I am glad Chell is all right . I bet Kristens folks kern thinking what is Corey up to now . ..as they slowly walk into the bathroom . Lol. Never a dull moment with that guy. Lol.
A little FYI for the future, any time Chell has a fever keep her in next to nothing and give her a cool bath. My middle daughter was a very sickly child and would also get seizures from her fevers....scarry as hell let me tell you....BUT..we were told by our doctor that keeping her basically as naked as possible and cool baths along with the baby Motrin (my kids had bad reactions to Tylenol) would do the trick.
ADHD is mostly genetic, the mold/fever theory seems unlikely. But you know, even if Chell does have it (which is fairly likely with you as a dad), do not fear it. What will be will be, worrying won't solve anything anyways, but I am certain she will be fine whether she has it or not. She has parents aware of what ADHD is and how to function with it, and that's a gift. Growing up not knowing and being told you are lazy and reckless, thinking you are maybe crazy or something, is way worse.
With as good as psychology/medicine has gotten, they’re finding things like autism and adhd/add being linked to genes. If Chell or your other kids had it, wouldn’t it be great they had a dad with it too, who understands what they’re going through and help them out? ☺️
Wow. That must have been rough. I was finally diagnosed with ADD in my 40s. I had a lot of trouble paying attention when I was younger. Still do, sometimes. I'm like the dog that gets distracted by the squirrel. LOL
Definitely, hereditary. I passed it down to my oldest son. The way it affects him is very different than how it affects me. Mine is attention. He's impatient, near perfectionist, and too smart for his own good.
lol, the blood bath makes me think of your noodle bath XD. I laughed so hard about that sketch. But don't you worry that you will feel so greassy again?
Cory, you know we all love the grey - no need to worry or ask us what we think 😄 It's only about how you feel about it ☺ But it really does look good on you 😉😊
My son has never seen a cat in real life (he’s around Chell’s age) and at the end, Sparta is on the screen and he just kissed the kitty over and over. (We only have dogs) but he liked it!
I LOVE IT - keep it natural - the chemicals involved are worse for you than the natural look - it's handsome and manly and beautiful! KEEP IT NATURAL!!!
As far as i know fever doesn't cause ADD. ADD and ADHD are mostly genes but can also be caused by living conditions (the combination mostly does the trick) Luckily your Mom was good people but weird/bad living conditions and stress as a child can cause add. There is a great chance Chell has ADD too in her genes but with this super understanding and supportive Family it probably won't develop at all and she will totally deal with it like a champ! you wont even notice.
LittleHappyBeing That is interesting. I never heard that before, but I can understand how unstable living conditions would affect brain development, anxiety, fidgety behavior.
Cory, ADD, ADHD is not caused by fever, you are born with it. If Chell has it, she will show signs when she is around three. Honestly your child is developing wonderfully at her age, I had thought to myself countless times watching your videos saying" wow she is a smart kid." And if she does have ADD or ADHD, I know that she will still grow up great because of you and Kristen, you are going to raise her right. And look at you, you have ADD and you turned out great. If you are worried and see signs of ADD/ ADHD in her, there are so many ways you can support her. My parents saw my behavior and academic struggles and right away took action and helped me through it. I took Adderall until I was old enough to make the decision to stop taking it and learn how to control it by myself. I struggled with it throughout school and still do, but I know that it's not as bad. I'm in my 2nd year of college now and majoring in Communications- Public Relations and I know that I have come so far without Adderall. ADD/ADHD is different for everyone, but I know everything will turn out just fine.
You seem a little bit more chilled out, Cory. Your eyes arent gouging with excitement with every sentence you say anymore. E-drinks were rly bad for ya haha
Cory, you probably aren't going to want to hear this, but I think the lighter hair actually makes you look younger. If you decide to let the top grow out as well, you will look fantastic. However, it is your head...you're in charge! I would have freaked over Chell having a 103 fever. So glad Mark was there to walk you thru things and that the Tylenol did such a great job at pulling her fever down. Good job you two! Cuddling with mom when I was sick was the only thing that helped me feel better. Kristen, I'm so glad you are able to keep the applesauce down. I hope your morning sickness leaves you soon. I saw Loki up and walking around. I was so relieved that his tumor was benign. Best news all week!
Poor sweet Chell. My heart breaks for her I know how you feel when my daughter is sick my heart goes out to her. I will pray for her to feel better.I love you guys!!! Hi everyone hope you are having a blessed week and enjoying it!!
Love your grey hair Cory. My husband went grey in his 20's and is now 80. He has a beautiful grey beard too. Younger gret haired men are so attractive. Love your channel and your family and animals. Best wishes from New Zealand. If you havent veen here it may be a great place to visit someday. You woukd love it our outdoors are unique and amazing. Robynxxx
I’ve said it before, seeing you and Kristen with grey hairs makes me feel so much better about my own - been getting more and more since I was 17, and now I love them ☺️ Love the grey hair club!
My 12y/o started getting his big grey patches 3 years ago. We refer to it as the colour women pay a small fortune for, so isn't he lucky! So he is happily in the grey hair club too. :D
I actually love how perfectly gray it looks on the sides. It is actually a very lovely color too. It gives you a cool look in how your hair is styled right now. You can rock it.
Could be roseola, my daughter had it at about that age, pretty common for young kids. 3 days of high fever, 103-105, was able to keep it down rotating ibuprofen & tylenol (ibuprofen worked the best). Fever broke on day 4 and then a rash will flare up for a couple days. We went to the doc and thats what they suspected too with the high fever with no other symptoms.
I love Kristen so much! I love that she knows what a fever does and didn't freak out and instead just paid attention to her baby girl and did what was best for her! She and Cory are such amazing parents
Little creeks like that tend to have tadpoles and frogs. It's pretty cool. I went down by a small river and saw a bunch of tadpoles swimming around lol
This video just made me smile. All too often fevers are thought of as big scary things that need lots of medical intervention, when that is not true. Always treat the symptoms first. A fever at 100 can be just as dangerous as a fever of 105. It all depends on how the child is behaving. When a fever is that high, the only accurate temperature is taken rectally. Not pleasant, but much more accurate. You guys are such great parents!!!
I love the oldies, too, but I'm old. 😁 So glad Chell is doing better. My son's Pediatrician always said fevers were there to fight off whatever is going on in his system, so long as they don't get too high for too long. When he was 2 yrs old he had a fever so high that he was hallucinating. We gave him children's Tylenol and wiped him down with a lukewarm cloth. Within a few hours, he was fine. No other symptoms. It was scary, though and I did call the doctor in a panic.
Loved Sparta helping Kristen at the end of the video, I love his deep purrs. Glad Chell is feeling better. If Chell does have an attention disorder, I know both of you will be right beside her to help. I believe it is Cory's ADD that contributes to his child like wonder of the world that brought me to all your channels and continues to lift me up. Thank you!! Re grey hair, Steve Martin is a favorite and he was white haired very young. Plus I would rather see grey than continuous hats. Plus Cory was in the shade when he "showed" the grey hair...really couldn't see it. It is your hair man, do what make you happy.😃👍🏻
Good idea to wait until you get done with that video. Also like the idea of going with a slightly lighter color of brown next time you color it. If you color it. You could keep the "silver fox" look LOL ☺
I love the guest appearance by the Mean Kitty! Nice to see him standing by (lying by?). Do the cats sense the new baby yet? I remember the sweet video showing both cats cuddling up with Kristen during her last pregnancy. I know you were farther along at that point, but maybe they learned it then and sense that something's happening again. Anyway, thanks for that. So glad that Chell is feeling better.
Kristen, I had a concrete floor like that in my basement growing up and I did the exact same thing! I had a pair of roller skates and would skate back and forth in that basement to 60's, 70's, 80's and....Spice Girls music! No shame in being a nerd! Embrace it, it's awesome!
I received the big mean kitty book in the mail this last weekend! I was super excited! My 3 year old loved it! And I just now showed her the music video. She made me play it 4 times in a row (would have been all day if she got her way) she kept laughing at certain parts and tried singing the chorus lol she currently asking me to play it again lol.
Our Pediatrician always tells me to try to to break the fever 1st- by cool (not cold, like room temp water) bathes, alternate between motrin and tylenol (ask your ped. what doses to use) and wait 24 hours if it's under 103. Also if they act fine, still playing and drinking and peeing normal, then it's not a big concern. You guys did the right thing! Hope Chell feels better soon. ♡ -from a parent of a toddler
I love these vlogs. I feel really awful most of the time, like why am I even here kind of awful. But watching your videos - seeing your beautiful and calming home, you're wonderful family unit, and seeing how lovely your life is - means that for a while I can be part of your life instead of mine. So thank you for that, I really appreciate you guys 😊💖
BTW, in that wide area of the creek, dig it deeper to about 3' then pour in a little bentonite clay and you'll have yourself a natural pond. Then add fishies.
My mom says when I was a little older than Chell she had to take me to the emergency room with a bad fever. The nurse didn't believe my mom that I was very ill because I was happily organizing a game of train using the chairs in the emergency room. The nurse took my temperature just to calm my mom down but was shocked how high of a fever I had. The nurse looked at me and said "at least try to act like you're sick young lady and took me straight to a room. LoL BTW- I had to go to the emergency room every time I got a fever because sometimes that signals that my seizure was gonna start. Cory, your hair looks cool like that.
My kiddo was like this when she was sick. No other symptoms, just a high fever, usually ended up being an ear infection. Hopefully she feels better soon!
A few months ago my then almost 3 yr old ran a fever of 103.9F for 5 days, but came down with Tylenol, or cool sponge baths, our ped told me I did the right thing by monitoring his temp often and keeping him hydrated. As scary as it was my poor guy just caught a bad bug. Had Tylenol not brought the fever down off to the ER I would have gone. Hope Chell is feeling better today.
I'm not a parent, so I openly admit I definitely don't know everything, but this is what I've been told by friends and family who do have young kids is this. As the child gets older start preparing for them to catch the flu and get sick more frequently simply because they're spending more time around other kids close in age. Little kids grab everything, they don't really wash their hands unless prompted by their parents or other adults, and they'll happily go out in the rain or other bad weather wearing nothing (or nearly nothing) if that looks like a fun idea. Basically kids are a walking germ factory, expect for them to get sick and be prepared. Heres hoping Chell feels better soon.
Even if she might be sick some babies are more fussy when they are sick. Like adults sometimes they just get tired and grumpy. I hope she gets better soon!
Don't panic! Kids get sick all the time especially if they are in school around other kids. Unless it's something super crazy then I would just treat things at home unless the get worse.
When children are sick, they often compensate quite well, which is how they are better able to carry on. While it can be a problem with more serious illnesses, it does help them cope with the more minor sicknesses they can get. Also, you did do the right thing not going to the doctor for all sorts of reasons, but especially because without specific symptoms, it makes it difficult to diagnose & treat, meaning that blood work has to be done. And if it's a 24 hour thing that isn't serious, you're putting a sick child through that for no reason, not to mention, potentially exposing them to other sicknesses too. The main thing to keep an eye out for is fever accompanied by loss of consciousness, or any potential symptoms of meningitis (Dr. Google will tell you or I'll be going on forever), or a prolonged fever, more than 24 hours. Having said this, if it hits 104+ , ER right away! Like I said, children compensate for a while & a 104 is serious no matter what. If a baby is still compensating at 104 & it turns out to be serious, they could fall very sick very suddenly.
I started getting greys at 16, I notice more and more all the time. At first I hated them and I'd pluck them out, but now I love them. I think you should keep it.
Glad Chell is feeling better! Don't fret none about your hair! I've been going grey since my late teens or early 20's. I've been letting my 6 year old choose my hair colors for me since he was 2! Pick a couple different colors that you can live with and let Chell choose for you! LOL Have fun with it! It's just hair.
I have to say, Chell looks to be a great cuddler. I envy Angela getting to do Grandma hugs with her.,...My 3 Great Grands are so far away. I gotta go look at Facebook to see if there are any new pix of mine. Hope Chell gets all better quickly.
Cory -- instead of drinking soda of any kind (it's all bad!), try drinking sparkling mineral water with a splash of either cranberry or grape juice. By the way, what I mean by a splash is actually about 1/8th of the total glass amount.
My son had a high fever like that once with no other symptoms. Then a few days later a rash showed up. 😟 Watch her for a rash on her chest and arms. It maybe roseola. But, it could have just been a fever. Hope she feels better soon.
It could be her teething causing the fever. best way to check is to put some teething gel on her gums to see if the fussing subsides a little and give tylenol to help bring the fever down. Baths also help bring a temp down good, if you check the bath temp it will go up when her temp goes down, its pretty cool! :) PS. Cory your hair looks great natural
Apples should be in season in OK. Apple sauce is really easy to make an easy to freeze. Makeing it yourself gives you control of the amount of sugar. If you have a deep freezer you can save it for a long period of time.
Cory , the grey in your hair makes you look very mature (not a bad thing). That being said only you can decide what you're comfortable with and what makes YOU happy.
Cory, regardless of what color your hair is you are a very handsome man. The grey hair does make you look older but also very dapper. Like George Clooney! But always do what makes you happy! Stay strong, be happy!
If Cory is really worried about black mold, there are ways to test for it. Also, poor Cory, kids just get sick with little colds and who-knows-the-name-of-it fevers sometimes. They usually come through just fine.
Aw, baby fevers (or any childhood fevers) are pretty scary, but this might help: recently there's been a lot of viruses going around where you have a high fever and are exhausted, but have no other "illness" symptoms. I've had it twice recently (caught it, shared it, got it back again) and it was all just unexplained high fevers. However, I'm glad you didn't panic and drag her to the doctor. You two are FANTASTIC parents!❤👪❤
I like the gray hair let it grow. I believe that ADD or ADHD can be related to early childhood traumas, something happening that keeps a child cycling in fight flight or freeze in the amygdala portion of the brain until that’s the way the brain is then ‘wired’ for lack of a better word. Children then have difficulty focusing or controlling impulses. I’ve heard that biofeedback therapy helps these children. Biofeedback therapy is like a game and it helps to ‘rewire’ the brains activities. I’ve heard that this also helps with PTSD and depression. I thought it was interesting. Teething sometimes causes those fever spikes.
Poor Chell. Glas she seems better. Personally I think the grey suits you great Cory, but in the end its all about what makes you feel good about yourself! Take a few days and see how it feels.
Corey For what it may be worth, you're amazing regardless of what you do with your hair. Same with Kristen and Chell. However, I can relate to your feelings about your hair. My hair does what it wants and usually doesn't turn out quite the way I would like. I just got my hair done a few days ago and I am definitely trying to adjust, and figure out what do with it. I've gotten compliments for it but I'm still adjusting. Remember, though, that you are amazing, inside and out!
I think part of Chell's fever is because she's still teething. I know from the stories my mom's told that I had terrible fevers and stomachaches when I was teething. Especially when the molars started coming in. Just keep her on a light diet for a little bit, since she's more than likely swallowing a tiny bit of blood while the teeth are cutting through her gums.
My son did the same. He had a 102 fever, seemed to feel ok but slept a lot. He kicked the fever in 2 days and got a cough and runny nose later but still feels fine. I hope Chell gets to feeling much better
Watch Cory's Bloodbath video!

LiveEachDay It's bloody awesome.
I am glad Chell is all right . I bet Kristens folks kern thinking what is Corey up to now . ..as they slowly walk into the bathroom . Lol. Never a dull moment with that guy. Lol.
Poor Chell, she's so cute when she's cuddly. But it's not fun that she's sick :c I wish her a speedy recovery!
Duckkis Yeah Poor Chell
It's not gray Cory it's Chrome. Embrace your wisdom which is your hair

ADHD in females is very different than males. I wasn’t diagnosed until I hit menopause, and my coping mechanisms no longer worked.
With as good as psychology/medicine has gotten, they’re finding things like autism and adhd/add being linked to genes. If Chell or your other kids had it, wouldn’t it be great they had a dad with it too, who understands what they’re going through and help them out? ☺️
bluefeather56 I have a similar story. Diagnosed at 58. Early diagnosis would have been nice.

I completely forgot about the noodle bath. Thanks for reminding me XD
Cory your hair looks awesome...and you're right you do have a littleFinger vibe going!! Get well soon chell!!
Cory, you know we all love the grey - no need to worry or ask us what we think 😄 It's only about how you feel about it ☺ But it really does look good on you 😉😊
You look amazing!!!!! Keep it this way. I too am struggling with going gray. My brother went grey at 18! He has rocked the grey since.
My son has never seen a cat in real life (he’s around Chell’s age) and at the end, Sparta is on the screen and he just kissed the kitty over and over. (We only have dogs) but he liked it!

Get well sweet baby Chell!! Prayers for you!!
Feel better chell baby
I think the gray makes you look even more classy than you already are.
So glad Chell is feeling better. It really is no fun with babies are sick. Can't wait to see Cory's video. Happy Thursday.
Poor sweet Chell. My heart breaks for her I know how you feel when my daughter is sick my heart goes out to her. I will pray for her to feel better.I love you guys!!! Hi everyone hope you are having a blessed week and enjoying it!!
Get better sweet Chell!! Hugs to you my little buddy!!🤗🐣🐞
The fever could be from teething.
Not a fever that high.
could have been a slight cold or just a fever
Glad chell is feeling better. Loved the ending!
Not the babeh!
But seriously, get better, Chell!

Cory - If your just trying to avoid caffeine but soda is ok then either suggest Root Beer or Hansen's soda
Animator22 Root beer is tricky too. Barq's has caffeine even though most do not.
stop trying to give him soda
My choice of non caffeinated soda like drinks is La Croix flavored water
I actually love how perfectly gray it looks on the sides. It is actually a very lovely color too. It gives you a cool look in how your hair is styled right now. You can rock it.

Prayers that Chell is still feeling better and Cory I think your hair looks fine either way. Do whatever makes you feel the best.
You should keep your hair that way. Salt & Pepper hair on a man looks nice.

LoL
BTW- I had to go to the emergency room every time I got a fever because sometimes that signals that my seizure was gonna start.
Cory, your hair looks cool like that.
You look so good! Everyone's natural hair color always looks the best on them. I hope Chell gets better soon.
My kiddo was like this when she was sick. No other symptoms, just a high fever, usually ended up being an ear infection. Hopefully she feels better soon!
I absolutely loving the hair!!! Reece from Fantastic 4! ❤️❤️
Hope Chell is feeling better today.
chills usually means the flu :( but I hope not it is cold and flu season, just keep a good eye on her
My pediatrician has said be worried when she stops playing.
Looks like the bouncy ball would be a GREAT cat toy!
I think the grey is very distinguished looking and you could totally rock it. But you have to do what makes you feel good!
I'm so glad Chelsea OK bless her heart its not nice seeing your child poorly
Love the grey Cory, please keep it. So glad Chell is on the mend 🙏🏻X
Feel better Chell 💜
9:54 OMG BABY BUMP!! 💞💞💞💞💞
Love the grey, Cory ! You look very dapper ! The new and improved Richard Gere look 👍🏻👍🏻
I'm so glad Chell is ok, and Cory. I love silver sides. You look great.
You are looking good Cory!
Happy to know Chell is ok!
Poor Chell! Get better little beautiful girl!
PS.
They usually come through just fine.
your gray is rockin dude, don't dye it.
Dude! Your hair is awesome! Praying the little one is feeling better soon...
Corey
For what it may be worth, you're amazing regardless of what you do with your hair.
Oh, and one more thing: Have you heard that gray hair is a sign of wisdom?
I think part of Chell's fever is because she's still teething. I know from the stories my mom's told that I had terrible fevers and stomachaches when I was teething. Especially when the molars started coming in. Just keep her on a light diet for a little bit, since she's more than likely swallowing a tiny bit of blood while the teeth are cutting through her gums.
My son did the same. He had a 102 fever, seemed to feel ok but slept a lot. He kicked the fever in 2 days and got a cough and runny nose later but still feels fine. I hope Chell gets to feeling much better
Love u guys
Keep off that coffé Cory👍
