May I ask how big your home is? I'd really like to have a Golden or Lab too but unfortunately I live in a really small place (1 bedroom) and I'm afraid it might be too small for a dog like Bailey! (Of course I'd take him for a walk at least twice a day.) What do you guys think? Thank you in advance! (Ps: Bailey is amazing, send him huge hugs! :) )

@@estelles8709 Hey dear friend, with a dog like Bailey, that is, with a golden retriever, you can even fit in an apartment of 10 square meters. We live in a small 2 room apartment with an area of 50 square meters and this is completely enough for us. In Spain, as in other European countries, there are some problems with space, but we do not complain, with Bailey we have enough space and even remain for other animals =) If you buy a golden retriever you will not regret it, even 1 small room will be enough for you, because such dogs always adapt to you. If you are comfortable, then the dog too! 😊

Same with cats. Smh😭 my roommates dog was like my dog to. My favorite dog ever, he was a golden lab and had so much personality like Bailey. One day a mac truck came around the corner near our crib on a dirt road and hit him. Poor boy died pretty much instantly. I bawled for a week and havnt had a dog since.
Your so right. But you take some comfort knowing you gave a happy life to one of the lucky ones.

A month ago we had to put down our labrador of 12years. When the vet called to give me the bad news, I couldnt reply but just broke down and sobbed. Never in my wildest dreams did I believe I'd be so attached to a dog..

I know it's just a silly little dog video but it's actually pretty neat when you think about how the dog responded to their change in mood and body posture. The dog was totally fine laying in the chair and they were looking at him but when they went silent and had their heads down he came over right away and initiated contact with them. Dogs are really incredible, especially Bailey! ❤
This is incredible, our family had a GR puppy when I was born and we grew up together, we had to take Dougal to the vet when we were both 13, sadly he did not return home again. It was devastating for me, I am 55 now and think of him very often. He would do exactly the same thing to me when I would sit on our doorstep feeling sad or when I was quite young, crying about some such. This really brought those times back. Beautiful dog. You must be very proud and feel blessed.
I'm sure Bailey looks into the camera and thinks ' oh no, not this again ' .
He is such a smart boy and has such a big compassionate heart. He cares a whole bunch for his parents . Better than some humans out there.
That' s exactly how my parrot Ernie reacted when I was sad.
We owned us for 29 years and grew old together - the biggest, deepest, purest and reciproke love ever.
We weren't soul siblings, we shared one soul.
He died on February 3rd, 2012, 1 p.m. hugged in my hand.

Great memories. I grew up with a Labrador and did everything you see in this vid.
Just unconditional love... and it was like he could sense every emotion.
Our connection with Dogs is evolutionary. They are VERY close cousins on the mammalian family tree and we share over 90% of our DNA with them.
It's no wonder we have such an amazing connection with them.

This beautiful doggie demonstrates the extraordinary empathy that a dog can show for its human parents. Her behavior with her mom and dad is fabulous. And we cannot forgive the mistreatment and torture so often inflicted by humans (???) on their cat or their dog who gave them all their confidence and all their love without a spirit of return.

I sadly had to have my dog put to sleep today. Last night I was crying in bed and Tara came over and cuddled up to comfort me when she was the one who's suffering. Dog really are amazing and caring creatures. Enjoy your time with your dog and make magical memories together.
