by 1-2am , Garth didn’t call 9-11 until he and Chad had enough time to spin a story Chad had to drive Alex back to the car. There is no way the jury isn’t seeing all the lies. Prior just can’t rattle this witness. Also, Garth and Emma made money off Tami’s death…Emma 17k cash, a car, a vacation and a house to live in. Her and her wimpy husband had 17, 0000 reasons to lie and Garth had 8000.
Totally disgusting. I pray chad spends the rest of his pitiful life in jail. No chance everrrr of parole. Justice for JJ,TLEE,TAMMY AND CHARLES

Garth told multiple people not just Mckay , he also told his wife's (currently but not married at the time) mother the same story so if him and Emma want dear old daddy to get away with multiple murders then their lies will be exposed as they should be .

This young man had the courage to speak the truth, for Tammy; whose own children refused to.
What kind of a soulless, demented person it takes, to plot the murder of 2 children and your wife, while destroying countless lives.
I understand the kids love their dad, but how about pleading the 5th, vs destroying your mom's good spirit.
I can't imagine the eerieness amid the Daybell home, leading up to Tammy's murder. Likewise, Tylee alienated from everyone and pulled to Rexburg. Poor JJ, lost his dad, his sister, his dog, Bailey, and all his life comforts because of these twisted, soulless individuals. All for $$$$$$.
Nothing will equate justice but I pray for not only a guilty verdict but a sentence of death.
Chad needs to know his life not only amounted to nothing, but his peers deems his life valueless and not worth saving.
I cannot understand how anyone can do these things, especially because they had desires. Rather than get divorced, and give the kids up, they used the victim's lives for a Hawaiian lifestyle. Just deplorable.
Regardless of how Pryor tries to pull slight of hand for the jurors, this is a conspiracy case, not a DNA case. Charles Manson has been in jail forever and not only wasn't he ever at an active crime scene, he never participated in the murders.
He orchestrated them and that's the conspiracy that earned him a lifetime sentence.

Pryor is doing well for doing it all by himself and yes defense lawyers do rattle witnesses and everyone does need a defense and he doesn’t have much to work with including the entire world’s energy against his client as everyone knows the Truth…

It was an intimidation tactic. He wrote down the name for casting purposes. Like anyone believes Chad's bunk. Watch how Chad holds his hand after. Julie Rowes baloney.
I dont know if the defense lawyer has ever experienced death, especially of a parent. In the time period after you do give people who talk with you especially when being offered condolences of circumstances surrounding the death. Possibly, especially in an unexpected death as a way to try to process for yourself. I remember doing it when both of my parents died and have been on the receiving end when offering condolences...more often with people I knew a little more casually than close friends who I had interaction with more close to the actual death.
Especially if YOU are the one that finds your parent deceased. That would usually be very traumatizing to most people.
Now let’s get Garth for perjury!

I really admire this prosecutor. She is just incredible and very much equal to the task of nailing this smug guilty lunatic to the wall. I find Prior to be obnoxious and patronizing, but he really should be commended for having SO little to work with for a client. Chad has certainly been well represented.
Emma & Joe M you guys should’ve done more rehearsals. Neither of you should have kids. Are you going to do castings on your own children? Man, I bet they try to stay in the light so hard for you & grandp’s they know they’ll disappear if not.

McKay did a great job on the witness stand! His testimony is very believable.
This is ridiculous, why are they not charging these two Dayball kids for lying? Are they going to let them get away with purgery?
In the bid scheme of things they are pretty insignificant, they did the defense absolutely no good. Chud was found guilty on all counts.
It matters because it sets a precedent that people can lie on stand without consequence. You can't let it go just because the verdict went in your favor.

When Mr Pryor was questioning this guy he said did he tell you he was playing video games till 4:00 p.m. he was playing video games till 4:00 a.m.
