Just 1 or 2 hints, CJ. After baking and cake cools, cut top off cake and then flip cake over..less crumbs sticking to the icing knife. Maybe freeze cake before icing? Try a lightweight heart-shaped, plastic cookie cutter, ramekin looked heavy and pressing into your cake . Thanks, you answered some questions how to bake in my new Ninja Foodie 5 in 1 grille & LOVE how you show love for your children!
Your daughter Avery is awesome! Love that u featured her in this Valentine episode. Could feel the love and family relationship you share with her. More videos with her please! 🌈

Always working for sure! Great time last night, but really wanted to get this video out last night in time for today. Thanks so much for watching and all the kind words! Have a great day! Cheers
Your daughter is fantastic! So nice to see you both working together, great father/daughter bonding time. Wish I had that with my dad. I want to try this, but wondering if I lower the tempt. will that prevent it from rising in the middle. Thanks for the video!
@@CookingWithCJ I found out from looking on someone else youtube, to help get a nice, even top on your cakes, spread the batter as smoothly as you can and, then using both hands, 'spin' the filled pans in the same direction on a flat surface, such as your counter top. This will 'sling' more batter out towards the side of the cake, leaving less batter in the center to form a dome on top. Just be careful not to spin it off on to the floor. ;-) I tried this the other day and it worked like a charm!
Hmmmm, damn peanut gallery galore in this one ! Great looking “homemade “ cake ! I see you were really “working” hard on this one CJ ! Awesome job Avery !
Haha CJ .....Man you had laughing all through the video nice seeing your princess helping you the cake looked amazing. Strangely enough me and my big daughter Kimberly was having a discussion on which is better Betty Crocker or Duncan Hines and she said Betty Crocker all the way . Oh honest opinion I know it would taste delicious but does it taste actually like red velvet cake ? Have a wonderful weekend you and your family.

Great video! Did you let the pan cool in the grill or how did u pull the pan out of it? THanks again!
Hey thanks. No I pulled the pan out. I used my silicone pot holders. There’s a link in my comments and description for them.
Hey guys anyone know what size pan can the ninja foodi frill accommodate? Is 9in ok?
I think the pan I used was 9”.
Thanks!
