I would never comment on someone's child, however, I know you guys had talked about it before. I have noticed the improvement lately. She's perfect no matter what
Chell IS growing up fast. Look at her long legs! Not only physically, but mentally. She is a sharp little cookie. I wish all children could have stay-at-home parents so that they had the benefits Chell does. I love how excited she gets when she looks out the window and sees people she loves coming to visit. Thank you for sharing her with us. Such an awesome family. ❤️💓❤️💓
Wow Kristen! Thank you for sharing the interesting information concerning air traffic controllers...I can't imagine the stress and responsibilities involved. I appreciate their hard work and dedication!! Chell is precious as always, sending love!! 🤗💟🐞
Another bow legs story. Grand daughter walked at ten months, and we called her a little cowgirl for ages. You could pass a soccer ball under her! Now shes a lovely twelve year old, with long straight legs. Once the diaper comes off, it seems to correct faster.
So glad you're getting Chell's little legs all straightened out. She's an adorable child and we all want the best for her. Sometimes that requires a little outside intervention.
My toddler had one leg that was more bowed than the other and her pediatrician suggested that we put her in ice skating lessons. It forces the legs to point out rather than in. It worked great for us! Love you guys:)
Whatta great vlog .... Feels like we are a community of folks waiting for our kids to come running out of school. Just chatting about this and that experience and how we dealt with it... encouraging each other and ENJOYING what we have in common and also how we are different. Great feeling. Peaceful. Cory, you ARE the leader of the pack.
Cory, my late dad love planes his entire life. Yes!🐥our little Darling is growing so fast!! I was watching an older Vlog just this morning as a matter of fact when y'all visited Grangie and Grark when she was 5 months old. She is absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to see her new little baby brother or sister!! Thank you Kristen for the Astros shout-out!! Our city deserved some good news after our life-changing weather event!! 😊💞🏑🐞
Brenda Hart Hello, dear friend. Very happy for the Astros! How are your neighbors/landlords doing in fixing up their homes after the flood? How are YOU doing? Sending love to TX!❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi Ms. Katie!!💘❤💓 So kind of you to ask, my landlords are enjoying new recliners and granite countertops instead of formica!! Good ol 1970's formica!🤣 KL and I are doing great on this Friday afternoon. Are you enjoying your new apartment? Did you finish unpacking yet? Lol boxes! Stay in touch and enjoy your 4 minute drive home!!😁🤗🏠💓🐞
Brenda Hart 😀I'm still unpacking. In fact, I made a trip to ikea to buy a couple drawer organizers and stuff. I love that place. I saw a man in the warehouse pushing his little boy in a BIG buggy/cart. The little guy was giggling like Chell. It was so fun to watch. So happy for your landlords. Recliners are awesome. My new place also has white granite countertops. I'm terrified I'm gonna stain them with grape juice or something. You and KL give each other a big hug from me. Have a great weekend.
Chell just brightens every gloomy stressful day. She's such a gem! I'm swarmed with exams these days. But looking at her having fun just made me feel so happy. Thanks!
Family reunions on this channel are awesome. So looking forward to it. And yeah, I was going to say the same thing. Bowlegs are not a big deal. It gets better with age. 97%ile on height and that too with BV bowed legs, she's gonna be TALL!!!
Cell is so tall Cory because you are tall. You will alway know when she is about to hit a growth spert when she eats and you can't fill her up and when she sleeps alot. Love you guys love watching Cell grow up
This is why I love watching you guys, watching Chell grow. You guys have no idea how much you have helped me. Seeing you guys looking happy makes me look forward to my futur
I'm glad you finally gave an update/reason to her bowed legs. Also glad they aren't concerned. People have jumped down my throat for asking, but the thing is, I work with kids, babies, and none of them had that issue, so I was genuinely concerned, but got yelled at for asking about it. I know it is better though, I can see the difference. Please keep her in shoes. She's gorgeous and I don't want her to have problems down the line as she grows. She's growing so fast, so my comments come out of concern and I'd really appreciate if people would back off when I show genuine concern. I was never rude about it. But other viewers were extremely rude to me.
My youngest (born and raised in AK) had the same thing as Chell - he's 38 now and and Dr had told me the same, no braces. The thing that finally ended the turned in feet/bowed legs was when he learned to downhill ski in 6th grade. He ended up being a champion runner in high school and now climbs all the mountains. I loved seeing you guys at the air and space museum! :)
That car accident has happened to my dad when me and my younger brother were in the back seat really young. It was the exact same spot where my other family on my dad's side get into car accidents! So happy to be here! 💙👌
I noticed her little bowlegs but also noticed that after y'all moved, it was starting to not be as pronounced. Her legs will be just fine! My little cousin had bowlegs and pigeon toes when she started walking, and the doctor put her in some special shoes for about a year. Of course, this was back in the 80s, I don't know what they do now. But I wouldn't worry too much about it, Chell will be just fine. She's really growing so much! It's such a joy to be able to watch her as she moves from being a toddler to being a kid! ♥ But OH MY GOSH. My heart DROPPED when you did the screeching brakes! No more jumpscares like that!!
Ive been a long time viewer, and ever since you had chell, it seems like every time i see a video, its like shes 7 yrs older each time. shes growing sooooooo fast!!! love you guys!
OMG! Thank God you guys are okay!! That's so scary!! I've been in a serious 9 roll car accident and some close calls. I'm so happy you guys didn't get hurt. My heart stopped at the black screen with the screeching sounds.
My daughter had bowed legs until she was 2 because she walked early. And don't force potty training babies don't have bladder muscle control until the age of three. Babies also will regress for a short time when a new baby comes into the family.
What are you talking about :D no control? Both my kids have been potty trained at 20months. I just took away their diapers and cleaned the floors for a few weeks and they underestood what was going on. We're three weeks into being potty trained with my son and he can tell me he needs to go and holds until he gets to a bathroom(that could be even 15min). Most kids in my country are potty trained before 24months, and parents who fail to do so are considered lazy or not interested enough (unless there is a medical reason, ofcourse).
Cory, my dad obtained his Pilots Licence in his 40s. He had a night flying licence by his 50s. Sadly he passed away at 59... But I'll always have the memory of flying into the sunset over the sea with him. I can still see it now. Love to your family xx 🇬🇧
So glad to know about chell's legs. The nurse and me was concerned. She was so cute in the doctor's office playing with the paper. She's a very sweet little girl!
I was waiting for the crunch when I heard that squealing noise. I lived above an busy af intersection for about five years. I learned by the sound of the crunch how bad the car accident is gonna be without having to look at it. Glad you guys are ok and you aren't hit.
Am glad to hear you are keeping track of her legs, and growth. It really can help to correct problems quickly. Hey Kristen, love the bangs and hairstyle!!!cute!
Glad you were able to avoid it. Car accidents are scary. My family and I were rear ended last month. The lady hit us so hard the impact knocked my glasses right off my face.
I never actually noticed that's what Chell's legs were doing. I have always noticed how adorable she looks when walking, especially just in a diaper. It's just adorable and it makes me giggle a little because it's just stinking adorable!
Cory, thank God you guys are okay and that you were paying attention to the mirror and saw her heading for you in time!! You are awesome!!! Thanks for updating us on Chell's legs. I have noticed that they've started to look better, and also I'm awestruck at how fast she's been maturing. I think having other kids around has been great for her, as well as other adults. BTW in terms of the potty training, why not ask your pediatrician? She'll give you the best advice for Chell. (Just saying that many kids are unable to control their bladders until they're much older than Chell, so try not to pressure her.)
Haven't been to air and space museum there in a long time, but it is really neat. Glad you feel much better. Love watching every day. Can't wait to see what you do for dad hacks.
Cory, you're right! I noticed Chell growing so fast lately! When you showed her legs in this vlog, explaining her bowleg thingy, I was like "Wait there are her legs!? They're so long!" My family is tall too. My great-grandma set the birth lenght record with 60-something cm (about 24 inch), and when my mum (who had already been a talk girl as well) went 14, she all of a sudden grew to 1,80 m (about 5'11") in a matter of weeks!
I noticed when my youngest son was 2 that one foot turned in so much that it actually caused him to fall a LOT and he wouldn't run like other kids. When I took him to his doctor, he actually dismissed me as being an over-reactive mom. Even though I was right about him being Special Needs a year earlier and he brushed me off then too. I asked his therapist about it and she arranged for a specialist who had special inserts made for his shoes. He now runs and plays and walks without falling like he used to, though he still falls, just not as much. Don't be afraid to seek another doctor if you KNOW you aren't being heard when it comes to your daughter.
EXCELLENT JOB CORY cause what you may have not thought of you just finished talking about Chelle's bowed legs. She was in the back seat with her legs toward that car. OH GOD was with you, (is) with you and GTA - Glad everyone is okay! We all have to be careful what we say! I've always WONDERED about Chelle's legs but you are so right it is improving FAST cause I have been away and I had not even noticed they had straightened THAT MUCH, wow it does correct itself, and the REASON I did not say anything is cause I had heard that doctors break them to fix it and I was NOT about to say something and some doctor say that mess.
So glad you guys are ok! Definitely got a little nervous about the screeching tires and black screen. Way to go Cory for having quick puma-like reflexes!
My daughter had bowlegs, and she grew out of it by the time she was 2-3, she is 18 now.. I don't blame you Corey, I can't take hospitals, needles, tests, it makes my skin crawl and my heart race a million miles a second.
It's great getting her into aviation. I am a pilot, I've had a daughter, and I can tell you that getting her into aviation at a young age is a great idea. My parents paid for my flight training, and used to say "it's cheaper than getting a lawyer." Aviation is a great career and I would recommend it to anyone.
I’ve got ten kids. I’ve had one kiddo potty train at 2, but everybody else was 3. Even if it was the day of their 3rd birthday, it took until 3 for them to “get it”. It didn’t matter how early I started, it’s always been that magic age. It caused us (me and kiddo) so much more stress than was necessary. If she doesn’t seem to get it really quickly, then you can always just hold off. It is no big deal. From my understanding, about her legs and walk, *most* children “walk funny”, and eventually grow out of it. Obviously, if they have a real health issue or deformity that’s different. But yeah... she’s perfect, and beautiful. :) You guys are awesome parents.
I was born with retroverted hips, which made me look bowlegged. So it meant that my hips were not in the socket correctly, or that my hips were backwards. It was something I was born with and it took many doctors and xrays for someone to finally say that that was the problem when i was 5. I noticed in Chell that when she walks her feet point outwards, which is what mine did. I would just keep an eye out and if she has hip pain when she gets older it might want to be something to look into because it can deteriorate the bones and it is genetic. Yall are doin so great, I know it can be stressful to go to the doctors and not get a straight answer.
I think Cory's experience as a firefighter and such is better explanation than the GTA for Cory's reaction behind the wheel. A person who a about a month ago witness a fetal accident, the way the fire fighters and police officers talk about past accident and who they would have reacted, they learn from others on how to react to bad drivers!
I love this channel, makes me want to do all kinds of things with my nephew so he can have the same expressions of wonder and happiness as Chell. And Kristen looks so young with bangs!
Notice what Corey is doing at 10:09 . It makes me happy to see him open the door for her. My ADHD wants to write paragraphs about this, but I'll just say virtual high five for keeping it classy! Now to go listen to That Ain't Classy by Classified..
smallpaul is small Yes! I always make sure to thank guys when I’m out in public and I have the door held open for me. Always nice to have that chivalry still alive and well!
I was a very lazy mom. Toilet training just upset my son and upset me, so I just stopped. He trained himself just before he was three, he was ready. You have to choose your battles.. you know your child and know when she's ready, besides girls are easier to train than boys, so they say.
Theresa Carmen I don't know about that lol. I have a little girl, my friend has little boys. Her oldest boy picked it up early, and with no time at all. My little girl waited until she was nearly three. Her youngest, however, was older than three. It just depends on the kid.
Potty training - when potty training stop using diapers. Only use pull ups at nap, bedtime and when going out in the car. Do a sticker chart- she gets 1 sticker for going tinkle and 2 for the 💩. Or you can use M&M's whatever will peak her interest. Every time you go potty have her sit on the potty. When the tires screeched my heart stop!! I was like OH NO!! Thank God you were able to avoid a collision.
"I know who's in the Super Bowl!" LMAO!! "Go Astros!" See, this is why I've loved Kristen from the get-go! :) Anyway, I'm glad that you guys are okay. That was a close call with the car. That, Cory, is what we call defensive driving. So three cheers for GTA for helping you. I've also noticed how much Chell has changed. She's such a beautiful and delightful little girl. Great vlog! Hugs from Houston with our World Series Title! (Sorry, I couldn't resist!)
My youngest son walked at 8 months. People were just in wow at how little he looked running around. He's played sports since he was 4 and has had no issues other than growing pains. He's now 15 taller than myself and his older siblings and still growing. Point to my ramble is I believe chell will be just fine tall but just fine.
I had what was similar to a clubbed foot when I as a baby. No one knew there was a problem until I started to walk. The first doctor wanted to put me in a leg brace, so my parents got a second opinion. The 2nd doctor said it was just the muscles and put me in a show with a wedge in it. Fixed it right up!
my legs were braced as a young infant up to 4 years old....my knees are ruined because of the force of trying to turn my legs straight. when my mom finally said enough it was a relief and nothing changed in the end. in my thirties i started concentraing on walking correctly and keep my feet straight...... that is how i taught myself and at 48 i don't even have to think about it now i just walk straight.
Go Astros!!!! It was great!!! I’m glad y’all talked about Chell and her legs. I’ve been concerned about them since she started walking. I never thought about her potentially needing braces, and I’m so glad that she doesn’t need them. God’s continued blessings for your sweet family. 😊🕊🌈❤️
Cory, Chell also appears to be "pidgeon toed" - her feet turn in when she walks. I was pidgeon toed and bow legged when I was a baby and the doctors had me wear a night brace and special shoes for a few years. It corrected the issue - for a few months. My legs straightened out over time but I still walk with my toes turned in. It's not a problem. When a couple of my daughters had the same issue, the doctors said not to worry about it unless it interfered with walking. Like me, they never grew out of it, but they grew up fine. Chell will too.
My 3-year-old was so adamant about not going potty and then we just took a few days to JUST focus on potty training.... took us 2 weeks and she got it!
SO glad y'all are okay! Good reflexes Cory. Do whatever works for you guys for potty training. But if she's not ready it may be a one step forward one step backward for a while. My kids trained right around their 3rd birthday because they were ready then. I will say that pull-ups made it a longer process for my first. We just did straight to undies in a weekend for my second. Much easier.
My daughter is four. Advice on the potty training is - when they're ready. My daughter was 2.5yrs. She understood what we were saying, could communicate it back.
I needed a splint as a baby in the 80's. My left foot turned in. My mom put me in a box when i slept because of how I was splinted- my feet stuck up and outward when I was on my back. My brother had the splint too but got his feet caught in the crib rungs so she found out a box would keep me safer in the crib til I didn't need the splint anymore. I'm happy Chell doesn't need anything like that.
When I worked at Rocketdyne, we watched EVERY shuttle launch. Of course, the engineers were watching for performance, but the rest of us were just boggled at that massive weight going up into the sky, ever faster. The videos are either here on YT, or on one of many NASA sites, they are all public domain. I wonder if Chell would enjoy watching them?
My son-in-law was so into flying, remote planes and other stuff and really wanted to take flying lessons! Well he did and guess what? He didn't like flying at all! So Cory, before you buy a plane, try taking flying lessons! Don't worry Chell's legs will get better as she grows! Have fun!
That end part when chell got stuck with a needle was so funny because I have a phobia of needles and that is literally what I’m like every time a needle is even in the room
Hello ! I don't usually comment but my baby brother used to have bowlegs. His pediatrician told my mum to switch his shoes like right shoe on left foot :) now he's more than fine :p
How is Kristen feeling? I noticed that she looks a little depressed, even when she smiles, it doesn't seem authentic. A couple of people in my family suffer from depression and by observing them I can sense that. I just wonder if she is ok, I really hope so! Much love for all of you!
One of our babies years ago we had to just do exercises thank heavens. I have seen the bars, but exercises worked. He was smaller though then Chell. I am glad you had her checked, I was worried but would not say anything. We look back and think how our first son was our practice child lol, he had to put up with us as new parents.
Good luck on the potty training. I wished I had some helpful tips. We tried lots of different potty training tips but my girls just wasn't interested. My girls was 3 when they finally became potty trained. Their pediatrician said that it was common for some children to potty train later than others.
I was born with the opposite condition: my knees were always stuck together 😂 my legs formed an x, but after some exercises and training I was totally fine... I think Chell's walking is so cute! She is the most beautiful girl I've ever seen😍
You did great and prevented your family from getting hurt. I'm so glad you're all okay! Btw adrenaline is a great thing, it made me put my kneecap back in when it snapped out of place in January :D
That place looks so awesome!! I know I had a friend who's son had to go into braces. BUT it was SUPER bad bow legs. And I believe it was before he even started walking.
my next door neighbor was out of the Air Force (1980) got a job as a Air Traffic Controller where i live Fremont CA. Then they went on strike and they were all let go. with all the advancements in technology since, i have to think its a little less stressful than back then? Back in my generation (born 1955) they used to make kids wear braces for bowed legs, btw i was raised in CA, the only time we wore shoes was outside the house. by the 70’s doctors realized if left alone they would probably correct themselves. besides you guys had the full spectrum lights in your house in Alaska. bowed legs usually does run in families, just like being tall. oh my son was the size of a two year old at age one, but by the time he entered first grade his growth had slowed down and he was normal size. now he’s 6 ft. i knew a girl that was almost as tall as the teacher in first grade! by high school she had stopped growing so much and i was taller than she was. its just crazy and hard to predict so don’t even try. everybody is unique.
I was bowlegged when I was born. Another name for it is pigeon toed. Only thing is I never grew out of it. It actually got worse as I grew up. I had a derotation done on them when I was nine and it fixed it. I really hope she'll grows out of it cause there is nothing worse for a kid then not being able to play with their friends because they are in a wheelchair. Then on crutches learning how to walk again.
Whoa. If she ended up BESIDE you she would have hit you so hard. Oh my god. I'm so glad you got out of the way.
Victoria Farmer Yeah, no doubt. It was scary and just missed us by inches.
I'm glad you thought fast! I think those could be considered Dad reflexes of legend!
probably on her phone
Did she say anything to you?!
Thank God He protected you.

So caffeine works like an adrenaline rush but harms your heart? No caffeine Cory - your family needs you!

Great driving reaction Corey! You just spared a lot of injuries and grief.

Dad hacks, sensory board with buttons and switches
WOOT WOOT our ASTROS WON!!!! I'm so excited for them.
Rigged to reward houston for the hurricane, no doubt...
tbb033 WOW 😮!!! Really??!!??!!?
I can't get over just how adorable Chell is. She is so darn precious ❤
Haven't been to air and space museum there in a long time, but it is really neat. Glad you feel much better. Love watching every day. Can't wait to see what you do for dad hacks.
I'm so glad you all are enjoining Tulsa. Welcome!
Cory, it felt good because you were the HERO of the day! Good move.
Glad you are feeling better, Cory.
Hope you enjoyed the Astros and Dodgers first ever Super Bowl! Hope they didn’t drop the puck and scored plenty of three pointers! 😜
shawna brown 😂😂😂
shawna brown lol, but they did manage to pull a few birdies out while the other team only hit gutter balls their rackets.
Hahaha....good one
lol!!!
All those powerbombs on the unpadded cement, that had to hurt!
So glad you guys are ok! Definitely got a little nervous about the screeching tires and black screen. Way to go Cory for having quick puma-like reflexes!
I was wondering what you meant by "Video games saved our families lives". I'm so happy that you didn't get hit! Great job Cory!
Don’t know why I’m just noticing this, I freaking love yalls channel banner ❤️❤️❤️
So proud of the Astro’s!!!! Houston proud 👍🏼
Jen L is too. Each of my 3 kids potty trained within the two week mark of their third bday (my son was almost 5, but he’s mentally adjusted to 3).
Neither of my children potty trained before age 3. I just waited until they were ready to do it. Saved a lot of frustration.
Defensive driving, however one learns it, is a wonderful thing. Glad ya'll are safe.
It is super great that you thought so fast to protect your family!
Go Astros!!!! It was great!!! I’m glad y’all talked about Chell and her legs. I’ve been concerned about them since she started walking. I never thought about her potentially needing braces, and I’m so glad that she doesn’t need them. God’s continued blessings for your sweet family. 😊🕊🌈❤️
That last part was awesome. Love your family
Also I wanted to add that was a great job driving there! I certainly would feel very safe in a car with you!!
We won we won we won !!!!!!!!!!! Yay Astros. Love watching your family.
You said no more broken people vids... so , you have done well. Stay save.. I do hope the lady learnd her lesson ...
Oh my god, thank goodness for video games! Cory you’re a boss, so happy you’re all okay.
Cory you have fangs! Lol never noticed that!
Omg I love that globe lawn ornament!
Great driving Cory !!!
Chell is going through a huge growth spurt! I think Cory and Chell need a train table for Christmas.
My son was born with bowlegs because of the way he was positioned in the womb. I was told they would straighten out as he grows.
Good job Cory saving your family!
Football legs I called them from the beginning. It is far better then in the beginning.
It is amazing how Chell is not afraid of most of things.
I was born with the opposite condition: my knees were always stuck together 😂 my legs formed an x, but after some exercises and training I was totally fine...
I think Chell's walking is so cute! She is the most beautiful girl I've ever seen😍
Start saving now Cory! (for your plane) - I believe you'll get there - it's so you :) Chell is a lovely little girl x
Lime juice with water first thing helps people absorb more vitamin D too. She is adorable!
my next door neighbor was out of the Air Force (1980) got a job as a Air Traffic Controller where i live Fremont CA.
Super early!! Love watching you guys! Definitely do it Cory, I loved it when I piloted a plane at 13 and would love to get a get my licence! x
Chell is so adorable. I can't believe how big she is. She's so big!
