Seriously I was thinking what could be the reason and first they thought he might be a Chinese Spy :)) In some indian paper they still mention "The "Chinese Karmapa", that shows their ignorance. In a way they are also a control freak like CCP. Whatsoever, H.H. Karmapa is wise beyond his age and recently he said in an interview that India thougnt him alot. Indeed in such young age leaving all loved one behind him for India and the land of Dharma put him in Housearrest. Tibetan wouldn't dare to speak up the truth because they are so thankfull to India. But fact is fact.
