The anime got messed up because they want to keep romanticizing the "harem" in this series which actually gave them horrible reviews. to be honest, the harem had pros and cons; if they had completely scrapped it, it will revolve around asuna and kirito a lot more, though that's very wholesome and would show qualities of how a relationship should go, this might make the story "generic" and somewhat "cliche", (speaking from a writer's mind, that is). meanwhile, if they continue along the "harem" route, they would gain the "non-generic" feel of the series although this actually gives a bad view to kirito so they use his obliviousness and asuna's understanding to compensate for the hate which is sad. i also can't believe that people think alice could ever amount to how much asuna's done for kirito. you also cannot use the reason that alice took care of kirito for 2 years in the underworld because asuna was trying her best in the real world, literally finding her own way to rath and board the ocean turtle halfway across the damn world. a-1 really messed up a lot of scenes which gave off a very romantic feel for alice and kirito in the first place. asuna is irreplaceable and that has been set to stone ever since sao was written.
I'd rather they focus on just Kirito and Asuna and actually give Asuna more development. Cuz Alice had much more personality than her, even tho' Asuna had much more time to develop.

It's not until Eugeo shows up in his head and basically says hes allowed to continue on that his fluctlight begins repairing

I love this kirito arc man. I didn’t lose a friend to dying, I lost a friend out of my own and I guess both of our stupidity. We were friends for the first two years of high school. And me and him both loved SAO. And when I finally told him I loved it and he did too, our friendship became a brotherhood. I didn’t have a phone then, he did. I had only asked for his number 2 times in those years and probably meant to ask more but either forgot or whatever. And I lost the papers that he gave me with the numbers. Anyway he had to move because of family things and I thought he said he’d stay in the school district. Apparently not because I’m one year out of high school and he didn’t come back. I had hoped so whole heartedly that he would. And then Covid hit and stuff. And so I was really hoping that he was still alive. Once I got my first job I meet my new best friend. My friend(Gideon) in high school was my first true ever best friend. And now my new friend (Scott) and I are really close. We are like brothers. We go out and I play video games with him. None of which I had ever done with Gideon because no phone and I felt like my mom wouldn’t really approve of him as a friend or whatever, and I didn’t have an Xbox back then either. And kiritos journey of learning to forgive himself and fully being able to accept that Eugeo is gone. Helped me forgive my self not just for being an idiot, but at accepting that he’s gone. Now I still haven’t fully accepted it yet. I still wish he would just walk into work one day. And I still haven’t truly felt the same kinda bond as I did with Scott as I felt with Gideon yet. I don’t know if maybe because I Cherished the little time with Gideon so much and I saw Scott more and we do more things together. But anyway. I love this kirito arc man.
I didn’t lose a friend to dying, I lost a friend out of my own and I guess both of our stupidity. We were friends for the first two years of high school. And me and him both loved SAO. And when I finally told him I loved it and he did too, our friendship became a brotherhood.
I didn’t have a phone then, he did. I had only asked for his number 2 times in those years and probably meant to ask more but either forgot or whatever. And I lost the papers that he gave me with the numbers.
Anyway he had to move because of family things and I thought he said he’d stay in the school district. Apparently not because I’m one year out of high school and he didn’t come back. I had hoped so whole heartedly that he would. And then Covid hit and stuff. And so I was really hoping that he was still alive.
Once I got my first job I meet my new best friend. My friend(Gideon) in high school was my first true ever best friend. And now my new friend (Scott) and I are really close. We are like brothers. We go out and I play video games with him. None of which I had ever done with Gideon because no phone and I felt like my mom wouldn’t really approve of him as a friend or whatever, and I didn’t have an Xbox back then either.
And kiritos journey of learning to forgive himself and fully being able to accept that Eugeo is gone. Helped me forgive my self not just for being an idiot, but at accepting that he’s gone. Now I still haven’t fully accepted it yet. I still wish he would just walk into work one day. And I still haven’t truly felt the same kinda bond as I did with Scott as I felt with Gideon yet. I don’t know if maybe because I Cherished the little time with Gideon so much and I saw Scott more and we do more things together.
But anyway. Watching kirito this way just reminds me of how depressed I was when I lost my friend. My one true bother.
I hope that when Kirito gonna wakes up he'll kiss Asuna *IN FRONT OF ALICE* 😈
I’m so glad that the second part is about to come out- fudge I’m fangirling cuz I’ll soon get to see THE Kasuna ship + the rest of the characters that just entered the UW

• end of 1st arc: kirito waking up, asuna's name and figure on his mind
• end of 2nd arc: recalling that moment after that 🤢 scene w the psyc🤪 of su*ou, the way kirisuna shared that 》peaceful 《 moment both in game & also in hospital
SAO last season 😟
• end of arc 1: kirisuna being broken by each other's pain and impotence feeling
• end of the whole thing: 🔜
my point is 😫 the whole suffering process they passed thru, as same time as they stood growing and facing so many scenarios, ending up by never losing their virtual escape, the mmorpg's world? this really is a strong reason why kirisuna is the ship i most hype, they my gods n im existing as a child of such parents only 😭 and the way they are the beggining and prolly gonna be the end of each other, of this rollercoaster wich is SAO?
