I'm really not watching these in the right order. But it doesn't change how impressed I am with your work. 👍

I have one of Niges very nice diff protectors to put on the front axle when I get round to it or rather when a welder mat has time 😂 it's a beautiful piece of kit and surprisingly doesn't weigh much.

Hi Graham...Nigels diff pans are really nice..i think they are made of AR900 steel so extremely light..regards Paul

A great vid as normal, how long did take to note that had put hubs on wrong side?

Hi Phil...glad you enjoyed the video..it was a conscious decision to swap them round as i wanted to see if it makes any difference to the braking having the cut outs in the the discs running clockwise instead of counter clockwise...from everything i know about braking it should make no difference at all but if you look at the brakes on the Defender i have done the same to that..one set runs one way and one sets the other as its just an experiment that i am doing...regards Paul

Love watching the videos. Do you only work on you're own vehicles? Or do you do other people as well

I have no mechanical mid however I need to rebuild a Sailsbury rear Axle for my 110 as buying a new one reconned is quite expensive :(

Salisbury axles are straight forward enough to rebuild except for the differential which can be a bit tricky to get out but its definately cheaper to do it yourself as buying a recon one is like you say quite expensive..but has it is already in need of rebuild you cannot make it any worse so its worth having a go..

Thanks for the video. Does such kit fit into a short nose rear Defender Puma 110 axle casing?

I've heard a few people say the the full weld on diff pan cause problems with oil flow within the diff have you had any issues with diffs wearing out ? I've welded a few on over the years for people who do some hard off roading so they blow their diffs up anyway. for me i think they are worth while for when your diff goes nuclear the it won't smash through the diff pan

Hi Mark...personally i have no issues with premiture wear of the diff with the heavy duty weld on diff pan but i think the benefits of the pan outway any negatives of it plus like you say if the diff explodes its not gonna punch a hole through the pan.regards Paul
