Mafia 1 DE has a boring open world, Mafia 2 got a shit port, Mafia 3 didn't change nothing (at least they should have added the vietnam mission)
It's a mixed bag in my opinion. I like that we got updated controls, better resolution, and new lighting, but the most of the visual improvements were not the best, the rain is intolerable, and the character models look more plastic than Henry's hair in the Mafia II remaster. In conclusion, I would rather download a visual overhaul mod to the original game than play this.

They just added all the DLCs in one package and they just messed up the lighting that's all. Is very disappointing but that's how it is when you don't have enough time on making those when the main focus was the remake of the first game.
But basically Mafia 3 never been a remastered for real, just the full game with all the updates, Dlc and bug fixed because the game was still recent. Mafia 2 was a (shitty) remastered, but the very main focus was the first one.

Me lucky ,but the point is that was just a full game with all the updates and dlc ,not a real remastered even because Mafia III was too young yet, and its been the only game where i had all the bonus outfits of Trilogy at least.

I will never forget 1st time playing Mafia I was a kid 8-9 yo, but even today i rember how ahead of its time that game was, and than it came mafia 2 and 3 literally decade after all games at that time... Shame, but maybe one day we see mafia 4 as epic as mafia 1 was in 98.
mafia 2 is really good game :) and its lack of boring driving .. it has excellent driving! i finished mafia 1 a week ago.. OMG okay.. it was hard.. problem was that every 3 meter there was a fckin cop. I know... its important part in Mafia games.. but when u spend 3 hours on a mission and 2,6 hour just with escaping from cops? :DDD bro.. i was so happy when finally finished mafia 1.. in the last 4-5 hours i felt like a cursed person who needs a Priest! and then in last mission game stole all my weapons..(just for the troll fun xd) had 5 bullets vs an army :) (at least i felt like a legend.. i solved it. )
25 hours... needed fckin 25 hours to finish Mafia 1.. 7 hours only with "playing" with cops :D 8 hours with every second mission needed like 9 try. yeah i would say it wasnt dat enjoyable but Mafia 1 OG is pretty sure the hardest mafia.. by far!
Worst treatment they have done, I rather they focused more on 2 and 3 than in the first one tbh. 2 got to many things cut, 3 was never finished. I wish in this M3DE version we would see vietnam and improvement graphics and updates that fix the trophy glitches. But no, they just add more brightness and called it new.

honestly, when people talk bad about this game all I can think about is "comic book guy" from the Simpsons saying "Worst...Game...EVER!" game is great for its' time, love the whole New Orleans vibe, Radio's great, the missions are fun, free roam feels immersive, this game cured my RDR addiction. can't wait for the next installment, I hope we get more of the south and more Lincoln Clay.

the def version has a weird ghostly silhouette around everything, as the orignal does not, the mission where you fight in the ring? the def version wont let the dude im with in, so i have to reload the mission to that point, the doors close before he can come in xD, the original is fine. in conclusion: dont change whats not broke ;v

There is trophies were you can't do by closing your application. So you have to do in one setting and that fuck annoys me in PS4.

The lighting in this game is way too bright. There’s times where it glitches out and is literally gray. One of my favorite games though.
