@@gabrielv.4358 assuming they ever saw his suggestion to begin with, which they probably didn't. As the translator I'm the one who relays the suggestions from the ENG channel comments to them (which is much more difficult and frustrating than you can imagine), and for the life of me I can't remember ever relaying this one. So this "plot" of ours that you described (of posting the vid using his suggestion later to get the advertising money), which I'm still having trouble wrapping my head around, seems to me to be a figment of imaginaton. Honestly, call me stupid, but I don't even see how this works. Someone suggested an idea, we took note of it and put it on the backburner for about four years (and I'm actually pretty sure that the original video on the Russian channel predates any such suggestion in the comments to the ENG channel), to then take advantage of his suggestion for YT ad revenue. Em, what would've been the problem with taking advantage of his suggestion on the spot and not waiting for many years, in terms of "getting the advertising money"? To me this honestly looks like a weird attempt to troll that I might be reading too deep into. If I'm wrong and you're willing to elaborate - I'm honestly curious to listen to you and try to understand your logic.

  • @SaccoBelmonte

I expected the gallium was going to weaken the metal and make the typical dusty mess but instead, it seems like it structurally held on and the gallium lowered the melting point of the piston so on each stroke, the exploding gas kept digging a hole through the piston. The end structure looks like molten metal instead of cracked material.
