I’ve been single for 9 years🤦🏾♀️ God must be really shielding me from toxic relationships. What bothers me about being single for so long is when people be like “ How long you been single again?” 🙄
I just typed in "single for past five years", with tears in my eyes. The only thing I was looking for out of this was comfort, to feel as though I'm not alone and it's ok! Shit. I never thought I'd be here in my life, I guess it is what it is.
I hope all is well with you! I just got engaged last month so I wanted to follow up because I understand where you're at and I had a lot of moments that I felt extremely sad and lonely. Pour into yourself as much as you can. Take in all the lessons you're learning during this period. It's tough, but if I had to do it all over again to have what I have today, I absolutely would. I've been single for 6-7 years and at first I was unhappy trying to get love from someone who didn't want to give it to me. But 2-4 years ago the process very slowly began and I started embrace it and live my truth. I thank the Lord I'm single even though I fought it at the beginning but because of this fact I know I will never settle for less because I have learnt to be happy in myself. I don't need anybody to fulfil me. Im open to love but not desperate for love. But if I don't find love, I'm enough. A lot of the people I say this to don't get it because they are still chasing love, which is ok. But for me I just embrace the happiness I have, I'm happy I am not in a toxic situation where I feel less than enough, because I won't settle for anyone who doesn't align with my life. People need to find themselves it's so liberating.

it is going on six years for me. I have days where I feel lonely but it only lasts a few minutes. Ive been deep in my healing journey. deep in self love. Ive made a choice to be single. Its not that I don't want love. It is that I desire to meet a partner who has done their inner work and is ready to meet in the heart space. the first 3 to 4 years was hard. but once I started traveling and doing my inner healing, Im coming into acceptance.
I've been single for 10 years come July my choice, and it has its ups and downs. Thank you for your words of encouragement👍

Singleness is the time to really get to know yourself, just as you said. I don’t think that the question is ever why are you single, that’s a given we are single by nature. The question is always who or what has ever made you want to give up your singleness. Given up singleness should never be taken likely. Just my thoughts. Hang in there, your doing fine. Blessings.

I admire your journey very similar to mine. I had been single 7-8 years. I thoroughly enjoy my own company ( I laugh at myself all the time). Same with me! All I ever see around me is people getting married, having kids, and having a lot of friends at my age so I always think I must be the only one going through this, so to see other women in my position is so relieving. I have truly been going through a lot and have at some points not wanted to be alive anymore and having suicidal thoughts. But I've realized that being a lone has made me realize so much of what I want in life, I've gained new interests and hobbies all because of being a lone so much. This video was what I needed. :)

I have been single for 9 years now and I can relate to all the positive things you talk about. I think people who are single for a long time just gets a bit self conscious about it sometimes, at least I do - but just It's just like anything else with us humans that make us even slightly different

All things work together for the good of them that love God and are called according to his purpose!!! I so relate to this!!! We are so busy being busy we don't know how to stop and smell the roses. I asked God to help me not to worry so much and to learn how to have fun! I'm so wired to take things seriously and I too want to ...Fall in Love with life, I love it!!!! Singleness is God's seperation for his preparation!!! It is a struggle though because there are times I want a plus one to go places with, but God is so good, I just go to the parties and weddings on my own and I stay open for God to place me in the right place at the right time and in the right season. And when I am lonely I ask God to fill my cup and remind me of his word ...his grace sufficient!!!

I had to screen shot this for a reminder for myself ❤thanks for writing this ❤️ I’ve been single and dating myself for 7 years now and loneliness do settle in from time to time but I find the strength to pick myself up and continue my self discovery journey. I know God has wonderful plan for me going forward he has definitely showed up for me through out my life and I give him all the praise . I know without a doubt I’m a whole wife and God is preparing me for my husband and preparing my husband for me.
I've been subbed to your channel for around the same length of time, mostly single too and I'm older than you, so many great things are happening in my life and people have even given up questioning me on why I'm single :) This is a great video btw and you make some important points about getting to know yourself. Being single for a lot of women is a Choice. If we are single for ten years we ain't going to settle now unless it's what and who we truly love and want 💯 A lot of men can't accept the truth of women CHOOSING to be celibate and single rather than being in a relationship with someone they don't fully love! They think your lying or a lesbian. No I'm just not that into you😡. Some men would prefer to be lied to I guess🤷 if you're not the one you ain't the one it works both ways I didn't cry over relationships that didn't work out because I knew I wasn't the one for them. Plenty of men haven't liked me. I was mature about it and got on with my life. End of. I will only be with somebody I authentically Love and have chemistry and attraction with untill then I'll be single deal with it. People that are filled with hatred and perversion assume everyone else is some people have no discipline or control over their life or their urges and hate people that do. Don't be so desperate in life.

I jus broke up wit a man I’ve been seeing for almost 4 years before dating this man I’ve never been in a relationship and i am almost 30 yrs old and I don’t hav any kids I wasn’t in a good situation wit this guy but I took a chance but it wasn’t working so I had to walk away ASAP he had tons of other females on the side I recently found out about so I left and I am definitely ok being single again since that is always what I have known 🙂anyways!!!!!
