Yes! Thats why season 4 is my favorite. Up u tip then she was so put together and perfect. Strong and unmoved aside from a random hot mess moment here and there when shit got crazy in the earlier seasons. But this. This was so powerful and broke me so bad. Season 4 was showing her she needed to grow and change. It was amazing to see her struggling to hold it together. Lauren is amazing.

I have had a few women react this way when I left them. Clearly DIFFERENT circumstances, but yeah... I did the right thing but feel bad. Slightly. We all make our own beds. And I think that they both didn't really hear one another out and kept getting offended too much. The beginning of season 5 where he lost his mojo was bad. I was REALLY cheering for them the entire time, as I am a big romantic who values GOOD RELATIONSHIPS a lot. the communication aspect of their relationship was not great. It had me nervous for a lot of the show. I was yelling at my phone, "DON'T DO THAT YOU IDIOT!" Throughout lots of the show. I'm glad it worked out and I knew it would, but I palm-faced at them throughout the show. It's like watching high schoolers going through a relationship. LUCIFER AND CHLOE GET YOUR SHIT STRAIGHT! lol

It may sound strange but this song actually made me think of a Viking going to war, the beginning of the song how slow things pick up, it's like the Viking has paid his respects to a fallen loved one and is on a Long Boat and he's heading to shore to go to battle, as the song picks up he's reached the shore he's fighting and as the songs about to reach its climax he turns to see another great warrior challenging him to a duel the song ends as the two are about to clash blades.

This song is incredible. Big compliment to the producers and to Claire Wyndham for interpreting it in a way that gives you goosebumps. The song is definitely one of the reasons why I have to cry every time I watch the ending scene.
But the best about it I didn't even notice before this lyric video -the text! "I will not say goodbye"? "Go bravely on"? I would say, Netflix's message is clear!

I'm glad to see netflix filling in, just like how the was expanse cancelled but still going strong. thank you netflix for capitalizing on other networks dysfunction and shortsightedness. too bad they couldn't save dark matter though, after all it was the best show in slot (ratings wise) but still somehow got killed by internal bs politicking.
one would think that ego, vanity, personal advancement, and spite wouldn't and shouldn't be reasons to kill a show. especially when its a good one, with good ratings, making good money, but leave it to the fox and syfy execs to think of themselves first and foremost and the network second and the viewers a distant third. it is hardly a wonder why good shows gets cancelled all the goddamn time. the cause is simply garbage leadership, if only they would allocate the time to take out the trash.

This song and the last ep of s4 was perfect, probably chloes most vulnerable moment in the whole series, begging him not to leave and Lucifers face dropping after the words “I love you” after putting up with constant denial of Chloe, but he had no choice other than to leave, this song gives the eary, sad and romantic vibe that ices the cake, amazing organising by the team.
Totally agree and thats why i was so upset with season 5. They had such an emotional ending in season 4 and made nothing of it in season 5. The whole problem with hell needing a king just vanishes. So disapointed.

I haven't shed a single tear in any series movie anime even ENDGAME but this episode got me I felt broken..... Maybe love isn't for everyone...... specially for the wicked. Got attached to these characters a lot W8tin for Season 5 hope it comes soon !!!!

Its nice sentiment i give you that, but he was casted to hell because of his rebellion against god. Thats only reason, why he was in hell in the first place. He was made ruler of the hell because of his hubris and mistakes he did in the past.
Plus, in this scene specifically, we can saw, that now, he isn't forced to go to the hell(maybe he wasn't first time either, but where else he could go? Heaven was off-limits, Earth was filled up with the creatures, he disdained and not to mention humanity was the reason, he and his father argued over) so for him, there was no other place. But now He CHOSE it, because of Chloe, who learnt him to value human life, not to mention admitting, that it wasn't his father, who made him do things(its funny now, when you think about it. Lucifer hates when humans blame him for their own crimes(he specifically said, that "i've never forced any of them to do anything), yet still, he blames his father for all deeds he did wrong). I think that this was god's endgame... He failed to teach Lucifer value of life, his angelic brethren shun him, everywhere he went, he was depicted as "evil incarnate", everyone used him as an excuse for their own BAD deeds, yet few humans(Chloe, Linda, Trixie even Dan in a way) managed, what almighty couldn't.
But as i said, nice sentiment, just little inaccurate.

The Blacklist is a good show even ignoring the music. The current season is sloppy but overall a good show. A show that used music very well was Chuck. Perfectly placed and many obscure songs that you likely wouldn’t think of otherwise.

Based on what everyone is saying it sounds like it ends on a sad cliffhanger....I'm planning on going slow when I hit Season 4. At least till the next season gets announced
I love how all the comments are either talking about a tv show or romantic love. When I first heard it I thought about how I love my mother even after she hurts me countless times. How hard I try to sever this connection with her but to no avail. It's my curse to burden.
Literal chills! This song is the perfect blend of chaos, bravery and sacrifice. A perfect way to describe lucifer and Chloe's relationship. When Lucifer needed to leave Chloe,the person he love more than anything in the world for her to be safe is the greatest sacrifice of all.
