There's a deleted scene when the "native Hawaiians" are driving Butters to their resort, and when they pass some actual ethnic Hawaiians, Butters asks 'Who are those people?' and they tell him "Those are just some Mexicans. They're harmless."
Tbh, Butters is right at this point. Kenny has become the most decent from the 4 friends (even it will be brought up again in the Post COVID special). Being a pervert turned out to be the lowest flaw, the others have done worse things. Cartman, no need to be in detail about him; Kyle, he loses it when he feels Cartman wants to screw with him; and Stan, well, let's put that life and his parents have screw him a lot so he became an a*******.
Fun fact: Havai-e is actually the native pronunciation of Hawaii! Though clearly Butters nor is extended family are native Hawaiian, despite claiming to be. An actual issue that many Hawaiian Natives have been speaking out about. Just shows how nuanced South Park can be lol
Just realized that in this episode Cartman was doing what Butters usually does, which is run into the scene with some news or telling them what is happening

Then they have the nerve to get mad at you if you aren't "always smiling because you're in paradise." The effed up part is that they declare it their primary residence so that they don't have to pay state taxes anywhere else, which raises the "local" income average, which in turn raises rent for people that are actually from here.
I’m a born and raised Native Hawaiian and in Hawaiian, the w is pronounced like a v like in wai which means ‘water’ or ‘ocean’, so the way Butters’ dad pronounced Hawai’i isn’t wrong but it also wasn’t perfect but no biggy. And haole is what we call white people basically

Stan "after all he did to us" Butters said ONE thing to each of them and it was all true. Have they forgotten all they did to butters in the earlier seasons? They made him stick balls to his chin and go on live tv, they forced him to become obese then performed a diy surgery at home where they cut him open and sucked the fat out with a straw, they cut his eye open with a blade then made him pretend to be a dog so they wouldnt get in trouble at the hospital, they replaced him with tweek, they made him fake his death, and so many more things and now stan wants to act like they've never done anything wrong and that butters of ALL PEOPLE is a bad friend. He said ONE mean thing and stan has the audacity to be offended even tho this was clearly a call for help, not to mention that stan is literal besties with cartmen (the literal devil incarnate) who says/does worse things on the regular and stan lets happen. This is why even tho people say stan and kyle are the same character i dont like stan. Stan is such a by stander (all those times he never says anything to cartmen when kyle and him fight even tho cartmen is always crossing the line) and only cares about himself (which is also established in the butters bullying episode ) Butters > kyle > kenny > stan > cartmen
Stan isnt "besties" with Cartman, stop the cap. And he doesnt protest against Cartmans actions because he knows thats not going to do anything, he just avoids interfiring as much as possible. He failed when trying to infiltrate Cartman's amusement park, in the smurfs episode he just complained about his book and that was it and in the breast cancer one he didnt cooperate with Cartmans bullshit. So no, he's far from being "besties" with Cartman. And the only caring about himself is just straight up cap. He obviously cares about Chef (rip), Kenny (Kenny dies), obviously kyle, even Cartman (in the tonsil trouble he seemed concerned unlike Kyle who just laughed at the irony of the situation. Is he a hypocrite at times?, yes, no one's denying that. But he learns from the mistakes he makes. Since the first break up with wendy, he had a clear change in his behavior, like all the other characters, but the bigger difference is that his more childish behavior went away. Season 18 break up, what changed? His selfishness, he realized that his decision in basically giving everyone the middle finger and leave school for his and his friends business was a douchy selfish thing to do since it gave the impression that everyone was like npcs to him and the others. About Butters, is it alright to basically abuse a friend? Obviously not. The problem here was Butters's gullibleness since the start. He was always a "follower". He always let people lead him, do whatever they want. Is it nice of him? Yes. Is it good? No. By allowing the boys to always emply all this crazy shit to him it made them even more confortable in experimenting more with him, so they end up thinking that he enjoys that stuff, because he agrees to do absurd stunts that the boys fund funny/are interested in. Ofc that this gullibleness is his parents' fault but its unnecessary to discuss about them. Basically they thought messing with butters wasnt a big deal because he willjngly went along with the stunts. What Stan did was morally wrong and I agree with that, but you can't put all the blame in him when everybody had the same thought as well (otherwise someone would have manifested). Does he "bully" Butters from here on foward? Not that I remember Oh btw, about the Change in behavior from the first break up with wendy: notice how against cartman he is when cartman keeps taking pictures of Butters when hes asleep? If it were in the early seasons he would probably have laughed as well but here he doesnt find it funny at all, and if tried to stop him like kyle usually does, it would probably end up putting him in trouble because, come on, its cartman (he easily made stan grounded in the black friday trilogy). Stan is the average kid. He makes mistakes, learns from them and grows up mentally. So you seeing him like this and ignoring the most recent seasons is just, bleh

Hawaiians call American Howley's because there's a origin story about a group of cowboys that went to Hawaii for vacation which was the first experience Hawaiians supposedly had with cowboy Americans being Tourrest and supposedly the American Cowboys keep yelling "YEE-HAAAA!!!!!!" While drunk and kept pronouncing Hawaii the same way we do as Americans while natives to Hawaii pronounce it "Havaii" with a v instead of a w. So them every American is known as a Howley all because of that first impression of those cowboys 🤣. And yep Jennifer Gardner was Elektra.
Actually "Ha-vai-ee" is how natives pronounce it. Also, the whole "white Hawaiians" thing is an interesting but terrible story of how white people constantly ruin things. White missionaries came to the island long ago to teach Christianity to the Hawaiian natives. Of course, they also took advantage of the women there and had mixed, mostly white offspring. As island born natives, they continued to spread and now, there are actual white Hawaiians. Sadly, they also helped overthrow the monarchy in Hawaii and made it part of the US. Which is odd, because Hawaii, Guam and Puerto Rico are US territories but citizens aren't allowed to vote for the presidency
@@DisfunktionalTV No doubt in this episode Butters was so done with everyone's crap. And by everyone, I mean everyone who took advantage of him and bullied him.
What if Butters and his parents never moved to Colorado? Then his friends would be different and would not trouble Butters! The family would enjoy the beach That would be a completely different timeline if he were to stay in Hawaii forever!

Love the fact that Butters has probably the highest kill count on this show but he doesn't do it as Professor Chaos
Y'all ready for this one! Lets run it baby. Lets get it, lets...Gooooo!
This is one of my all time favorites
14:14 That laugh is infectious XD
8:52 Just hear the whole narrative.
Oh, Kenny is so eloquent, and then... What a pervert.
Pretty underrated episode.
Not really, its pretty known because of butters snapping
And because of the "Bunny" ship
Its crazy how much funnier the old south park episodes are to the new
BRO OMG 😂😂 i literally looked up this episode reaction from you earlier today and was sad not to see one!! Let’s gooooo
Hope you enjoyed it!
@@DisfunktionalTVjust finished, 100% 🙏🏽
@@pgvo1119 thank you fam 💪🏽
@@DisfunktionalTV No doubt in this episode Butters was so done with everyone's crap. And by everyone, I mean everyone who took advantage of him and bullied him.
The ammount of heat Afleck has gotten from matt and trey over the years is crazy
Kenny didn’t die 👌🏾
By this episode’s standards, I am a native Hawaiian since I go there once a year XD
OH YES! not sure if this is because I asked but so glad to see someone else react to this episode :)
looked it up, apparently a chi-chi is almost a pina colada, it's vodka instead of rum
Ah yes, the episode that started another ship
What if Butters and his parents never moved to Colorado?
Then his friends would be different and would not trouble Butters!
The family would enjoy the beach
That would be a completely different timeline if he were to stay in Hawaii forever!
I love this episode this is a good one I have done some research and found out that Hawaii was never a state in the union it was never part of the US it was forcibly occupied
11:00 nice shot butters
Yeah… and I’m a native Balinese person. /s
0:54 Butters is right though lol
The Funny Part is that Ben Affleck actually ends up marrying Jennifer Lopez so Butters got screwed over lol
I wonder if Butter's kill count is higher than Cartman's
Seeing the who’re folks sounding as if they are true Hawaiian natives reminds me of my friends or some kids being weebs
South Park episodes that u highly recommended ( plz use my episodes listed below. So I can make a new list of episodes that u highly recommend and most OG episodes.)
• S4 E5: Cartman joins NAMBLA
• S5 E11: here comes the neighorhood ( token episode ft. Will smith)
• Bouns track 🔥🔥
• S10 E8: Make love, not Warcraft
• S15 E7/E8: you’re getting old and A$$ burgers
it should be no secret that this is my second favorite butters episode (just barely beat out by Butter's Bottom Bee Itch)
Hey, I would take Jennifer Garner or Lopez, idc which. Both are pretty good options as far as I'm concerned. 😅 Although Jessica Biel would still be my top pick.
What's Butters gonna do now since Ben Affleck is married to JLo?
Tua Tagovailoa's Grand kids be like...
yeah nobody ever really mentions that Butters has killed more ppl than any other character in the series haha
I DONT GIVE A DARN
Hiii, I love Your Reactions! It makes me feel like that I have a buddy to watch South Park Videos with. Your Reactions are so funny, and exciting, keep up the Amazing Work! ✌😎🔥
Thats love bro thank you!
@@DisfunktionalTV 😃 Thank You Too! 😁
I love Kenneth's letters home.
Kenny You Are My Hero ❤😂 Hero Never Die
Ok but why did butters go off jimmy? Hes even more nicer than butters. Jimmy didn't deserve that lol
Here's hoping you check out the St Patrick's Day special! It has Butters and Randy in it
Am happy Kenny was not dead
They aren’t pissed off because they’re drunk😂
