Hi Everyone, So here's a quick update before I hand this foundation over to my mum to try... If you have a pinky undertone to your skin, then I have been reliably informed that this foundation won't be for you. Too Faced foundations run on the yellow side....which I wasn't aware of as this didn't actually affect me personally. Thank you so much to The Pampered Wolf Pack for letting everyone know. Secondly I don't think this foundation would be suitable for oily skin as when your natural oils come through throughout the day, this can make the foundation caky. I didn't find this happened to me personally as I don't apply a lot of layers of foundation around my oily areas. At the moment I like wearing it as more of a medium coverage foundation. It sits really nicely on my skin, but full coverage is still not my preference....I find it a little scary on me as I'm not used to it, but I don't think it looks like a mask as it's such a good shade match for my skin. I know a lot of people thought this was way too pale for my skin, but to be honest I don';t think I've found a more perfect colour match for me in a long time. I am REALLY fair, but have been used to buying foundations that I like rather than those that match my skin properly. This is probably why a lot of you were shocked. For the best application I applied a hydrating primer on my dry areas and then applied the foundation in thin layers with a sponge, or applied with a brush and then padded over the top with a sponge to make it seamless. This is a beautiful foundation on my skin and even though it has coconut water in it, this hasn't broken me out in spots....which I'm stunned about to be honest. The concealer just takes some getting used to. I think I applied too much during the video which is why it creased. You have to wait until this concealer sets before applying any powder over the top. I've used several powders including the ultra affordable RCMA No Colour Powder and all worked beautifully. Be warned though....apply to much and it really looks very unnatural. I will add a further update to this comment when my mum has decided if she likes it xxx
I didn't mind this Gemma when I recently got my Wolfpack paws on it & the concealer. I remembered this video so I used a sponge applicator & went very light with the concealer so I wouldn't cake. I did get the Cloud (fairest w/rosy undertones) & it is a good match for me as well as the concealer in Marshmallow also a fairest rosy. I definitely think the key is to use this formula sparingly otherwise for me it will look cakey later. I also tried not even a full drop of Smashbox oil to the concealer to help it not cake. xx 🤗✌👏👏❤🙏✊👍
Agree, best to apply with sponge - I need one pump of foundation for my whole face. Unfortunately it is hard to find a match when you cool toned, They all seem a bit too yellow.
Gemma, I am 67 and wear this foundation often. I don't like a full coverage but, I mix a tiny bit of my moisturizer with it and it looks beautiful. It lasts all day for me, too.I am anxious as to how your mother liked it. It looks super good on your skin.
Hi Gemma, thank you so much for all your videos. I have bought sooooOOOOOOOO much make-up during lockdowns but always check for your reviews before buying 😬! You’re always genuine & honest and I am very happy to be part of your pack 😘 x
Yes! What a treat to come in from work and see you reviewing this foundation. I'm forever in search for a great vegan and cruelty free foundation and concealer and have been considering this one.
Nestbuilders Home Cleaning I got this foundation a few weeks ago after thinking about it for months and all I can say is WOW!!! It is absolutely gorgeous! It is very skin like on my normal to dry 54 yr old skin: my daughters noticed right away saying how gorgeous my skin looked I LOVE it!! 🥰
@@tammyroy9042 Thanks for your post. I'm 59 with normal/dry skin and have been looking at this foundation at Sephora for some time. I'm glad that you're loving it. I guess I'll be doing some shopping this weekend.😁
I felt like I was finally hitting my stride when I turned 40. I knew how I wanted to live my life / in what direction to take it. It feels powerful to feel in your prime like that. I hope 50 is even better for me and for you. Your eye makeup is amazing; I hope to see you do a tutorial on that.
Well side note I'm 46 this year I'll be 47 in January and I have never felt better, more youthful and incredibly self confident! Absolutely enjoy your 40s we are always made to feel bad about aging but it's so lovely! I wish more women and the beauty industry would embrace the idea that a lot of women although we want to look good I don't aspire to look 18 lol!
I use Too Faced primed and poreless powder lightly to set this concealer and it keeps it from creasing! I’m 45 with definite lines under the eyes and this is the only combo that works for me!
Hello, I also really like this concealer. To set it, I use the born this way translusent powder. This works really well for me. Other powders crease a lot on me.
OMG! Girl... you look like you're in your 20's! I almost fell outta my chair when you said you were going to be 40 on your next birthday! Happy Birthday btw! I have not tried the foundation, but once I tried this concealer I have given up on all else. Well... actually it took me a couple of times because I was applying too much and once I realized that you only need a tiny amount it worked so much better and now it's my holy grail concealer.
I finally picked this up a few weeks ago after listening to Lauren from Honest Beauty Review rave about it for months and I LOVE it! It is now in my top 3-5 and I will never be without out. I have normal to dry 54 yr old skin and it looks gorgeous on my skin:) I do use a glowy or luminous dewy primer every day no matter the foundation. Now I want to try the concealer - I think? Is it as thick as Tarte? Because my eyes do not like Tarte Shape Tape 😞 Thank you for sharing- love the detail 😊 Happy weekend 💕 Tammy Roy 🇨🇦
The concealer is fabulous!! I’m 61 and I just need a little bit of concealer and omg it’s wonderful, I did t like the tarte shape one, it was too thick and dry !!! U will love it if u havnt already gotten it
How odd that people haven’t found the IT CC tinted moisturizer inadequate for summer. Guess I’m lucky. I wear it alllllll summer even as I play tennis. The 50spf is GREAT
Hi another great review. Toni & Guy in the (beigey gold) can is really good a bit on the expensive side but by far the best I’ve tried, smells natural and no white powder left sometimes in boots they have 3 for 2 😊
Hi Gemma looking forward to this test ! Yes please mums opinion very important ! Shape tape I used once and then it went into the bin hated it ! Sorry that concealer is scaring me ! Being mature ! Have your tried Clarins concealer is very nice 👍 this one is nice on my mature skin ! Nice to see you happy with a foundation ,
Uh oh. My husband just saw this pop up on my phone and said “I guess you’ll be making another order”. He worries when I see your reviews but you haven’t led me astray. Can’t wait to watch! @fanforkintastique
I do not know about the foundation but I was lucky with the concealer for my nose area. Good, light, long lasting. Oh, Gemma, I found out you are a September lady just like me. Virgo from tip to toe, in my case. I miss your Mamma presence on the video. Convey my regards to her.
P.S. I use the Batiste dry shampoo, it comes in different shades but l love the clear on my hair. its perfect for in between washes, Give it a try huni xxx
I use the concealer as foundation. I ordered a more skin tone shade. Spot treat and then a really damp sponge and spread it out! Love it this way! It’s too much under the eye for my preference:)
I have always wondered about this foundation and concealer for more mature skin. Thank you for reviewing it Gemma. Looking forward to finding out Jan’s thoughts on them 💕 xx
June, I am almost 50, and absolutely love this foundation. It does not sink into my fine lines. I wear it lightly, somewhere between light and medium coverage. My skin is normal to dry. Personally, I prefer applying it with a brush, for me it is easier to blend. My favorite foundation used to be the UD Naked Skin, not any more. Oh, I still like it, but like the TF better.
Draco's Mom thank you Draco’s Mom that is good to know. I will be 57 on Friday and have the same skin type as you. I will definitely add this to my wish list ❤️ xx
I can't wait to see what you think about the concealer after you play around with it. I'm really looking for a high-coverage concealer for under my eyes, but (like you) I prefer a more light-medium foundation for the rest of my face. Also, it may not be high end enough for you, but I really love my Pantene dry shampoo. It smells nice and absorbs the extra oil in my hair without making it dry and powdery.
"It didn't look like a victoria sponge or anything". 😂 Brilliant. Light foundation wise, I'm liking the Laura Mercier flawless radiance. Face looked great even late into an evening. Been interested in this one so thanks for testing!
After wearing really sheer BB and CC creams for a while, I thought I wanted something with more coverage. I tried this out exactly once. It was definitely too pale (even though the lady at Sephora swore up and down it was a match) and I ended up looking like a kabuki character or geisha. One pump is all it took to end up looking like a mask. However, like I said, it might've just been the shock coming from sheerland. Needless to say, I returned it. On the topic of dry shampoo, Innersense makes a foam version that's good for your hair and skin.
Christine Kofman I really hated the born this way foundation and I tried like hell to make it work for me. I ended up giving it away. The powder was even worse and it made me look like I was 80 lol.
As soon as you said you needed a dry shampoo recommendation I had to jump onto the comments. I swear by klorane dry shampoo. I’ve used both the nettle one for really oily hair and the oat milk one and I much prefer the oat milk version. I buy mine from the boots website (it’s not available in store unfortunately) - it’s the only dry shampoo I can use. I’ve tried all the dry shampoos in existence and I had to stop using them for long time as I lost a lot of hair because of them. The klorane is really natural and doesn’t itch or leave any white ash marks in the hair, neither does it make the hair feel like it’s full of product. Perfect for those inbetween days and the hair genuinely looks and feels clean. It’s more expensive than the usual dry shampoo but it’s really worth it and is honestly my must have of the hair product world 💛
Sandra Marks that is a good one! I keep a travel sized one in my purse! I also use the baltiste. I’m sure I spelled it wrong but I like the one for dark brown bc it has some color in it and it covers my grey roots. I don’t color my hair and I’m getting my first greys so it’s nice. I don’t like their other dry shampoos bc they leave that white powdery look in my hair
Kenra dry shampoo foam...it is amazing! It does not leave the feeling that you have something on your hair...just feels refreshed and clean. I have trekked so many and this is the winner
I struggled with this foundation on my dry skin the first go around, I had to completely remove it and start over applying it with a sponged sprayed with setting spray and it didn’t look bad. When using a light dusting of powder it completely broke apart and it settled in fine lines as it dried down. Going to try mixing it with a bit of moisturizer or facial oil my next go around to see if it sits better on my very dry 56 year old skin…
I have just started using a dry shampoo from Avon 😮 and am really liking it, not too much fragrance, doesn't dry my hair out, no residue & adds volume too.
I don’t like this foundation as much as Urban Decay Naked Skin - even though it’s “moisturizing”, it feels somewhat dry and highlights texture on me. I want to love it but need to figure out what to pair it with - if it’s dry on your mum, can you experiment with mixing it with different things (lotion, primer, or oil maybe)? It’s the only foundation I’ve seen completely opposite reviews of it’s either really greasy or really dry. As far as the concealer, I’m SO happy you tried it - it’s my benchmark for good coverage but it’s dry if I don’t mix something with it (the Too Faced Radiant is perfect to mix - it’s almost too creamy on it’s own, but helps the newer one from being so dry). I’m glad I’m not the only person who found it dry after it set - I know I can’t be the only one in the world. I imagine your mum would need a dab of oil, like with the Revolution concealer? Do you think the coverage is good enough you could skip the MAC prep & prime color corrector? Thanks!!
Thank you for hearing me shout at the screen. I appreciate your thoughts on this product. I had hoped the concealer would be better, so your update will be appreciated.
Great as always! I'd almost rather see the video at the end of your wear test week so you could give us your tips from the week as you apply (but I love and appreciate any way you do it!)
Great video ! I would love a tinted moisturizer vid for summer as I rarely wear foundation in summer ! Senegence company is the one Ive been using last 2 summers and wear it up to october if im lucky, and am pleased with it, but I'm always looking for something better but cant always afford trying many and samples here arent a big deal at our stores. and smaller sizes. Anyways looking forward to your video on tinted moisturizers. Cheers
Thanks so much for this video! I love the finished look of your eyes. Would you do a video on this eye look...or if you have done this one already, pls let me know the link to it. Again, thanks so much and love your channel!
You must have heard me shouting as well! I’m looking forward to you trying this on your mom. It looks gorgeous on you. Thanks for another great review! ☺️
Living Proof dry shampoo is the only dry shampoo that cleans the hair as well as absorbing oils. I’m ordering that concealer, I’m loving not setting concealer, it looks so much better, try a drop of facial oil with the foundation, it’s stunning x
Gemma, perhaps try putting a thin layer of foundation on, allow it to dry then build it up in thin layers until you are happy with the coverage. I think sometimes, that when you put a lot on at once it tends to accumulate around our mouth and chin and nose on the side you start with. Just an idea
Your skin looks beautiful!! Never heard of this brand! Hope it stays as nice as it is now! Great 👍 tutorial! Love you, and I hope it will look as good on your Mum! Kristie K.
I'm 52 & I used this foundation for a couple if years. It started settling into my pores really bad and looked really mask like on my aging skin. However, TooFaced eyeshadows are absolutely amazing & the HangoverRx primer is great too.
@Claudia Trapp I’m 49 and figured it was going to slide off my face, however, if looks on the heavy side on me too, and dry. I don’t get it - the Urban Decay Naked Skin foundation is great - stays put but not dry - their Naked concealer is dry on me, however. I’m trying to figure out what to mix it with to make it less dry - certain things make it break apart before I even get it on my face.
@Claudia Trapp don’t you feel like UD Naked Skin has been forgotten about a bit? I’ve seen Stephanie Marie list it in her top foundations that are skin-like and long wearing (fairly recently). I used to think it was full coverage but I find it doesn’t cover absolutely everything, yet it’s buildable. It’s SO GOOD. I’m 49 and my daughter is 19 and we both love it - so it’s not just for a certain age. I didn’t know you had to shake it on my first bottle until I was at the bottom - oops! If you have some foundations that you love but are a little thick, try mixing it with UD. I decided to try it with my IT CC cream - I love the IT CC, but sometimes it feels a bit heavy and sometimes doesn’t stay all day - the mixture of those two is phenomenal for me - the UD thins out the IT and makes it last longer when I use a damp sponge (usually with the IT I use a brush, but using a sponge for the mixture pushes it in better). The IT also bumps the coverage of the UD and leaves a bit more glow, not greasy. Since one pump is enough for my face with the IT CC, I need no more than half a pump for either foundation. I bet it would work for other CC/BB creams too. If you try it let me know!!:)
@@wendyraye I think the Naked Skin foundation is overlooked as well. When UD foundation is mentioned most people think of the AllNighter foundation, which I hate. Naked Skin is SO MUCH better! I will definitely give the mixing a try! Thanks for the tip!
I would never have guessed this was a full coverage foundation, really lovely. I'm so interested to know how you get on throughout the week and your tips as to application. Brilliant review vid , thank you 🏵🌹🌸🏵💮🏵🌸🌹🌸🏵 PS: I thought it was your overhead lighting that created the rosy highlights in your hair ... then when you did the outside view of the foundation I saw them again. Absolutely gorgeous tones. Very soft and beautiful, perfect for summer 💜💜💜💜
Thanks Gemma, I love too faced products but Ive not tried this foundation, I could see the difference as soon as you put it on, definitely one I will try as I love full coverage. Lol @ the dior lady x x
Hi Gemma, glad you reviewed this concealer as I was going to get it from asos but I’m not sure now,let us know how ya Mam gets on with it.I use Baptist dry shampoo I get it from Tesco with my shopping delivered but I’m looking for a better one myself, fine hair needs a bit of help but I hate that white cast from dry shampoo.xxx
Hi, i wanted to thank you about an old video off `how to choose your foundation. I did your test, came out cool, but the lady at the store helped me and i got 2R2C from Lóreal true match. It look really the same as my skin. For the first time in my life i have a foundation that really fits me, even my partner didnt see it and heis always complaining if i wear foundation lol, i am almost 56 and now i wear foundation daily...which i never did!! Oh by the way you look stunning!!!!
Klorane is an expensive dry shampoo, but very effective. Not Your Mother's, Living Proof, and Redken are also good brands for dry shampoo. Note that I am in the US, and I don't know if these are available in the UK, or what the price would be.
Hey there! I’ve recently found your channel, and I’m so excited to finally find someone talking about makeup for more mature skin! So for that, thank you!!! I was wondering, can you go over your skin routine that you apply before your makeup? Thanks in advance! Now, excuse me while I go binge watch your past videos!
I have sample size born this way concealer and I loved it so much I was like hmmm..multi use let's see all over the face lol...i did I used it as a foundation all over...i loved it!!! My skin type is just like yours and I turned 35 in March I'm so jelly your skin looks so much better than mine
Thank you so much for the review of this product. I've been wondering about it and debating on whether to by it. I think I might give it a try. Great review! 😊
I was waiting for you reviewing this foundation because really wanted to get it xx thanks I don't have a good dry shampoo recommendation but I started adding sea salt to my shampoo and from washing my hair almost every day I'm washing them once maybe twice a week xxxx
So glad it's arrived safely Lauri. I haven't made my mind up about the concealer yet. It's not creased today as I've been practicing application, but it's VERY full coverage which might not look great with my other foundations that are less coverage. I'll update you at the end of the week xxx
Off today’s topic, have u ever tinted your own eyebrow? Professionally done become pricey and burdensome as it is needed every two weeks. I’ve been using the coloring available for MENS mustaches and beards.
i love that you mentioned Wayne Goss. he gives great tips and suggestions, just like you do. my problem is I can't justify having every foundation that is suggested, as much as I would love to. Currently wanting the Dior backstage, but want this as well. I have the CYO on your suggestion, which has been super!
I am waiting for the No. 7 hyrdaluminous to come to USA. My Holy grail is the Loreal 24 hr freshwear. I have one foundation that is spendy and that is the Yensa BC foundation, but that doesn't mesh well with some of my primers, though I have the Yensa primer, so I don't wear it all the time. I really need to stop! How many foundations is too many, when you aren't an influencer?
You will love your 40's..especially because you look sooooo much younger. You beat me to it and I lol'd when you told us you'd try it on your Mum. I'm curious to see how you get on with it after the week trial. You look MAH-velous!!❤
Hi Gemma, nice video 👍🙂 I don't like the foundation so much on you as it looks pretty dry and so matte, no glow at all 🤷🏼♀️ Interesting you liked it a lot 🙂😘
There was a lot more glow as the day went on, but I also mattified it with powder which I haven't done today. I've got to say the coverage takes some getting used to.....and I still prefer more of a medium coverage to full. Full coverage just looks more unnatural. Still haven't totally made my mind up xxx
How do you think this will be good on very dry skin? Btw I ❤️❤️❤️your Chanel I just turned 40 a few weeks ago and I’ve been buying foundation after foundation and I can’t seem to find one that gives med to full coverage and doesn’t make my skin look dry and older than I am. This looked amazing on you! But I can’t keep dropping money on things I use once and then don’t like it. Please help 🥰
I am your age and I love Bareminerals new complexion rescue stick foundation because it is so hydrating and dewy. It doesn't look dry at all on my dry/combo skin. I am not a fan of the Born this way foundaton for the very fact that it does look dry on my skin.
I’m also same age with dry skin and I’m really liking this foundation. Feels really nice on the skin and I didn’t find it clung to any dry patches. Also lasts really well
I tried testers of this foundation back when it was first released and found it to be very matte on my skin. I have normal/dry skin so it was a no-go for me. The coverage although very even, was too heavy for me as well. For dry shampoo have you ever tried Batiste? It's quite popular here in the US. :)
The concealer looks horrible under my eyes. I have attempted to use it on my cheeks when I just need some coverage in an effort to find some use for it. I should have returned it! I much prefer the shape tape. It’s so interesting how it works so differently for people.
Nikoletta Csitari I might try what she said as a last resort. Let it set on its own and then powder but I don’t have high hopes. I have not been able to get it to work for me at all.
I will try as well but I just think my skin does not agree with born this way it seems to separate and cake on me after a few hours the foundation and the concealer as well. Its a shame cos its really nice when applied and only need small amount.
Nikoletta Csitari Agreed. The coverage is good but just initially and then it looks bad. I definitely won’t be trying the foundation even after a good review.
Keep us posted if it works for your mom since I am in the same age group. I have some broken capillaries that always peek through and love a foundation that covers them.
Hi. A lot of youtubers in Brazil love that concealer! They say it does not crease.... have you seed Nikkia Joy from Austrália? See is amazing and show loves that concealer, not the foundation.... I am saying that because I was thinking about buying, bit it cannot crease...
Was looking forward to seeing this as my under eyes are very dark but not if it creases, oooo no! Also, do you wear coloured contact lenses as your eye colour changes in different videos?
Hi Gemma, Binge watching today. I don't really like full coverage foundation's, but I am sure they have their place, maybe in the evening. What do you think?😘😘
I think it's personal preference but I agree with you Angela. I prefer a full coverage in the evening when I'm going out and want to look flawless. In the daytime I like a more natural coverage xxx
Tagging on to the comment you made about dry shampoo... I believe it was in a favorites video, you mentioned a spray for your hair that helped when it had taken on food smells. What was that spray? And I, too, am interested in knowing a good dry shampoo!

I know I’m very late but thought I’d pop on and suggest the dry bar dry shampoo-by far the best I’ve used!
It’s more expensive than the usual dry shampoo but it’s really worth it and is honestly my must have of the hair product world 💛
Moroccan oil dry shampoo has been my fav for years.
Great video!!
I’m watching on Friday morning☕️ so happy weekend to you Gemma🌺💋
Thanks!!
Because I'm so pale sometimes if I skip colour correction then my under eye looks a little grey. XXX
Thank you for hearing me shout at the screen. I appreciate your thoughts on this product. I had hoped the concealer would be better, so your update will be appreciated.
Use your smaller concealer brush for under your eyes then blend it out with a bigger dense brush, a sponge after tends to take away coverage!
Cheers
Consider the Bobbi Brown TM. They have some good ones.
I’m 42 and love both these products!! Use them daily
Thanks so much for this video! I love the finished look of your eyes. Would you do a video on this eye look...or if you have done this one already, pls let me know the link to it. Again, thanks so much and love your channel!
Love your look in this video. So beautiful. Love your eye makeup!
I would love to watch videos about summer coverage as in tinted moisturizer and sheer foundations. Thanks :)
You must have heard me shouting as well! I’m looking forward to you trying this on your mom. It looks gorgeous on you. Thanks for another great review! ☺️
I just wanted to add that my daughter recommends the Klorane dry shampoo. I checked Amazon.co.uk and it is available in the UK.
Living Proof dry shampoo is the only dry shampoo that cleans the hair as well as absorbing oils. I’m ordering that concealer, I’m loving not setting concealer, it looks so much better, try a drop of facial oil with the foundation, it’s stunning x
You look so beautiful today, your skin, makeup, hair, eyes! I think i'm gonna go buy some of that foundation for sure :) xx
@@wendyraye I love UD Naked Skin too! It has such a beautiful finish.
Very pretty foundation on you. I can't wait to hear what she thinks after trying it. Since she & I are close in age.
I would never have guessed this was a full coverage foundation, really lovely.
I'm so interested to know how you get on throughout the week and your tips as to application.
Brilliant review vid , thank you 🏵🌹🌸🏵💮🏵🌸🌹🌸🏵
PS: I thought it was your overhead lighting that created the rosy highlights in your hair ... then when you did the outside view of the foundation I saw them again.
Ohhhb, just read about the yellow undertones. A little disappointed loved it on your skin. Really nice. 💜
Loved this thanks 😊
An expensive video idea (sorry) but I'm a huge mac fan and would love to see an informative video on each of their foundations xx
I LOVE MAC xxx
I have been desperately seeking a fuller coverage foundation. Will be going to Ulta to try it out 😉🤞🙏🏻. Thanks for the review!!! 👏👏👏👌
Klorane is an expensive dry shampoo, but very effective. Not Your Mother's, Living Proof, and Redken are also good brands for dry shampoo. Note that I am in the US, and I don't know if these are available in the UK, or what the price would be.
Casey so is Milkshake as a Dry shampoo...nice product...
I really like your close in camera work! We really are seeing your face as if we are right next to you.
Thank you for trying on Jan...we are close in age and it really helps me !🇨🇦
You are awesome! Love all your videos. I am 54 with dry skin so VERY interested to see how it works on your Mom!
xo
e c Hi, I’m 56 with dry skin and these are 2 of my favourites, I actually have back ups of both which I picked up as I had 15% off x
Hi Chalanda, I've done that already....the video will be in my skincare playlist. Welcome to The Pampered Wolf Pack Chalanda xxx
I have sample size born this way concealer and I loved it so much I was like hmmm..multi use let's see all over the face lol...i did I used it as a foundation all over...i loved it!!! My skin type is just like yours and I turned 35 in March I'm so jelly your skin looks so much better than mine
Your makeup looks very pretty today
I'm the same! I turn 40 next April and I'm really looking forward to it!
Thank you so much for the review of this product. I've been wondering about it and debating on whether to by it. I think I might give it a try. Great review! 😊
Hi, do you use primers, did you use one before applying this foundation? Thanks for a great video xx
Great dry shampoo I just found is OGX foam, it’s amazing and no white residue.
I was waiting for you reviewing this foundation because really wanted to get it xx thanks
I don't have a good dry shampoo recommendation but I started adding sea salt to my shampoo and from washing my hair almost every day I'm washing them once maybe twice a week xxxx
Hi Gemma, I love Philosopy dry shampoo in the Fresh Cream scent, you should give it a try.
You look fabulous for almost 40. And my birthday is in September too! The 25th to be exact.
Gemma, do you think this concealer is better than the Charlotte Tillbury concealer?
My Pampered Wolf mug has arrived!!
So glad it's arrived safely Lauri. I haven't made my mind up about the concealer yet. It's not creased today as I've been practicing application, but it's VERY full coverage which might not look great with my other foundations that are less coverage. I'll update you at the end of the week xxx
Both TF BTW concealer and foundation are my HG. Definitely in my top three!
Bautiste is a good dry shampoo, not the best. But good for drug store prices. Living proof dry shampoo is a holy grail high end one for me.
Off today’s topic, have u ever tinted your own eyebrow? Professionally done become pricey and burdensome as it is needed every two weeks. I’ve been using the coloring available for MENS mustaches and beards.
I use Just For Men to tint my brows - so inexpensive, but works so well!
I've used the revolution tint that lasts 3-4 days, but never properly dyed my eyebrows. xxx
i love that you mentioned Wayne Goss. he gives great tips and suggestions, just like you do. my problem is I can't justify having every foundation that is suggested, as much as I would love to.
Gemma, this looked great on you, I have super dry skin I wonder how it will do? thank you for the fantastic review.
I personally don't think it would be great on a very dry skin. xxx
You will love your 40's..especially because you look sooooo much younger. You beat me to it and I lol'd when you told us you'd try it on your Mum. I'm curious to see how you get on with it after the week trial. You look MAH-velous!!❤
I’m 53 with pretty good skin, and this foundation is just perfect me 😊
I like applying my foundation with a brush and then going over it with a sponge cause it looks more natural
try to go over the brush side to finish with the sponge, it might give it the sponge finish with the brush coverage...
Hi can you recommend a concealer that is crulty free and good for over 50yrs love the video
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away is lovely but you only need a little or it creases xxx
Maybe it is just the lighting but your eyes look like a different color today. Beautiful as always but a different color. Cheers!
Hi Gemma, nice video 👍🙂
I don't like the foundation so much on you as it looks pretty dry and so matte, no glow at all 🤷🏼♀️
Interesting you liked it a lot 🙂😘
There was a lot more glow as the day went on, but I also mattified it with powder which I haven't done today. I've got to say the coverage takes some getting used to.....and I still prefer more of a medium coverage to full. Full coverage just looks more unnatural. Still haven't totally made my mind up xxx
Another great review!
Great video thank you! this is one of my favourite foundation's. Waiting for your update please 💕
Also lasts really well
Have you tried Estee Lauder Double Wear Light? It gives a medium coverage and is so beautiful on the skin. xxx
Just turned 37 on Monday and I’m looking forward to turning 40!! Happy early birthday 🎂
I tried testers of this foundation back when it was first released and found it to be very matte on my skin. I have normal/dry skin so it was a no-go for me. The coverage although very even, was too heavy for me as well. For dry shampoo have you ever tried Batiste? It's quite popular here in the US. :)
From one Virgo to another, I love your tutorials and review. Please try it on your mom.
The concealer looks horrible under my eyes. I have attempted to use it on my cheeks when I just need some coverage in an effort to find some use for it. I should have returned it! I much prefer the shape tape. It’s so interesting how it works so differently for people.
I find no matter what I do this concealer cakes up on me and dont last I should have received it as well.
Yes I do Carrie. I like to have different eye colours depending on my mood xxx
Relatively new follower here but oh my lord you do not look almost 40!! 😳😍
Thanks Jaime xxx
Your makeup is GORGEOUS today! What other products did you use?
Ignore the question - just saw it in the information box 🤦🏻♀️
Hi Julee,
th-cam.com/video/-WP5Bi1H8a8/w-d-xo.html xxx
JuLee McCraney Try the brand Milkshake....really nice Dry Shampoo....i have fine curly coloured hair and it is really nice!
Thanks for the review Gemma. oxoxoxox
Klorane Dry Shampoo!
I will be 50 in October. Please let me know if this product will be ok to use xx
September birthday girl here too! 🥳
