Thank you so much for this. I’m a big ultraman fan, and even I have to say learning about this.. thing was a delight. Also, what did you think of the original theme song in the Japanese version “Bokura No Ultraman”?
Could have been worse. Ultraseven might have sic his Capsule Monsters (Windom, Miclas, and Agira) at Gomora to beat him up and eat him graphically like three zombies eating a person (because after all, this Thai production already had Gomora possess fire breathing and deadly evil rainbows).
I want to say I was excited to see Brandon making a review of a Ultraman project on 2019! Around 2015 or 2016, I posted a comment on one of his old videos asking if he can review Space Warriors 2000. This Is the closest we can get. I hope we get closer to when he'll review Space Warriors 2000. Thank You Brandon! My little kid-self was waiting for this moment. I'm now 20.

Wow, people complain about Redman's level of violence with killing usually evil monsters when Hanuman over here be taking simple bank robbers and crushing them in his fists whilst laughing sadistically.
Great, now I want to see a Hanuman expy as a villain in Ultraman (possibly as a creation of Yapool that was rejected as a failed experiment or a demon summoned by an alien)
Fun fact for skaters: One of the cops from the Ultra Man TV show (North America) was also Johnny Rad in Bone Brigade videos. And he was also the “I love you, Dad” guy from the Bud Light commercials.
Something you might have neglected to mention in your video, but earlier last year, a California federal court ruled against Sampote Sands and Chaiyo. It was this lawsuit that was the reason why the majority of the Ultraman shows (at least those from the Showa era) haven't been seen in North America. And while there have been attempts to bring those shows over in recent years, like Shout Factory bringing over both Ultra Seven and Ultra Q, they had to go through Chaiyo to do it. But now, the way is finally clear to bring over all the Ultra shows. Mill Creek Entertainment now has the U.S. distribution rights, and this October will finally see Blu-Ray releases of both Ultraman and Ultra Q, with the other shows sure to follow.

Fun fact Hanuman is the original version of every great super hero... He can fly with great speed and is invincible to any weapon like superman He can shrink and expand his body size like antman ( there is a story that by shrinking himself he even travelled to multiverse to find a lost ring of lord Rama and ended up finding piles of rings similar to the original ones lost from infinte no of universes... Infact lord Rama on purpose dropped his ring to the quantum level so as to teach hanuman a lesson of multiverses) Hanuman once carried a whole big mountain full of herbs from himalayas to shri lanka in his gigantic form and that with flying There are many heroic feats mentioned in Ramayana like this
Everything I've been able to find implies that Project Ultraman never made it beyond a stage show and a few trailers - though there were apparently bigger plans (allegedly a 52 episode series with a reasonably high budget). The trailers and bits of footage are scattered around the web, and don't really look too terrible, plus the series was going to use a name actor Ekin Cheung who has done some pretty good work in the past. It's likely none of the finished product will ever see the light of day now, but it didn't look any worse than Ultraman Powered or Ultraman Towards the Future (the American and Australian Ultra series), though it could have been. Like all series/franchises Ultraman has had its highs and lows - these days it seems to be really good. As far as canonical elements, the current attitude of the franchise seems to support multiple dimensions, so any potential contradictions are simply another universe - but may have actually happened (or not). Thanks for covering the film though, your videos are entertaining.
Good lord, those two jerks make me miss the Kenny from Gunhed saying "droplet droplet" for half an hour. Also...is it just me or does this have a "Godzilla vs Megalon" vibe?
I'm disappointed that Brandon never noted that Hanuman's flying pose is supposed to be the Windmill of Friendship, which is a good luck symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism, but is more infamous for being the symbol of a moustached madman's regime.

Hey Brandon, i know That you usually do patreon pulls for this sort of thing, but with you finally tapping into ultraman, could i recommend "Ultraman the next" as a possible future review idea, i actually think you'd enjoy it, the best way i Can describe it is That it's Like the Ultraman version of Gamera the brave, anyway awesome video man 👍
How about a review of Ultraman Zearth?
@@nicholaslienandjaja1815 that would also be valid, as would ultra galaxy legends
Do Hanuman and the 5 riders review! Because I'm a fan of Kamen Rider.
That film there is ripe for riffing.
who's your favorite rider?

Back in the early 80s a new channel came on uhf in Philadelphia, no cable, and they got cheap things to put on their station and this was one of them, I was 12yrs old so I thought it was great because I grew up with the 1st ultraman. Thanks for this video
Space Warriors 2000?
Thank you so much for this. I’m a big ultraman fan, and even I have to say learning about this.. thing was a delight. Also, what did you think of the original theme song in the Japanese version “Bokura No Ultraman”?
Ok then, you can easily find it if you search the name, the one thing in my opinion was good from this film.
The subtitles were the damn funniest thing about this review. Because good lord, what was even this movie? Also, loved the reference to The Warriors.
Brandon’s subtitles make it feel like an abridged version.
Dude, its great to see more stuff from you and the history behind this movie is just amazing.
You skipped the part where Hanuman and the six Ultramen brutally lynched Gomora (the monter with the Rainbow ray) before slicing him in half
I'm now 20.
yes , Thailand also Have knock off of Godzilla. It call "ยักษ์วัดโพธิ์ ปะทะ ยักษ์วัดแจ้ง". by the same maker
What do those squiggles say?
Translation, please.
Would like to see Brandon review Pulgasari.
I'm Thai and, even with the full understanding of the language, I still find this very absurd lol
Any translations to what everyone’s saying?
Hey cool videos, and that outro music is funky as all get out. Good stuff dude.
What's with movies named X vs. Y being about the titular characters working together more than fighting each other?
I would say the word "versus" kinda implies a fight/confrontation/conflict of some kind. Now, if you use X AND Y, that would indicate some kind of cooperation? ;)
Wait there's a movie called Jesus Vampire Hunter? Does he use a ram's horn instead of an enchanted axe.
There's a lot more exploitation movies regarding Jesus... I suggest a look at Diamanda Hagan or The cinema snob channels... But... Keep an open mind...
Not sure, I just k ow the one, and Hagan is a different reviewer but the films she reviews can be... Kinky... To say the least
Never saw any movies, but I guarantee there are even Jesus porn.

Samson: Vampire Hunter stabs Dracula through the heart with the jawbone of an ass. Anyone who gives that movie a bad review is a philistine..
I was thinking earlier "Been two weeks since the Stuff. This dude better be uploading a video real damn soon..."
😎👍
Wow, people complain about Redman's level of violence with killing usually evil monsters when Hanuman over here be taking simple bank robbers and crushing them in his fists whilst laughing sadistically.
@Frizzurd Who needs the Ultraman Brand, when your Superhero is a Zombie Kid who henshin'd himself into a Giant Killer.
Great, now I want to see a Hanuman expy as a villain in Ultraman (possibly as a creation of Yapool that was rejected as a failed experiment or a demon summoned by an alien)
@@nicholaslienandjaja1815 Lord Hanuman is actually a Hindu God particularly of Strength and Celibacy
Hence he can't be a villain he is force for good
I've always wanted to see you tackle this and I am SO GLAD you did finally. Cheers!

Never thought you would do a video on ultraman. I love ultraman so I approve
Why does the theme song singer sound like Bugs Bunny? 😂
Bugs bunny doing a racist impression of Thai language.
@@MinscFromBaldursGate92 Tokio Jokio 2.0 (change the setting to Thailand)
How is this guy not bigger? His reviews/riffs are great/hilarious!
I watch your channel every day please don’t stop 💯
Thailand was where i first saw Ultraman...in this case Ultraman 80.Great fun.If you are ever in Bangkok,go to the Grand Temple as they have 30foot high guardians the titular character is inspired by.
Have you seen the new Netflix Ultraman series? If so, what did you think? I liked the dark take on the character.
Catch the appearance of Bruton the psychedelic meteorite in one episode?
There's going to be a Season 2 soon!
Brandon, this is probably one of my favorite videos that you've done. Hilarious, my friend!!!
Over the 100k sub mark.
... you owe us a special ;-)
He has been doing the show for years and years and only has just over 100k subs. That says a lot.
Brandon is one of the greatest, funnest, funniest, entertaining entertainers I've ever seen/heard in my life. Us musicians know how to get it done & rock. I love these fans. BT fans kick ass.
Project Ultraman has no known footage except for magazine images, stage shows and that trailer. It's truly a mystery.
15:23 Nice 'Annihilation' reference, Brandon. I'd insert an "A Fellow Man of Culture" Winnie the Pooh image into the comment if TH-cam would let me.
Ultra Seven was the first Ultraman series I ever saw. It was on early morning before school on TNT.
I fecking love when you add your own subs to movies xD
As a person who is from Thailand, I find your depiction of my culture very....... delightful
And incredibly enough in one episode of the original series Ultraman does face a monster that is a slightly modified Godzilla suit.
Awesome review as always. Was hoping this would make the show since I'm a big tokusatsu/kaiju fan
I can never stop laughing at that scream (6:20)!!!
congratulations for 100 thousand subscribers

Submission for ABCs of Death 3, perhaps?
And D is also for death, doom, and destruction. And E is for extermination and extinction, and G is for genocide.
The best title for this movie. The 7 Ultraman and the crack head vs the citizens of Kenny town.
And then the kid did a spinnaroonie on top of the temple. Also, Tsuburaya now owns all rights to Ultraman, like they always had, outside of Japan.
Can’t wait for your ‘Space Warriors 2000’ review. Been looking forward for the review since 2015!
Fun fact Hanuman is the original version of every great super hero...
He can fly with great speed and is invincible to any weapon like superman
He can shrink and expand his body size like antman ( there is a story that by shrinking himself he even travelled to multiverse to find a lost ring of lord Rama and ended up finding piles of rings similar to the original ones lost from infinte no of universes... Infact lord Rama on purpose dropped his ring to the quantum level so as to teach hanuman a lesson of multiverses)
Hanuman once carried a whole big mountain full of herbs from himalayas to shri lanka in his gigantic form and that with flying
There are many heroic feats mentioned in Ramayana like this
Everything I've been able to find implies that Project Ultraman never made it beyond a stage show and a few trailers - though there were apparently bigger plans (allegedly a 52 episode series with a reasonably high budget).
Hanuman looks like the Baridaghi Statue from the beginning of 'Varan The Unbelievable.'
TBH, Hanuman's Theme song is putting me to sleep.
9:16 this part is cursed out of context
Brandon I have grown unreasonably fond of the ending bass riff, I might actually look up ur band
I'm disappointed that Brandon never noted that Hanuman's flying pose is supposed to be the Windmill of Friendship, which is a good luck symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism, but is more infamous for being the symbol of a moustached madman's regime.
Stalin? I’m joking I know it’s Hitler.
@@ryanangelastro504but sickle and hammer would be good weapons for hanuman i guess
