Renford Cogle's wife told me that her husband penned this song. He was a part of the Melodians team and was being deployed when the appointment was set up to sign the contract. The members of the group told him the signing was at 6 p.m. He arrived at 5:45 p.m. and met them leaving. They told him his part was taken care of and not to worry; they would give his wife his share. He returned after deployment and was mad at his wife, thinking she had spent his money. Sad. He and his family never got a penny from this song. I am putting it out there because those who should be given credit are robbed for too long. Every time she hears the song, she is sad. This is not the only song that was robbed
