@@theoffroadtradies1002 pinnacles victoria. The mountain top. I used to be a fire spotter, a co worker manned the tower there. Vehicle accessible aside form last 200m
I wouldn't use Doritos, they have cheese flavouring but you're putting cheese on them. Some real tortilla chips would have been much nicer. Also adding some freeze dried ground beef might be a big improvement. I might try this next time.
I wished I thought of that in January this yr. I drove Cairns to Adelaide with my 19yr old son who I couldn’t get food in him fast enough. What a fantastic quick easy tasty meal. Well done guys it looked bloody beautiful
We do quite a few different meals in the oven, it takes longer than a normal oven but the pros out way the cons. It's not for everyone but we love it. I cooked a potato bake in there last week, it took 2 hours but I was driving so it didn't really matter, you just need to allow for the extra time to cook.
@@theoffroadtradies1002 thanks for the response. But if it's a really expensive, I'm thinking it might be better to put that money towards better batteries and I guess a bigger inverter. But thanks.
I think I need to make a recipe book for these recipies
I have quite a few ideas still in my head that I need to get out.
Should try the pinnacles sometime...
As in Western Australia? I have done them a couple of times previously, great spot.

Fair call, we have done them since with tortilla chips and some beans also which was quite good.
Quick and easy awesome
For sure, this is a go to meal on our tours if we are having a long day or dinner is going to be a bit late.

This is one of our favorite's on tours, if we are running late or need a quick bite they take no time to prep and ready when we arrive at camp.
What tray are you using?
They come from Somerville Metalworks originally, I get my locally in Mildura. The model is SMW001, for the shallow tray, they also do a deep tray.
What temperature did you set it at?
Normally run it at 180 then flat out if it’s not quick ready
@@theoffroadtradies1002 cheers, thanks for all the recipes, we just got our 12v oven so learning experience 🤞
@@kristineharrower7813 you always add things, I did bacon and egg wraps yesterday and chicken parmigiana today
I need to get a 12v oven
Mate I swear by mine, working on another video shortly rolled chicken roast
So it took 30mins to melt some cheese? I don't know.
